Scripts are easier to install then cars and sirens. For scripts you drag and drop them into the main IV directory or scripts folder inside the IV directory. For vehicles/peds/sirens/weapons etc. You need either SparkIV or OpenIV.

Do you have simple native trainer? If so you need to disable the keys in the 2nd options menu.

Disable the Trainer keys in the second options menu, then the lights will work.

Fraps makes IV lag a lot because of how it runs, I recommend using bandicam, it uses a lot less memory and lets IV run better. Here is a link if you are interested: http://www.bandicam.com/ Nice video! Joey

Same here, I think I found an uzi in the trunk once... maybe adding like a weapon drugs or even a body could make it different. I don't even bother searching the trucks anymore.

As you said, it costs a lot more, you need a bit more knowledge (installing it, possible errors etc) and it takes longer. With a console you put the disk in, and boom you can play, no errors, no graphics/texture loss, bottom line is its less stress and way easier to do. The only thing you are sacrificing are the sweet mods that are available on the PC.
