I did a clean install of GTAV (Steam)... how do I back it up before LSPDFR?

Is this even possible? Because I used to just copy all the files from the main GTAV directory and save them in another folder on a different drive.

Not so sure that works anymore. Is there a more efficient way? I just hate having to redownload another 80GB of data each time I want to clean things up.

Do you mean LSPDFR?

LSPDFR itself doesn't change any existing files, only adding new ones. You can make a backup by just copying the GTA V folder (which I would recommend anyway), or, if you're just planning on using LSPDFR without other modifications, note which new files exist in the installation package, and you can remove them only to uninstall LSPDFR.

Oops. Yes.

Before I even install LSPDFR, I want to back up the GTAV directory just in case I need to start fresh again.

So when I adding files from the various Callout mods or smartradio, policer, etc, none of those files in the 'plugins' and 'lcpdfr' folders are changed or overwritten?

I can't speak for other mods, but LSPDFR itself doesn't change any of GTA's core files, it only adds new ones.

Oh. Lol. Well that I already knew. But most people install other plugins on top of LSPDFR.
