  1. You need to use Dsound.dll OR xlive. Not both.
  2. Just for curiosity, why do you wish to block it?
  3. LCPDFR is not supported in any form of online play, or with any third-party mod. Those who upload YouTube videos rely heavily on editing to make it look like it does not crash. No one wants to see a crash.
  4. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Suggestions & Requests. Also, I have reset your font size and font. There is no need to use a different font or size in a request topic.
  5. Please post in the dedicated topic: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>. Further, the General & Miscellaneous Discussion section is a general purpose forum for all forms of miscellaneous discussion not catered for by any subject-specific forum. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  6. MODERATOR NOTICE Your thread has been moved to GTA IV Discussion & Media. The General & Miscellaneous Discussion section is a general purpose forum for all forms of miscellaneous discussion not catered for by any subject-specific forum. There is no difference between the GTA IV Disc version and Steam version. Purely placebo. If anything, the Steam version is more stable because of the lack of disc copy protection and disc reading.
  7. 1. Yes, this is a GTA IV setting. 2. It happens with modded cars I think. I've never had the issue.
  8. You don't have to go to the yellow circle and press "y" to respond. Press "y" to respond whenever you get the callout. As for why it always disregards, please post your LCPDFR.log.
  9. Hm yeah that is also a possibility. This isn't really my domain of expertise, what's the output on the PSU?
  10. Does it do the same if your GPU is disconnected? It could be a faulty GPU, and as such the motherboard shuts parts down.
  11. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to LCPDFR Discussion, as the General & Miscellaneous Discussion forum section is a general purpose forum for all forms of miscellaneous discussion not catered for by any subject-specific forum. It is not allowed to externally link LCPDFR. You can find the old versions here: > Do keep in mind that the only supported version of LCPDFR is LCPDFR 1.0c. No other versions will be able to get support.

  14. Does LCPDFR start?
  15. Most likely it is not installed properly then. Can you start the mod itself?

  17. No, it's a problem with securom failing to read the disc in time iirc.
  18. It happened quite a few times with my GTA IV Disc. Just had to keep trying and it worked.
  19. Nothing to see here! This thread has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff, because it has been created in an incorrect forum. We require that LCPDFR support requests are created in the LCPDFR Support Requests forum, so that users are presented with the troubleshooter. Please use that forum and follow the clearly presented instructions. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  20. MODERATOR NOTICE Topic moved to GTA IV Support Requests, as this is not a LCPDFR Discussion Topic about the LCPDFR Modification itself which is what the LCPDFR Discussion section is for (where you originally posted). You will need OpenIV to modify your vehicles.img. If you're unsure how to do this, we have a tutorial section to help you. Here is a tutorial that might suit your needs: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/vehicle-modification-tutorial/installing-vehicles-and-changing-vehicle-liveries-video-r102 Our download section as a wide range of mods to use. I can personally recommend any mod by Yard1, Olanov and Custo.
  21. ineseri is my username, for your information. I'm just stating what we know here. I had a feeling it'd be released for PC, but nothing was confirmed by Rockstar until recently. You can't always assume things will go your way, just because it's likely. Little official information has been released by Rockstar regarding GTA V PC, and as such, anything you read on the internet is purely speculation and in no way fact. Fact is what we know for certain. We have no way of knowing how the port will turn out. Further, I did not deny that a PC version was coming, I took no stance in the question. I stuck to the facts, not the hypetrain.
  22. Still, nothing confirmed officially from Rockstar yet :)
  23. "Rumour" is the keyword here :)
  24. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests, as this is not a LCPDFR Discussion Topic about the LCPDFR Modification itself which is what the LCPDFR Discussion section is for (where you orignally posted). Please ensure to keep the forum tidy by posting in the correct section in the future. You will need OpenIV to modify your vehicles.img. If you're unsure how to do this, we have a tutorial section to help you. 25. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests as the Computers & Technology section is the place to talk about the latest trends in technology, get advice on computer specs and discuss programming and design, NOT general support. Please refer to the GTA IV Manual that comes with the game. Do keep in mind that GTA IV is not officially supported on any other operating system than Windows Vista. To successfully run it though, can you answer a few questions? 1. Do you have a disc version or digital download version of the game? 2. Is the game a legal copy (i.e did you buy the game)? 3. Does your PC meet the minimum requirements to run GTA IV?
