This modification introduces very long sirens, horns and panic modes which use varying scan stages

 

 

Each of the 4 standard ELS sirens now have a base wail which crossovers into alert, phase, yelp and panic modes

Now, emergency vehicle airhorns climb and enter an alert chirping mode when held down...

 

Features Hold-to-shout airhorns, HI-Lo whistles, StreetThunder, Rumblers and a brilliant ELS panic mode shout!

Extra world and NPC sirens including varients of firetrucks, FBI vehicles and boat horns

Different version siren sets also in download...

 

 

This comes with an OIV installer, OAC file and folder, and the individual sounds.

                  The oac and vehicles folder with this are for game version 1.0.1737

Well people, it was pretty good. I said at the start I would keep this mod alive for a year, and I basically have 😁

As a final update to this mod, I've redesigned nearly 50 SFX for vehicles.  Suspension, surface type, damage, beeps and warnings, conditional sounds and more

..That's in addition to the brilliant     Scan  Superior  Siren     Coming  to  you  for  the  last  time

hey there i tried using the simpler horn mix but it doesn't loop please help

Those aren't exported for use in V. They are just sound files of various bit rate and size laying around at the end of me first making this.

 

3 things you will need to adjust to use them:

Non * to PCM and mono

16bit and truncate all of it/ equalizer/ dc offset either one works

Filename

 

Then, as normal adjust the headroom for proper sound. FruityLoops is best, truncate with Audacity and ensure filsize with Wavepad. 20 minutes max, good luck
