  1. Run the diagnostic tool and post your error log.
  2. If you have simple native trainer there is an option to change the paint colour I believe. If you do not, it is a complicated process of editing the carcols data file and adding new colours to the vehicle.
  3. You have 0.91, 0.95 is where police stations started being used.
  4. You need to have dsound or xliveless installed in your gtaiv root directory to run the mod. The installer even gets you to choose which one you want to install - and you went ahead and deleted it afterward?
  5. Make sure your /gta iv/common/data folder and all the files and folders inside it are not read only and you are running the installer as administrator.
  6. Posting your event logs aren't going to help much, diagnostic reports from the official g17 tool are more useful. However if these are just one off crashes every now and then, particularly with NOOSE, most people experience them infrequently and if they aren't persistently ruining your game then I wouldn't worry too much about them. It's likely due to the game having trouble handling the cars it has to spawn when you call noose backup (can be your noose, polpatriot or fbi cars) if they are high poly or require ELS.
  7. If you are just downloading texture images (.pngs): Use sparkIV to open vehicles.img, find the vehicle that you are editing the skin of, press the edit button with the texture file of that car selected, on the left pane find the texture you are replacing (if it's a main body for the car, it's probably called police_sign_1/2/3/4) and then press the import button, find the image you have downloaded and select it and it should replace what was there. Then save and close. If you are downloading layered/mapped texture files (.wtd) then you just use sparkiv and import the new file.
  8. If you haven't managed it yet; Open your ELS configuration settings file and make sure this line DisplayLocation = 2 // 0 Off / 1 Only on with info. panel / 2 Always on when in a vehicle is like this. NOTE IT WILL ONLY WORK ONE ELS ACTIVE CARS. If it doesn't work it's because another mod is conflicting with it, but not LCPDFR so it continues to not be LCPDFR related.
  9. So there's no red marker outside the doors?
  10. Open the scripthook console with tilde ` (top left of your keyboard) and type spawn [vehicle name] So if you want to spawn a new police car, type spawn police or spawn police2
  11. Make sure you are installing the most recent version and the files and folders inside gta iv/common/data are not read only.
  12. That's really weird, I'm still interested to see the contents of your game directory if you can manage a screenshot
  13. Okay so you have scripthook installed and the mod is installed correctly it would seem. So if you really are pressing Alt and P and nothing is happening (press it once) then post a diagnostic report. AKA, Please consult all stickied support documentation at the top of the Support Forum then try again.
  14. Aha we have content! I'm impressed, good thread. But might I suggest using thumbnails and hyperlinks to images rather than having such an image heavy thread?
  15. It is alt P. If that fails try ctrl P, that has somehow worked for some people. What happens when you press the ` key when you are ingame? That is the key next to the decimal numbers on the far left of your keyboard. Also follow all of the links in my signature if you continue to experience difficulty. Further: if you were attempting to get ingame by pressing numpad 9 then you didn't even read the troubleshooter before you posted this thread. Please consult all stickied support documentation then try again.
  16. No. Alt+P is the activation shortcut for LCPDFR. I believe the numpad keys are use to activate Police Pursuit Mod, but if you have that you are in the wrong place.
  17. Make sure you're running the game as administrator and that the folders and files inside your root directory are not read only.
  18. EFLC is the downloadable content for GTAIV. It is simply another verison of GTA IV. You can run the LCPDFR mod on either copy just by installing it and the necessary other files.
  19. Why are you pressing numpad 9, what do you think this is?
  20. Seriously you need to start actually searching for answers before you make a new thread. I believe what you want is the Google Maps style minimap. It becomes a problem when your 10 new threads every day bury actual legitimate threads. http://lmgtfy.com/?q...ogle+maps+radar Or if you are after the feature that tells your location under the minimap, it's part of ELS and will appear on ELS active cars.
  21. Do you have weapons in your inventory before you go on duty? Try going to the trunk of your car.
  22. You only need to install the scripthook files that come with ELS if you don't already have them. Because you run LCPDFR, you should have them. By the looks of your config file, ELS is enabled on all of your emergency cars so as long as you are using the right keys and you have ELS cars, and the ELS files are in the right folder as you told me, it should work. For reference: You'll be able to tell if ELS is active as soon as you get in the car as your location (street name and suburb) will appear below your minimap for ELS cars.
  23. Post the contents of your els.ini file.
