  1. Can't say I'm looking forward this.
  2. Yeah, when you want someone to be tortured that's just barbaric. No matter how "justified" you would think it is. You're only lowering yourself to their level, if not even below that level. Only one with a sadistic mind would wish another human being to be tortured.
  3. But that's in Beachgate! Damned Liberty Tree. Not a bad idea though.
  4. They're God damned annoying. If they get spooked due to gunfire or something, they just keep purposely slamming into you. Even more so than in IV. They still rear end you online in V too by the way.
  5. Pfft... I still don't know what countdown you people are talking about... I really don't.
  6. Oh God what is going on? Oh, I see. I'm being consumed by a santa hat.
  7. Not a problem to me! I do a lot of waiting.
  8. Grabbed a key, re-installing the game. Here we go.
  9. I like how the LSPD cruisers have LCPD laptops. Check in yourself if you don't believe me.
  10. I might grab a key, kind of hesitant. I didn't like Just Cause 2 to begin with and I really need some convincing to re-install it.
  11. Good idea. You don't lose anything by trying.
  12. Pretty much, they do rubberband, and I really dislike that. The on rails like handling easily allows that to be done.
  13. The graphics are really weird even though they're supposed to be all awesome looking. The shadows for a example fail often. So let's say you go past a tree which casts a shadow, you look back and that shadow will be gone. They disappear. Also the game has the tendency of removing stuff like mountains at the corner of your screen. On the top right there should be a mountain but the game removed it so it's just white. On top of that it's just weird and took things from Most Wanted 2013 I didn't really understand. Most of the time roads and everything would be wet even thought it hasn't rained nor is it actually raining at the time being. Maybe that's just them trying to give the game a "good look" but it's pretty stupid in all honesty. I just hate the amount of recycled content. Even the racer player model is the same from MW: 2013, the cop model is same, even the guy inside civilian vehicles is the same cop, just without the uniform. At least civvie cars have interiors now but that doesn't really reedeem it to me. They also have some of the most idiotic police lingo I have ever heard in a video game, just like in MW: 2013. "Code 3 suspect is 10-41." I'm glad that suspect is going with his lights and sirens while beginning his tour of duty. At least they dropped the eleven codes from MW: 2013, so praise the Lord for that. Authentic police radio was one of my favorite things about police chases in games such as the original Most Wanted, Carbon and even Undercover. Also looking at those busted scenes in Most Wanted - Undercover never fails to entertain. Tri-City PD was a pretty badass police department for a Need for Speed game. I just miss all those previous games, Hot Pursuit: 2010 was definitely the last NFS game I enjoyed for the most part. It was pretty bad already.
  14. There's a lot of LEO's. Both good and bad and like us, LEO's are just human, only doing a job not a lot of people like. Maybe people do, I don't know. All I know is not everyone does. They represent the authority and often do things that make people disagree, even retaliate on extreme cases. They tell you what to do and what not to do. Things ranging from lecturing, to giving us tickets or arresting people. That alone creates a lot of hate. On the other hand, there are those LEO's who shame the badge with their corrupt acts and deserve to be thrown under the bus. Those invidivuals tend to stain a lot of good departments and good people while at it, create a lot of hate too. Of course a lot of kids have the 'rebel' mentality and say "fuck the police" because, well, it's cool. I guess. Usually they grow out of it though. Internet also opens a whole new level of hate because people get to say things they wouldn't have the guts to say in public or to an LEO him/herself. There's also a lot of stupider folk online. Just saying.
  15. This was really bad. Not like I expected a lot anyway. My friend got it today and it's been crashing all over the place, locked at 30fps while suffering from the most obscure graphical/visual errors. Having horrible police car liveries (and police radio) while at it too. Apparently the AI didn't get any better neither and traffic loves stopping dead in front of you along with police cars smashing into you instead of helping with pursuits. I'd write more but I'm in a hurry to play IV.
  16. Begging answers from moderators certainly won't do any good or give you the answer. Best would be to give the devs their time and let them finish up on their own time so we all get to enjoy a finished, quality product that they so kindly volunteered to do for us.
  17. Indeed, what IS happening? Boston city police found it's way to Alderney. Bet you'll have some explaining to do back at the stationhouse.
  18. Good sign. I'm still planning to. Policing in Finland could be slightly different from the States too, perhaps not as stressful. Also: http://criminologycareers.about.com/od/Career_Trends/a/Do-Law-Enforcement-Careers-Lead-To-Divorce.htm But like OP said, leaving your badge at work is an excellent solution. You see enough bad stuff on the job, you don't want to take it home with you.
  19. As fare as I'm aware, no. Police Pursuit Mod has some sort of a "ranking" system, if you would, but it doesn't directly affect the mod I think.
  20. In a nutshell, it's trash. I don't think there is a way to disable it or re-enable the old system.
