  1. Top Gear UK, Cops, Air Crash Investigations and Animation Fixation (two hours of The Simpsons and Futurama) are the only TV shows I will actually watch on TV. There's something about watching three old men say "oh cock" a lot and crash into the back of each other.... That sounds way dirtier than I intended.
  2. Glad I'm not the only one who watches Squirrel on this forum.
  3. If anyone is out of hand here it's you. You've completely ignored the points we've made and insist on calling us "imature". It's quite ironic that you can't even spell the word you attempt to insult us with too.
  4. You're basically telling us what we can and what we can't like, I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. If you wish to control what people are allowed to like/dislike go start your own dictatorship.
  5. Your point? I can think a fucking wall is cute if I like.
  6. Exactly this. There's a multitude of different genres just like every other TV show. Fan service just runs high because well... it's cute girls not wearing much. Need I say more?
  7. You're implying that all anime and cartoons are aimed at children. This couldn't be further from the truth. There are shows aimed at both older and younger audiences. Look at cartoons such as Archer, Family Guy, South Park and American Dad. Are they aimed at children and are they child friendly? No, they aren't.
  8. And? People can be obsessed over anything, not just anime. Why do you care what others are obsessed with anyway? Does it affect you? No. Anime is short for "animation", however "anime" is the term given to all animation of manga style created in Japan, so technically speaking, all anime is Japanese.
  9. I do like that you've used quotation marks to suggest that anime isn't it's real name or something. What makes you think it's absurd? I'm very curious.
  10. Increase the Range_PRML and Inten_PRML numbers under the [ ENV LIGHTING ] section of your ELS.ini file.
  11. It's the internet, what do you expect? You're complaining about those becoming hostile towards you and I'm offering you advice on how to avoid those conflicts.
  12. It was only a suggestion. Controversial topics are way more likely to end in disaster than those of other nature, as I'm sure you know.
  13. *sigh* You're completely missing the point I'm trying to make. It doesn't matter if you aim to be professional or not, our website has guidelines that must be followed. One of those guidelines prohibits unstructured, messy or otherwise hard to read posts. Look at that thread of yours and tell me it's not an eyesore. As for that last remark, perhaps people wouldn't be so hostile towards you if you stop covering controversial issues.
  14. Regardless, you should at-least try to post some content about the article rather than just copying bits of it. Whether it's your opinion, information about that said piece or a question to the community, just put something there. It'll look a whole lot more professional that just copying and pasting bits and pieces and leaving it in a giant mess. A simple sentence will do. You don't have to go all out with paragraphs and paragraphs if you don't want to. What I said above still stands though. If you don't care about that said event/news story, you shouldn't be posting about it.
  15. If you don't care about the topic you shouldn't be posting about it. Simple as that.
