dodge charger
Hm well my thought was that the vehicle would have been configured for police2 or something so if we got what it was originally for it'd work. But I guess if it's the same charger base model the same handling lines should work well enough.

What vehicle was the custom car originally intended to replace? When you downloaded it was it police3.wft/wtd or was it something else and you had to rename it?

Post the current handling line for the police3 vehicle that you have. What vehicle was the custom car originally intended to replace?

Did it not come with any? Check the readme file.

If it's coming out of the wheel arches it probably means there is a custom handling line you haven't added or perhaps one that you edited previously for a different car but is no longer effective for the charger. If it isn't coming out of the wheel arches it's probably an aerial.

Cannnot Reinstall LCPDFR .95RC2
Run installer as administrator/make sure the files and folders inside gtaivcommondata are not read only. It sounds similar to another error as it talks about fileaccess. If not try making sure you have the full .net framework profile and try redownloading/installing the scripthook asi loader.

Hello, I'm New
As long as you have done everything correctly, LCPDFR will work correctly as soon as it installed. However, before you install LCPDFR you should complete at least the first story mission, then save the game. If you need any advice on how to play the mod I would suggest watching youtuve videos by predatores/unr3al or nbvideogamevids. They both have good walkthroughs.

LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 vs Police pursuit mod ( PPM 7.6) Differences
We have a suggestions forum but we're currently under a feature freeze until the features in 0.95 are fully refined. We tend to compare ppm and lcpdfr quite a bit here but the answers you get will naturally lean towards lcpdfr. They both have good elements and elements that need improvement but I think a consensus is that LCPDFR provides a more well rounded patrolman simulator. PPM can certainly be lots of fun with some of the callouts but just the fact there is more you can do in lcpdfr is where it tends to win. Another pointer is that PPM has a lot of text on the screen which is a big turn off for people. Also RPGs.

Xbox 360 users, look at this!
Unfortunately I don't think you'll find too many xbox players on the forum here as we are most here because we have the PC version but feel free to try.

Nooooo!!!!!!!!
Unlike you, I am not a child and I know that the reputation feature on this forum is just about meaningless so okay. Your rep will go back to neutral (or even positive) when you have made up for your shitposting by being a decent, intelligent and appreciated member of the forum.

Question about downloading skins?
If you are just downloading texture images (.pngs): Use sparkIV to open vehicles.img, find the vehicle that you are editing the skin of, press the edit button with the texture file of that car selected, on the left pane find the texture you are replacing (if it's a main body for the car, it's probably called police_sign_1/2/3/4) and then press the import button, find the image you have downloaded and select it and it should replace what was there. Then save and close. If you are downloading layered/mapped texture files (.wtd) then you just use sparkiv and import the new file.

Game graphics
When you change the video settings ingame there is a bar that tells you (generally) how much you can handle. You should be able to run it close enough to max.

Isn't the game 15+? How did you even buy it? Sorry it just always amazes me how many 12/13 year olds we seem to get and they wonder why they have such a hard time.- Can't Start LCPDFR
If you want to play it with regular gta iv you install it in rockstar gamesgrand theft auto iv if you want to install it with EFLC you install it in rockstar gamesepisodes from liberty city (I think is what it's called) either way, when the installer prompts you for a installation directory you should be able to pick the one you want if you are using common sense. You should have one directory for regular gtaIV (if you have it) and one for Episodes from Liberty City. So reinstall and pick the correct directory.- pushbar on police car
(ingame) Nothing aside from aesthetics. I do not believe they are treated any differently to any other part of the car model in terms of them having extra strength or anything.- Vehicle Mods & Slots (pol1,pol2,polpat,fbi,noose)
They are more detailed (higher poly count) and the game has more trouble attempting to load them, especially considering it is optimised to run the default vehicles which have much lower filesizes. That is my best guess anyway but it happens, yeah. - You Think I care
