Small changes to maintaining files
We're mostly just testing it and playing around with it for now. A common complaint we get is aside from forum posts, there's no big list of the most common and essential mods anywhere. We're hoping this will fix that and make it easier for newer players to get started with the best mods for their LSPDFR experience.

Sorry, that's not an option at this time.

Small changes to maintaining files
Hi guys, We've made a few very small changes to uploading files but I feel they deserve a small mention. This has been based on feedback sent to me. Hidden files will stay hidden upon uploading a new version If your file was hidden and you uploaded a new version of the file, and that file was flagged by our security systems as requiring manual approval, the act of approving the file would cause it to be shown. Instead, if you submit a change to a hidden file, even if it needs manual approval, the act of moderator approval will put your file back into a 'Hidden by Author' stage for you to unhide at a time of your choosing. This should make staging updates easier. If this applies to you, upon trying to upload a new version, you'll see this at the bottom of the page. You can now choose to mute notifications when uploading a new version If you are making a small change, for example a small irrelevant bugfix or a small change to the changelog of your file, you now have the option of making sure notifications don't get sent to people. Please note that the updated date will still be bumped, though. You can now submit files pre-hidden. Upon submitting a file, you can now submit a file pre-hidden. This also incorporates the changes from 1) that if your file needs to be approved, it will be approved back into the hidden state for you to unhide later at a time of your choosing. Cyan.

Play LSPDFR with friends
It's not possible for us to make LSPDFR multiplayer, mostly due to licensing issues with the current "open source" mutliplayer frameworks.

We're doing some optimizations on our side anyway that might help. We're going to be introducing separate servers for Europe, and we're working on improving our systems so we can do proper load balancing. Once this is done, we'll redirect traffic from problematic ISPs to these new European servers, which will hopefully fix the issue since they'll be hosted with a different supplier. I don't have an ETA for this though, but it's something that we're wanting to do before the end of the year.

Certain ISPs seem to have real contention issues to our frontend provider (OVH). Comcast has serious problems with our site, and I'll add your ISP to the list. Other than chasing up people on our end (which we've done for Comcast already and hasn't seemed to help), there's not much we can do.

Disable LSPDFR for Online
RAGEPluginHook doesn't start automatically, it only starts when you launch GTA V via RAGEPluginHook.exe. All I do is just use the default launcher when I'm trying to play GTA Online, and then use RAGEPluginHook.exe if I'm trying to use LSPDFR.

POLICE 10-13..Thoughts & Questions
No apology needed, I'm sure most of our community that was there back when the initial thread was made in our site (what, probably around 3 years ago now?) observed the behavior and have made up their own minds on that project. I personally wish it every success, even if I doubt it will succeed.

POLICE 10-13..Thoughts & Questions
They threatened legal action against us for our members pointing out they were using pirated software for their forum. You can guess my opinion based on that.

An update for ScripthookV?
LSPDFR and RAGEPluginHook have no dependence on Scripthook V. Scripthook V is not required for LSPDFR operation.

Manual Review
Our manual approval can take up to 7 days, although we obviously aim for less. No, for some reason your file failed our automatic checks. We don't issue the criteria for our checks as this means people could bypass it. Your file could have failed for numerous reasons, although it's most likely your file is packed/archived in a way that means our automatic scanner can't look at it.

Approval of uploaded plugin
Because a developer could be hacked, or decide to upload malicious content unexpectedly. The approval process is there to protect our users.

Pack Section / Filter
It's not a bad idea, however, we are resistant to adding new filters as most authors will not go back and update their files to the new filters.
