Time for a change.
IMO, SR:3 has a more shitty driving system than GTA:IV. And I, expect more people to back me up on this than on your idea :P

GTA V: NEW Trailers Video and Discussion
If it ever comes out on PC (if at all!), I promise you'll see something out of this world in just 3 years with the help of ENB. These are stock graphics screenshots.

Your signature really justifies what you're saying. "Defending myself because I already upload videos which you're criticizing." LOL!

Agreed. BUT...if someone has the capability to model something from scratch, I believe its not a hard task for him to UV map or modify his own work (like you said "mix and match"). I agree on your point, but at the same time disagree that you can ignore the fact that one has done more work than the former. Thats how this world works. And that is why, promotions are given to a selected few, not all. But anyways, if you speak in a more general manner, yes we're all modders basically.

Still, there's a significant difference between the two. You can't discount a modeler's hard work and compare it with...well..you know what. And that is where the problem occurs. There are too many "modders" right now. Almost all active members are making their own cars (putting a lightbar atop is not a "hard" task anymore; thats the bitter truth). So, if oldschool modders and newbie modders, all are modding, who is the consumer here? A handful of those who don't get into modding for various reasons. Another bitter truth- most of them prefer EVI/BxBugs'/Cj24's accurate cars. Rest of the downloaded mods just sit on the HDD collecting dust. Yes, there are people who have obtained their favorite setups from unpopular modders, but its a minority case. At any given point in time, a non-modder person posting his random lcpdfr screenshot (most of the times) features an EVI/BxBugs'/Cj24's model. Yeah, this is one advantage of having so many models around, tbh. Scripting is something else. You can't really compare it to the vehicle modding scene as of now since most people stay away from it due to the Xenoglossophobia. Just post a proper tutorial on coding and see how your community team has a hard time keeping 0.95 RC3 release in limelight overshadowed by other script mods overwhelming the downloads section (just kidding, just kidding...). Gosh, but people do learn quickly. Thats what makes us humans the most intelligent species on this planet.

Supply and demand huh? Well as for demand, take a look at this thread: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Read through the first page. Go on to the last two pages too if ya like. You see a NYPD/LAPD or a CVPI with Liberty? Nope. But they're being released. So, IMHO, demand isn't exactly meeting supply. People are making things nobody is seeking anymore. As for the "modder will only use what they can get access to" thing, its not necessary to keep making things. Like I said, I don't know why they just keep releasing stuff nobody wants. If you don't have something new to make, don't make it at all. Whats the point in making the same thing over and over again?

^ You call yourself a modifier yet your tagline contains the word "innovation"? Impressive.

IMO, its good in a way. Just see the media section; so many people keep posting hours long gameplay videos. I mwean wtf? Everyone has this game and this mod so everyone knows what it looks and feels like. Its not doing any good to anyone. Its another thing if a specific guy is doing commentary and he is "funny" at times and thats why he's being subbed over and over but that would be a rare case. Right now, all I see is "Plz sub me, I beg u!!!", "A vid I made of LCPDFR. Its pretty impressive if you ask me. Hit the like button below.", "Y I no get more subs? :'(" and shit like that. IMHO, its basically almost useless trash being accumulated over at YT, because there's no point in uploading these "HD" and big file-size videos as only either their own clan members or unemployed, idle people around the world bother to take a glance at them. Yes, they do hit like/subscribe without even watching the video, most of them do it just because the uploader's a friend.

tbh, I'd prefer the Vapid with stock wheels. Right now, its more like a Crown Vic with a different body. Even if you want hubcaps, use generic Washington's, they fit better. But then again, is your mod and its your choice.
