  2. LSPDFR itself doesn't slow your game by any significant amount.
  3. That ban message is a little unprofessional, but what do you expect from Discord really? We don't have anything to do with the RPH Discord. Although we have a RPH developer on our team (LMS) he doesn't really use the RPH Discord server at all. Your best bet is probably contacting the staff member who banned you directly.
  4. I'm in Central Edinburgh, and it's not anywhere near as bad as people are making out. But hey, I've been to Geneva when walking was difficult and the snow went half way up your leg, so maybe my opinion is biased. My thoughts go out to the homeless, though.
  5. That's not a normal time for our downloads to take. Are you able to try again at a different time and tell me if you still encounter this issue? Also, it sometimes helps us understand your issue if you give us some information on your situation (e.g. your browser, advertised speed, SpeedTest.net result, etc).

  7. Glad you got this sorted. For future reference to anyone else who finds this thread, you just need to paste the YouTube video link into the Editor and it should auto-expand to an embedded video.
  8. It opens fine for me in WinRAR. A file test reveals no errors. I did notice the archive is using RAR5, so if people had an older version of WinRAR there potentially could be problems.
  9. No it's fine, apologies if my first reply seemed abrasive. We've received a lot of feedback about the floating ad. We actually asked our ad partner to disable it a few months ago, but this seems to have gone unnoticed. We will discuss this again internally.
  10. Can you tell me which ads particularly you are concerned about? Looking at your screenshot, I see an ad for a surface pro, from Microsoft and then an ad for a company called Zenedge, a security company, which seems mistargetted but wouldn't say is scammy in anyway. If you feel more comfortable using Adblock, you can certainly do so. We don't employ any technical means to block it. We cannot force people to support us.
  11. People forget the huge effort that is made in core LSPDFR to make sure that we're slowing down the game as little as possible. We run everything through performance profiling, we have devtools that measure the impact on FPS and there are caches and optimisations for literally everything in LSPDFR. If plugins are slowing down your game, the best thing to do is to report this to the author of the plugin. It is possible to attain similar results to what we do.
  12. When I looked into this before, the slowness was not coming from LSPDFR itself, but third-party plugins.
  13. To be fair, the entire point of the gallery is that all the images are uploaded to the albums. It's not really designed for other images being in the description (this especially shows on mobile!). We'll soon be getting rid of the gallery restrictions, allowing you to upload to your gallery as much as you want. The limitation of 5 photos on the homepage will be enforced by technical means. However, we're currently on a feature freeze internally until the next version of the board software we use (IPS) is released, 4.3. Once this is released, we'll be working on this feature.
  14. I can confirm we're implementing this and it will arrive in the next update of the downloads system.
  15. Well, the error is saying you don't have access to the file. Either you aren't running it as Administrator or you are doing something like trying to do it with the game open.
  16. Try running the updater as admin.
  17. I'm not entirely against replacing it, I am against replacing it with nothing though. If anyone has a better idea my ear is certainly open.
  18. You don't have to install it, you can just not update your game if you are feared of that.
  19. Thanks for noticing the problem with the link! We'll fix it soon. You can also go to Mods > Downloads and click LSPDFR from there to download LSPDFR.
  20. I can't imagine that LSPDFR + FiveM will ever be a thing. That's not to say very far down the road there won't be multiplayer support in some way, but it's something that isn't on the cards right now.
  21. Our system is based on careful re-implementation of the GTA Online character creator. We'll hopefully have an API or some XML system for third-party developers to expose custom stuff to LSPDFR.
  22. LSPDFR is currently not structured to be multi-lingual. Personally I would not expect this as a feature that will come in the next few releases, as having all strings translatable significantly delays development time. It's something that will be looked into in the future, though.
  23. Script modifications are fairly easy, just read the readmes and extract places in the right places. OpenIV is still a little clunky, but isn't too difficult to master. I'd say it's around the same, if not slightly easier for GTA V.
  24. In future you really only just have to read the message given. If it says under approval, its under approval. I can see from our stats the files were approved in around 4 hours.. hardly an eternity right?
  25. This should now be fixed.
