  1. Very kind words! Thank you. I will consider another pack, though I've put quite a lot of time into this one as it is, about another 3+ hours on the Tahoe, so a total of 9 hours. My OCD gets the best of me sometimes, but the results are what I expect. I'll be working on the Charger today...

  3. For those interested, the Tahoe was completed: Looking forward to putting together the Charger and finishing up the various liveries.
  4. The Albany Washington Executive TAXI will be available soon! I incidentally made multiple submissions for the Taxi...it kept kicking back a database error. While I did not find a fix for the destination marker box, I got tired of holding onto this one. Hope I didn't upload 5 of the same file! I'm sure the admin will clear just the one! I'll be putting this on GTAMods as well as the Boxville pack as they're both more appropriate there I believe.

    • Version v2.0
V2.0 Features a new and improved model that fixes the destination marker issue! Added features are a lower file-size as well as the features noted below. Unique T&LC plates Liberty City Inspection stickers, fleet stickers and permits displayed in the front window Updated car colors Unique dirt textures for car and tires Please use "taxi.wft" and "taxi.wtd", instead of replacing the "cabby" or "taxi2" causes issues with the destination marker being cut off completely, only if you decide to take a cab. Its a simple but pleasant mod that adds another touch of realism to Liberty City, while being, as always, lore friendly. ENJOY!

  7. I'm interested in knowing the answer here too...everytime I export it just freezes up.

  9. I recall seeing this article when I went searching for source material with my Washington "Town Car" taxi. I was just up in NYC in March of this year and they're still holding their presence strongly, though its a logical step towards replacing them with more eco-friendly cars. That reminds me, I'm releasing that Town Car regardless of that minor issue with the destination marker...look for it soon.

  11. I figure I'd step in and give my 2 cents seeing as I'm the one who took the request. The Doctor here actually contacted me via private message first and we discussed. By profession I am a graphic designer/artist and take commissions based on hourly rates. But I reconsidered on this project. After deliberating with myself however I came up with the idea that, if he wanted to pay me then that's fine. If not, that is fine too. I told him ANY price would be acceptable. Any price at all. Going on how some albums are sold now where you name your price, I figured I'd do the same. If he wants to pay me that then that is fine too. I don't want people thinking I'm purposely gouging him to make these skins. It is ultimately his decision on what the final price is. This is a community, and I respect that community and their willingness to take requests without reward. I am not taking this project lightly, like any project I do. My attention to detail is priority #1. This is 6+ hours of work as of current. Anyways, with that said, here is the skin insofar:
