  1. If you want lore friendly/vanilla, use DispatchWorks. Has pretty much everything and is updated with more packs every other month. https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/dispatchworks-pack-add-on-oiv-tuning-liveries
  2. The Jetsonic and Streethawk rotate too fast, could you slow them down? Otherwise it's very nice to see this old abandoned model getting some attention.
  3. Oh awesome! I didn't realize I could just use plain text, works perfectly now, thanks a lot! 😄
  4. Ah a character limit, that probably explains why the only one that worked was "LSPD Merit". I've struggled to find information about this, I don't have to use the hash? I want the vehicle names to be unique when using SNT to spawn them, otherwise it ends up as "Emergency, Police Cruiser" x7 and I have no idea what's what.
  5. I'm messing around with a few pre-made packs and editing them to fit what I want, in doing so I'm trying to rename them in-game so I can find them easier in SNT. I've read a few tutorials and have generated hashes using OpenIV's hash generator from the <gamename> tags in the vehicles.meta file, however upon adding them to the global.gxt2 file only one out of seven is showing as what I intended and I'm not sure why. The others are simply showing as their original model names as in the vehicles.rpf file. What am I doing wrong here? <gameName>ULSAPD Stanier</gameName> <gameName>ULSAPD Slicktop Stanier</gameName> <gameName>ULSAPD Unmarked Merit</gameName> <gameName>ULSAPD Stanier Old</gameName> <gameName>unmarked merit</gameName> <gameName>lspd merit</gameName> <gameName>usaf security forces merit</gameName> This is what I've set the hash codes to be in-game, out of all of them only the "LSPD Merit" one works. 0xDF4E7868 = ULSAPD Stanier 0x847F1105 = ULSAPD Stanier Slicktop 0xD07B133E = ULSAPD Merit Unmarked 0xBF76DFCB = LSIAPD Stanier 0x87CCB4EB = Unmarked Merit 0x39CE5E90 = LSPD Merit 0xA26B2551 = USAF Merit I'm assuming this is because it's first in the global.gxt2 file, how do I make the game recognize I have more than one car though? I've added them but obviously my formatting is wrong somewhere. This is what it's in my global.gxt2 file, interesting to note the Merit is second last here but shows as first when imported into OpenIV (I'm guessing because it has the lowest hash code?). Version 2 30 { 0xDF4E7868 = ULSAPD Stanier 0x847F1105 = ULSAPD Stanier Slicktop 0xD07B133E = ULSAPD Merit Unmarked 0xBF76DFCB = LSIAPD Stanier 0x87CCB4EB = Unmarked Merit 0x39CE5E90 = LSPD Merit 0xA26B2551 = USAF Merit } Any help appreciated, thanks.
  6. Great update! I've been looking for some more lore friendly motorbikes. EDIT: Using the automatic install the BF400 dirtbike spawns black with no livery and is paintable.
  7. I believe this is just GTA V's shitty car physics and not an LSPDFR thing. Some cars work, others get grinded together and it's impossible to spin them out, I know exactly what you're talking about and it's extremely annoying. I think it might have something to do with vehicle mass, try some handling mods and see if they make a difference.
  8. They may be ugly but they fit in with all the other cars. I dunno what it is, I never used to like them, I detested them in IV but they're grown on me a lot in V. Packs like DispatchWorks are a must, with individual additions from there.
  9. Same here. When LSPDFR first came out I was all aboard the real vehicles and getting rid of the ugly lore ones as fast as possible, but coming back to the game now 5 years later I'm finding myself using all the lore friendly vehicles exclusively. There's loads of amazing packs and they all fit in, it's great. The only thing I like about ELS over the default system is it's only a button press to switch between lights only, lights and sirens, just sirens as well as dual tones and sirens staying on when you get out of your car (going through a menu to do this with LSPDFR is rather annoying, I can't seem to find a mod that lets me do this, perhaps Siren Mastery?). The customizable lighting patterns is nice too.
  10. I had the same issue, I was dumbfounded by it too. Turns out it's caused by World of Variety, it's outdated and doesn't support the latest patch. Uninstall it and all should be good.
  11. I just copy the original directory into a separate folder so if I need to I can just copy and paste things back. RagePluginHook has an option to back up your original files too.
  12. A few years ago when I had to be transported to another hospital in the back of an Ambulance, being the nerd I am, I asked the paramedics I was with what siren they used. They had no clue whatsoever, but since it was late at night they did put the siren on for a brief period just for me, haha. 😂
  13. Same for me, though I've got 9 days extra on you. 😎
  14. This file is very old now so it may not work anymore, apologies if you're having issues. I'm not modding GTA anymore.
  15. Apologizes for my inactivity. It's up to you, I really do not mind either way. I don't make textures for GTA much anymore so I really don't mind, lol.
  16. Seems cops in the States are too eager to go to deadly force right away these days. There was absolutely no need for it, this guy was unarmed and non-combative towards the officer, he could have been subdued with a nightstick, pepper spray or a taser, but no, now he's dead. It's incidents like these that only lead to more mistrust of law enforcement.
  17. ...why not just use one of the development or civilian models?
  18. I don't know the exact siren they use, but from my understanding most departments in the UK use either Whelen or Hazard sirens. Here's two British sirens I found, no idea if they're accurate or not, but that's for you to decide. :)
  19. I'm in Western Australia and just downloaded LCPDFR now to test, took 20 seconds on the NBN. Seems to be more on your end I'm afraid.
  20. How about a character limit? Make it so reviews can't be shorter than 50 characters, or something like that. It'd stop users from just posting "Good", "Cool", "Nice" and that sorta thing.
  21. I've merged all your posts into one single topic. Please do not spam the forum with requests about basically the same thing, in future just create one thread asking if said badges can be made or not. Also this has nothing to do with LSPDFR, moved. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  22. I'm unsure of any departments actually using it, but I like the way it sounds too. I did a bit of testing with it in GTA V but trying to find a clean copy is hard.
  23. Have you got any other controllers plugged in? I've had problems with my Xbox 360 controller affecting my joystick, mouse and keyboard controls (and vice versa) on older games, but I've never had it happen in GTA V.
