I had the same issue as you a while ago. The method you used also worked in my case. If you would like to you can rename the 'm_y_cop' model in TBoGTpcmodelscdimages and TLADpcmodelscdimages to m_y_cop_epi (for episodes, backup of course). Doing this allows much easier modding as you only need to mod one model file (the main componentpeds.img) which applies to both games. Cheers.

GTA IV likes to crash (after a while) full stop. It was poorly ported to PC and as a result is not very well optimised. Cheers.

When you finish all of the GTA V police and emergency peds do you think you could release the bike (take your time). It looks badass, it's probably the only one with an ALPR setup. Cheers.

The fire truck does have a separate air horn which is different to the police and ambo air horn. Cheers.

I would eventually like to be able to have different sirens for different vehicles (police, EMS, and fire trucks) as well, but if it were to create more issues with scripting in addition with more game instability then it would be unfeasible. Cheers.

If hard drive space is an issue you can always backup all of your downloaded mods on to an external hard drive. I have never had the need to delete and downloaded mods. Cheers.
