Taking Skins requests
You can make skins even if people don't request them. Try starting off with easy ones, like black and whites (such as LAPD and CHP), and then move on to more complex designs, like North Carolina Highway Patrol or Alaska State Troopers. Also, make sure you download fonts such as Serpentine and Eurostile bold. These are really common on American police cars.

[REL] Ladder Control Mod
Couldn't agree more with this. And if he says that he only charges to pay for zmodeler, that means one sale would cover 5-6 months of zmodeler...

LSPD Texture Pack #2 - ELS Version (4K)
For the next release, I plan on adding textures for both the 2015 Charger and the 2013 Impala. I will consider adding K9 variants once more K9 themed v=models are released. As for plates on the 2015 Tahoe, the template I used did not include areas assigned to license plates. As far as I know, there are a few models already released that include plates as part of the model itself.

Can't spawn addon cars after update
Since the Bkier DLC update, I am unable to spawn my addon cars. Both the RPH console and trainer say that the addons are invalid models. I have added the models to Patchday11, and put the .meta entries in mpstunt, the way I did before the update. The cars that replaced vehicles (ie police, police2, etc.) spawn normally. Any ideas? Thanks

[Research/WIP] Custom Light Patterns through carcols.ymt
The method suggested by rekram doesn't work for all vehicles. A fair amount of vehicles only show the equipment, not the "siren"

[Research/WIP] Custom Light Patterns through carcols.ymt
Is there any easy way to figure out which siren on a car corresponds to which lighting fixture (ie the lights in the grill are sirenX)?

Added Vehicles Cause Crash on Startup
For a while now, my game has been crashing on startup if I add too many vehicles (usually 8-10). Since the update, I can only add one vehicle without the game crashing on start. I have tried changing the vehicle, have checked the carvar and vehicle.meta entries, etc. I've been putting the .metas in mpstunt and have been putting the actual vehicle files in patchday11. NOTE: My game works perfectly when I don't add more than one vehicle, so I am certain that this is the problem. Does anyone know a fix?

GTA 5 crashes when...
Are you editing any .metas? My game crashes on startup if there is an error in one of them

Are you using a mods folder?

Arrest Manager (Grab Peds, More Jail Points, Prisoner Transport & more)
Since it was updated, this plugin has started to cause CTD's. I've included the log. For the most recent crash, I dropped off a suspect at a jail location, and when I chose the option to have another officer take care of the suspect, it briefly (3-4 seconds) showed the clip of the officer opening the door, and then the game crash. I hope this is something on my end that can be fixed...I can't play the game without this plugin anymore!RagePluginHook.log

GTA V Crashes when using modified dlclist
I seem to get this issue when I add too many dlc's. Same thing happens with too many addon cars (vs replacement). Try taking out a couple dlc folders without changing dlclist.meta

Share your LSPDFR setup?
This sounds like it could be a really cool concept, especially for those who don't like taking the time to make their own custom setup. With the OpenIV packages, I bet this could be easily done.It would take five clicks to install an entire department.

Los Santos County Sheriff: 4K Textures
This pack, unlike many others, has earned a 5-star review. The attention to detail is outstanding! I've got to say, the color scheme is perfect, especially for these models. The design as a whole is original, and, without a doubt, improves any game that it is used in. Like someone else said, number variation would be a nice addition. However, as a skin maker myself, I know what a pain it can be to go back and add different variants. Maybe keep that in mind for the next pack you make. As far as the future of this pack goes, I would recommend making stealth versions of some of the cars. PM me if you want to see a quick and easy way to do this to any car. Overall, fantastic work. I hope to see more packs like this in the future. You've come a long way!

I've Noticed a Few Issues...
Before we get started here, I just want to point out that I am NOT a staff member, nor am I trying to act like I am. I'm just a LSPDFR community member giving his opinion. So a few months ago, I posted an article that I wrote titled "Please take the time to read this". In it, I discussed how a lot of people can be a bit "selfish" on here and that LSPDFR was lacking in the community values department. I will say, I've noticed a positive change. But I'm not here to praise said change. At least not in this article. The focus of this article is on some of the "stuff" going on here lately that I don't exactly think is making this place better. So buckle up and enjoy this rant. The first (and WORST) thing I have noticed in the community is that everyone flips out when someone else isn't credited, or someone converts a car or part without permission, or a texture is edited without permission, etc. In all honesty, it's immature. LSPDFR is a mod for a video game. This isn't a corporate world (at least it shouldn't be). Selling mods is ridiculous. Paying for mods is arguably worse, especially when you get mad after people criticize your decision. Posting pictures in the gallery of that model you just bought makes you a loser braggart (isn't there a rule against this?). And finally, complaining about someone not crediting or editing something you made is childish. I'll admit, I have sent people messages because they've edited textures I've made. And I regret doing that. The guy clearly wasn't the best at editing textures, and I probably crushed his hopes and dreams by asking for him to taking it down. From this point on, I encourage people to use and edit my work as they see fit. Seriously, feel free to edit my stuff and use it. Now, the above isn't necessarily okay to do. If you release it, it's actually pretty illegal, unless you have permission. I'm not saying that it's alright to take people's stuff and reuse it. Credits are pretty important, too. All I'm saying is that if you make and release something, especially a DEV part, don't be the plagiarism police. Sometimes, it's good to give and not ask for anything in return. Back to the gist. We (mod makers) often forget that we are making stuff for a video game. More often, we forget the reason we are taking the time to make mods. I have two reasons: to improve the game for myself, and to improve the game for someone else. It's selfish and selfless. I think there's a good balance present. Like everyone else that uploads a mod, I hope that it's popular. However, I try not to check to see how many downloads I've gotten every 10 minutes. That's a bit over the top if you ask me. If people like it, great! If not, I'll try again in a few weeks. If someone does better than me, I don't attack their file with poor reviews and picky comments. I download that $#*% and try it myself! Now lets say I upload a file and it's popular. Then I see in the gallery that someone has edited it and is showing off their creation. Should I say something? If it's not positive, then now. Let it be. If they upload without permission, I may send them a short PM, but that's really it. I'm not losing sleep over a glorified PNG. And neither should anyone else. These wars that I have seen in comment sections are pathetic. People need to get over themselves. If that happens, I bet we'll see a friendlier community. So I'm going to wrap this up with some tips for members, whether you are an uploader or not. If you consider using these, thanks. If not, whatever. Be nice to everyone. If someone sends you a PM/comments with a question, at least point them toward the answer if you don't want to tell them directly. Upload for the benefit of others, not for the benefit of yourself. Don't be the guy who stops someone from giving to the community (no matter how rubbish their file is). Help others with constructive criticism and reviews. Don't say something like "nice try lol". If you have talents, use them. Stand up for other members. Pay attention to the rules and guidelines. Don't brag. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. If as little as a quarter of the community stays by half of these, there will be visible improvement. I just want to thank you for reading. I hope I've given you a new perspective. -HBengtson
