PIT Maneuver "Vehicle Bounced Off" Issue

Featured Replies

Okay, just a simple question, I don't know how many people got this issue, but I think I'm not the first.

Issue:

All cars, apart from "Sheriff" this police car. Whenever I use pit maneuver to pull over the other car, my car will bounced off, I know that's so weird. You know, I'm like driving a jelly to pit the other jelly, yeah. But I really don't know why, The police car of "Sheriff" never got this situation.

I just try every means, I deleted Mods file, I removed all Plugins/ Scripts and Mods, But I still got this shit!

So I just want to know is that GTA V original problem? I not mean that's a GTA V bug, I just said that's set by the Rockstar.

Please, if you know how to deal with it, please tell me, I'll very appreciate for you!

Must be some weird bug cause I'm not having it, unless you mean Pit Maneuver as in a plugin/script? So far I've successfully pit several cars with 'police', 'police2', 'sheriff', 'sheriff2' and so on without the issue you're having.

Could it be something related to bad vehicles meta files or xml files?

Does this apply to any car from any pack or just the 'sheriff spot'?

Will this happen to your police car, when you use pit maneuver?

Pits no longer work. Its like trying too pit a tank.It worked in 3.1

But I'm pretty sure this problem also happened when I used LSPDFR 0.31 before

I believe this is just GTA V's shitty car physics and not an LSPDFR thing. Some cars work, others get grinded together and it's impossible to spin them out, I know exactly what you're talking about and it's extremely annoying. I think it might have something to do with vehicle mass, try some handling mods and see if they make a difference.

To answer your question as it stands, no my suspect doesn't feel like pitting a tank. It's normal like it should be more or less, it's a video game after all. Like Illusionyary said, it's probably just a video game being a video game. Unpredictable and buggy, hopefully ??PDFR for Gta 6 will work better. Alternatively it will work better in RDRFR when that releases in a few weeks, months or years.

Just continue playing the game, pit some cars and enjoy. I doubt you'll find a fix for it since I don't believe it's an lspdfr issue. Nothing you can do really. Do one thing though, sort of like
Pazzi said. Trigger a busted tire, shoot the right rear tire and pit him/her on the right side and see what happens. Apart from that, happy policing officer!
