  1. Yeah, if you recently updated to a new Windows 10 build (within 10 days as it is supposed to automatically delete), you'll have a ~30GB folder called windows.old containing the old version (just further explanation of the first part of the above post).
  2. I take it you tried not running RPH as an admin? I know I've seen a message saying not to run it as admin unless necessary. It should only be necessary if you are running GTA V as an admin (and Steam, I suppose, I don't have the Steam version). This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  3. I don't know how complete this is, but: http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Street_Names From that, you can pretty easily copy/paste into your program of choice.
  4. It’s kind of a general practice to include a link to the story if you’re going to post a news topic.

  6. Will posted a gallery image in GTA V Galleries
  7. Well, not exactly. You can't actually install anything, you can only view the PS4 files.
  8. Yes, you just add the arguments to the "<Vehicle " part. So <Vehicle livery="1" extra_1=true>police2</Vehicle> would make police 2 spawn with extra_1 enabled and livery number 1. The liveries for the Maverick are preset because the Police Maverick has two of them - one of which is an ambulance. It would be odd to request helicopter backup and have an air ambulance show up.
  9. You can add the livery flag to any vehicle. It doesn't have to be there in the default file.
  10. You can also do it with LSPDFR 0.3 in Backup.xml. You just need to use the livery flag (<Vehicle livery="1">police</Vehicle>)
  11. That isn't exactly possible, since Rockstar is owned by Take Two. They are not just the publisher, they are the parent company. Unless Rockstar somehow manages to buy itself out from Take Two, it just isn't happening.
  12. In New York, the State Troopers are the local police for many small villages. Where I live, they have a barracks right around the corner, so if you call 911 here a Trooper would be responding. The only other agency with jurisdiction here is the County Sheriff, and I barely ever see them around; we don't have a town or village police department.
  13. Well, I'm sure there's a cost/benefit aspect to it. Pay for the cadets, the cost of the academy facilities, the cost of the instructors/trainers, supplies, etc; it all adds up. There's a point where the benefits of longer training just don't outweigh the costs. Would a longer training program have prevented this situation? There really isn't any way to know.
  14. I can't speak for other departments, but the New York State Police academy is 6 months long followed by 10 weeks with an FTO and a 1 year probationary period. In that time, you learn everything from case law, to self defense, to proper use of force. You live at the academy all week long (mon-fri) and get 1095 hours of training. You also are considered employed at that point and get paid a salary. To be honest, if any police department has an academy less than 6 months long they probably do deserve bad press for not properly training their officers. Of course funding is always an issue, smaller departments might not be able to afford putting everyone through such a long training program.
  15. That lake is actually used in GTA Online as a crash site for one of the Smuggler's Run supply missions.
  16. Ah, right, I suppose that would be the "whatever reason." I think they just got lucky with those being the same as GTA IV.
  17. They were found pretty quickly: For whatever reason they were not included in ELS.
  18. It's a multiplayer model, there are few custom ones used in the random events that happen in the police station.
  19. Actually, based on experience, no one seems to care about what goes on behind the scenes, like the pursuit logic. You even imply that you think LSPDFR is too simple and doesn't have enough in your post, but LSPDFR basically rewrites the entire GTA V AI. There is a lot to it that no one notices because it just feels natural in game (which is the point). Hell, one the first trailers we released for LSPDFR showed a bunch of cops actually pursuing a suspect instead of instantly murdering them like default GTA V, and it was called out for just being done with a trainer. But everything in that trailer was LSPDFR, and you would not have been able to replicate the AI behavior without it.
  20. I have many things I could say in response to some of the things you mentioned, but I just want to focus on this specifically because it's something that bothers me quite a bit. Sam, LMS, and Cyan have spent countless hours (literally thousands) creating LSPDFR (and RPH, in LMS's case). Here's a screenshot from Sam's Steam profile: So, yeah, saying that someone spent more time creating car mods than LSPDFR is just wrong.
  21. I know one issue is there isn't any filter to see all featured images, so just removing old features is not an easy task.
  22. We don't do account resets, but we do remove warning points that were issued prior to when we started setting points to expire. I've done this for you already.
  23. In addition to the above, you should just need to update your trainer.ini file to have it show in that menu. You can also spawn by vehicle name in the trainer, and just type the name of the file (LSPDMountains) to make sure the vehicle is installed properly.
  24. If you installed anything in your mods folder, it's likely an issue there. Make sure you have the latest update.rpf in there. Moving as this isn't related to LSPDFR. Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related. Please post in the correct location in the future.
