Get rid of Traffic Light Fix, Mechanics Mod, and revert to Braveheart 2.1. You don't need the Radar Mod either, as the IVDashcam has one. Don't know about Deadly Wrecks Mod...could be an issue too. As GTAIVCode3 said, use ELS 5, not 6. I would limit ELS and high poly cars to Noose, Nstockade, Pstockade, and FBI exclusivly as well. Good day, DrDetroit

That cop flat out assaulted that guy simply because he didn't like the guy pointing out that it took for ever to get to the call. Cops like that give good cops a bad name. Probably Braveheart 2.2 Beta (if you're using it). That was crashing my game constantly after 45min-1hr. I reverted back to 2.1 and I'm not having any crashing issues any longer. Good day, DrDetroit

My laptop runs it just fine, yours should too (although I am looking at a nice gaming desktop for optimal performance.). You have to hit ENTER twice to select the specific options. Other than that, not sure why you can't change the settings though, you have plenty of memory. Try a google search. Good day, DrDetroit

Try deleting and reinstalling LCPDFR and/or the Braveheart script (if you have it...if you don't you should get it...many more call-outs and more diverse call-outs than LCPDFR currently offers..should get the police helper for bait car scenarios and other goodies.). I went back one version of Bravehearts due to the newer script crashing my game. 1st Bug; Never experienced this. My chases are usually epic. 2nd Bug: Depends on the shoot out and where the call-out originated (LCPDFR or Braveheart call-out). Sometimes there are a few cops, some have many cops and some don't have any cops. I can usually call for backup during a gun fight, even when the call is Braveheart. 3rd Bug: The call-outs are random and you may have some quite time. Go setup a speed trap or harass some hoods in Bohan (take firepower if yo patrol there)...see what happens. Sorry couldn't be of more help bud. Good day, DrDetroit

Good point. You could be correct about that. Not to beat a dead horse, but again, it's NOT a F/A-18 (real or imagined) and doesn't even look like a F/A-18 in any way (other than they both have wings). Anybody who has a passing interest in military aircraft what-so-ever can tell that much. It's a F-16 with twin tail setup. Good day, DrDetroit

Nope. F/A-18s are very distinctive...so is the F-16. It's basically an F-16, with a dual tail setup....unless it's a strange angle and there is another F-16 in a close spread formation and it just looks like the the A/C closest to the camera has two tails. Don't think so though. The F-16 tail sits on top of the engine, and you can see that the first tail is on the outboard side of the engine (F-16s are single engine). Anyhow, kinda goofy. Maybe it's some new variant that was scrambled outta Nellis or Area-51. Who the hell knows. Although the only reason to have two tails is because you have two engines, which is a Navy requirement...so why use some non-existant model? The US Navy don't fly F-16s, and the US Air Force don't generally use twine engine fighter aircraft (few exceptions granted). I guess we'll find out soon enough...ok, not soon enough. It's at GTA4-mods.com in the scripts download area (don't have link handy), made by HippyCommunist (communisthippy...one or the other). Thing is, your car will get jacked more than anybody else. Try vehiclecleanupV2, also at GTA4-mods.com, way better crime module. I go into all the back alleys, dirt roads, and other areas you don't really check while in a cruiser. It's absolutely amazing how many cool areas are never to be seen except on foot, many I've never even seen before, even though been playing the game for awhile. GTA4 LC is an amazing place...the details are fantastic. So is the action...lots to do, lots a AI to bust. Been using the 1st person mod, and wow. That is a totally different experience all together as well. Amazing how a change in perspective changes everything, kinda like life. Good day, DrDetrot

No, you're thinking of CommunistHippy random crime script. This is not that script...I have that one also and I got sick of being carjacked every time I stopped my cruiser. This one has a gang or gangs, that roam and jack cars, attack other gangs and cops. I've not been carjacked like the Communist Hippy script. This one is called vehiclecleanupv2...not the random crime script you referenced from CommunistHippy. Good day, DrDetroit Yup, that is a different script (see above post). I had the same thing happen with the HippyCommunist random crime script also...all the damn time. I was giving out a ticket and my car was stolen and the car and the guy were long gone by time I could give chase on foot. Funny thing, about 2-minutes later an AI cop car rolls by and the guy whom stole my car is in the back seat! I couldn't believe they caught him down the street without me even giving chase. I thought that was pretty cool. Anyhow, don't confuse the HippyCommunist script with this one....not the same. Good day, DrDetroit

I found the above referenced mod at GTA4-mods.com and it's pretty cool. These dudes will randomly roll-up and do random carjacking (and crimes)...sometimes they get out and start shooting RPGs at the cops or other gang members. So far seems like a pretty neat mod that blends very well with LCPDFR. I forgot I had installed it last night and I was quite surprised...actually more like "what the hell was THAT!!" when the action kicked in. I went on patrol and while I was handing out a speeding ticket, a carload of gang members fly up in a Caddy and car jack some dude about a half block away from me. I approach the scene on foot and an Escalade rolls up outta no where, and these chicks get out and start shooting up the place trying to kill the car jackers. One guy eventually pulls out a RPG and wipes out an entire block of cars...looked like hell on earth and cleanup was hell after me and Noose backup took-out the fools. Looked like the Highway of Death from Desert Storm...crazy shit! Anyhow, check it out, it was a lot of fun. You may be pleasantly surprised. It's a script, so uninstall is simple if it don't work well. I don't have the link on-hand but it's called vehiclecleanupv2. Good day, DrDetroit
