"Please release GTA V on PC," the petition begins. "GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Will it make a difference? Will you sign it? Should the description for the petition not have been written by a teenager? Its an inevitability yes, but does it require something like this? I think not.

Its almost Cyber Monday. Plan to purchase a card soon that has more power to it, a 2GB or even 3GB card so you won't have to upgrade sooner than later. Your power supply may not be able to give the card enough juice, be sure 450watts is enough for whatever card you're looking into. Also, as I ran into this problem, your motherboard and power supply PIN setup may not support the card you want with your current setup. PIN 6 vs PIN 8, etc...is important. Last thing you want is your setup not being able to plugin after you bought an expensive card!

I had recently checked the ENB I mentioned above to see if it replaces this, and it does, just FYI.

If you're on this forum I' m assuming you're talking about the PC version of GTA V, which has not been announced as to when it will be released or become open to pre-order. Until then, you can pre-order if you're on a console sure. When it does get set for pre-order for the PC version, you can be sure I'll be doing just that.

I don't think there's a huge difference between IV and EFLC. If anything I prefer EFLC for its variety of weapons, missions and gameplay. It does, however, lack support from most modders out there, so you have to dig a bit more for those great mods. Personally I only play EFLC.

Not sure what I'm looking for in visualsettings.dat but I will replace with original and see what happens. Also adjusted draw distance with original, no fix. The only thing I can think might have caused this was using a clean savegame on the mission I was working on. But starting a new game should have remedied this. It did not. Baffled!

I wonder if they'll also make use of other liveries, like a Border Patrol department...

To answer your first question, I'm guessing no. They're skimping on old "minigames" in exchange for larger side-games like golf, etc...according to the article from GameInformer. The answer to the second is, if you have to ask, you can't run it. I can barely run IV. If you want to really show off the graphics of this game...its time to start saving. It'll likely be another year until we see it. GTA IV came out on console April of 2008, and December for PC. Time to do some odd jobs...

Tried 3 different versions of ENB, no luck. Need to check game without any ENB. Need to check TLAD... Reverted four different cars I had been using with no problems. Reverting more. Started new game. Checked handling/vehicle/carcol/weaponinfo files....ugh

That's what I'm backtracking when I uninstall and reinstall. Thankfully I have somewhat of a log (no dates though) to see what I was testing. Hoping its just the ENB version I have, though the author stated he wasn't sure why it would happen and it is EFLC specific. I was also adding new textures to various cars via OpenIV to have unique plates on certain police & taxi models, not sure if this would be related though. I am also going to try starting a new game and see if that fixes it as well.

The bat is under GTA IV\pc\models\cdimages\weapons.img Replace "w_bat.wtd" & "w_bat.wdr" with the ones provided in the download mentioned above.

That's a big assumption to make. Lets wait and find out. Besides, I'll still play it on PC.

So while I haven't tried switching my ENB to an earlier version, I'm at a loss for why this is happening. You can even see the reflection of the building's lights on the water, but not on the buildings. This occurs across the map in Eastside Algonquin, Bohan, parts of Alderney, the entire first island (Broker, etc...) What I have done: Uninstalled & Reinstalled: CGE ENB 5.03 / LCPDFR / ScriptHook / AdvancedHook / SNT / All Script-based mods (TowService, METT, Helper, TrafficLoad...) This is on EFLC 1.1.2.0 with all updates. I will update after some troubleshooting tonight, but if anyone has seen this let me know, its difficult searching on Google for this one, nothing really comes up. Thanks in advance!

Okay so this is really weird, but just before the storm hit, this happened to my game: Had to share...because I can't seem to fix it either!!

YES. Oh lord how I tried to figure that one out. I had to chalk it up to being such a minor detail.
