Is there a way to prevent the Policehelper from freezing the game? I have tried to set the config to force res. But still, it freezes when i use it. any workaround? :)

Does your game freeze or just pause (are you able to go to menu by pressing ESC)? Some ENBs are not compatible with mods using forms like PoliceHelper or LCPD:FR police computer.

The gameplay pauses i guess?, But i can access the menu and use the Helper normally :) But the surroundings freeze up. I have "stock" GTAIV, no ENB :)

But if you get out from PoliceHelper everything gets back to normal? It is by design. Mostly to prevent loosing control over vehicle when you use PoliceHelper device.

Barriers are quite CPU heavy so I had to limit them to certain amount. I may raise that limit a bit in next version, but don't expect tons of them. It's not only an object but also a script that checks for cars around and try to stop them.

How do you remove the tab that states that there is a new update

Just install new version. Also if you have 1.0 or newer version it will disappear after minute or two.

It's amazing how advanced these modifications get after a few years, great job.

I dont know if anyone can help me but this new version does not work for me. What happens is as soon as the game loads and about 2 to 3 seconds later the game crashes i dont even have enough time to move niko before it crashes. I ran the last version with know problems at all and i would love to run this version, i dont know what is going on but i really want to play with this update. If any one can help me to get this to work i would be more then happy to make you a texture for what ever

Would this work in MP?

PoliceHelper works in multiplayer but usually is not as stable as in single player. I saw videos of stable MP gameplays and I saw totally fucked up ones. I saw that most problems are caused by barriers in cones in multi, other parts of script work better. Also remember to make bigger intervals for events as with few users they can be awfully too common.

You should add fire department options. Also you should make it where cops are at the road block if so how many. And if there cop cars are behind the road block, and if lethal force is authorized or in authorized, and spike strips. Just a little side 1 you can choose a certain type of fire department vehicle respons (i.e. pumper, ladder)

1. There is fire extinguisher and as it is police mod I don't plan to add more

2. There should be policemen at roadblock, one per car

3. Spike strip on roadblock may be added in future. For now I can't check if lethal force is authorised, as there is no API for LCPDFR

4. There is only one fire truck in vanilla GTA so I won't mess with that, also see #1
