  1. Just follow the flow of the traffic (match their speed) or you can use an Xbox 360 Controller for Windows to make driving smoother.
  2. Tough Choice... Ford LTD Plymouth Fury 1970's Ford
  3. No problem, if you have any problems with installing or if you experience crashing issues don't hesitate to make a topic (but make sure you've searched it first so there are no duplicate topics) or send me a private message. Myself or the other members will be happy to help. Have fun.
  4. Haha that's okay, we were all new once so ask away. Some cars may have a pre-set flash pattern but most won't, ELS gives you the option to change the flash pattern out of a bunch of pre-set patterns. You can do this by pressing "Alt+M" and then using the "U" and "I" keys to change the primary (main lightbar, other lights) and secondary (traffic advisor) flash patterns.
  5. There is no-way of flicking between the two without swapping them out however what you could do is have multiple game directories. Just copy the GTA IV folder to another location (or the same) and rename it to something else. For example, you could have "GTA IV - British Cars" and "GTA IV - LCPD Cars" both in the Rockstar Games folder and you can just load up which one you want to play with. I myself have done this and have about 6 different game directories.
  6. No problem, and yes you can. I couldn't recommend any packs myself as I use different car models with custom skins on them. Really it's up to you and your taste on what cars you want to go with. I noticed you are from Manchester so perhaps you'd like to roll with But as I said before, it's just personal taste. Just have a browse through the downloads section and see what you like.
  7. That is add-on is called a trainer, you can get it here. However before you start all this modding, remember to update your game to the latest version and make backups of the game! You never know when you might accidently mess something up and have to reinstall the game because you forgot to make backups.
  8. Looks like a random frame-rate drop. You may need to upgrade your PC or stop programs from running in the background while you are playing.
  9. Hi there, Welcome to the forums. If you would like to enhance your LCPD:FR experience I'd definitely recommend using Braveheart's Policing Script as it adds a whole new array of features to LCPD:FR, such as new call-outs. ELS (Emergency Lighting System) is a simple drag and drop into your GTA IV main folder however you will have to have ELS enabled models (which there are plenty of) for the lights to work. Have a browse through the downloads section and I'm sure you'll find some stuff you'll like. As for installing all this stuff you can either do a Google Search or just use the search option on the forums to find what you are looking for. Hope this helps.
  10. I've done a ton of these but what the hell, here's mine. We don't have any City or State Agencies (Beside the AFP - Australian Federal Police) so I mostly see these rolling around all of Western Australia. Perth, Western Australia General Duties Newer Units, WAPOL recently bought multiple Subaru WRX cars to be fitted as unmarked or general duties. The lightbar can be seen fitted on the dashboard. Highway Patrol Special Units And the Police Helicopter of course! The uniform usually consists of a light blue shirt and dark blue pants however most officers wear reflective tactical vests.
  11. You've got to edit the VisualSettings in the TBOGT and TLAD PC folders along with the one in the main PC folder to get rid of the dark lights.
  12. Wail doesn't loop very well and seems quite high pitched, also as already stated there is already multiple versions of this siren, I myself even made one. Other than that it sounds pretty good.
  13. I don't have a spare account but it's not expensive, just buy it... I got it when it $15, I still enjoy it. It's really fun when you have friends to play it with.
  14. Set the radio station to Independence FM and then enable the "Mobile Radio" option with Simple Native Trainer, now you have music in emergency vehicles and on foot.
  15. Yes it will work, but you'll still have to use the keyboard for almost everything. I'd suggest trying to get a feel for how driving on the keyboard and mouse is otherwise you'll be stumbling around your keyboard and controller trying to do different things.
  16. Never got into Most Wanted, always been a Hot Pursuit guy (So I can be the cop, lol) but that trailer was funny none the less.
