  1. You assume this was intentional. Usually the plonkers at IPS make a change that is incompatible with our changes (like responding to reviews). We'll fix this soon.

  3. Yup, this is a bug. We'll have it fixed soon.
  4. LCPDFR.com serves around 0.5Pb (~500Tb) a month in downloads alone. In order to sustain this, we do have a fair usage policy. We do not limit how much data you can download from LCPDFR.com. However, we do have restrictions on how much you can download at once. Speed is limited depending on your account type. Account Type Speed Limit Maximum Simultaneous Downloads Guest 1000kb/s (Ad blocker) 3500kb/s 4 Member 7500kb/s 4 Insider Unrestricted 4 All users are limited to 4 simultaneous downloads/connections at the CDN level. Download speed limits apply on a per-connection/download basis. Download speed limits do not apply with our Premier CDN, which is currently restricted to Insiders and Staff. It's possible that you may not get the maximum speed, for a variety of reasons; You are using a download manager or software that attempts to make numerous connections (this is not supported and can reduce your download speed). Your ISP has contention issues to our download server provider. Our servers are overloaded (we are experiencing high load) and therefore congestion may reduce speed of all downloaders. However, we expect that all logged in members should be able to achieve at least 1000kb/s at all times. If you are unable to achieve this base speed, please create a topic in the Website Problems, Feedback and Suggestion forum.
  5. If you aren't signed in, your downloads will be throttled to allow our more seasoned members more bandwidth. This is dynamic and can vary from around 100kb/s to 2000kb/s. Logged in accounts have a bandwidth limit of around 4000kb/s per file, with a maximum limit of 3 files downloading at a time.

  7. This isn't available at this time.
  8. Works fine for me. The issue is on your end.
  9. 503 on our download section means you (or someone else on your IP) has 3 downloads already ongoing. You can only download 3 files at once. Wait until some are done then retry.
  10. It's not a good way of doing it, is it? For now you can use the Since filters until we think of a better solution.
  11. It's easy to promise things decades down the line when your Government won't be in power.
  12. Not always. But the process of converting source code into machine code or IL code (making the .DLL) means that it is difficult to make modifications to. This is just the nature of compiled code.
  13. If both our site and Mediafire doesn't work, the problem is most likely on your end.
  14. Your AV might be getting rid of it.
  15. Something similar might return for LSPDFR. The previous system was ultimately abandoned because it became very complex to maintain (there were numerous servers, code written in a mix of PHP/node.js/C#). There is an effort for a new system that would be much simpler for us to maintain behind the scenes.
  16. I can only fix things that I'm made aware of. That being said we'll investigate this now.
  17. We did that. For about 3 years. It didn't work. Most users don't read. We changed our approach last year to trying to be more supportive (e.g. editing to include spoilers, not closing threads because they did something wrong).
  18. Are you potentially using garbage decompression software?
  19. What speed are you getting downloading files from here?
  20. No idea, you've not provided any information that could lead us to a cause.
  21. Our downloads system is mostly custom coded, I don't have the time or will to integrate a third-party system with it. CAPTCHA serves our needs just fine, automated downloads are practically null with CAPTCHAv1.
  22. There's already a thread about this. http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/75502-cant-change-cover-photos-position/
  23. The LCPDFR.com website is apolitical. We try to be neutral in regards to politics.
  24. There are currently no issues on our side that would prevent uploads.
  25. We sometimes change which CAPTCHA software to use in response to automated bots. We recently switched from V2 (The tick one) to V1 (the word typing one). Mostly because it seems bots can bypass the V2 software easily and we were being hammered with bots. Once we think the situation is better, we might switch again to V2.
