  1. Those are the cars you pull over for being unsafe. Especially the rusted crap driving around, belching black smoke, no plates, missing front quarter panels (or quarter panels bent outwards). Those guys get my special attention. I hear ya though. To each his own. Good day, DrDetroit
  2. I have a few nice Gang Task Force Buffalos, one is dark blue, it's one of four in the livery. Another is white with LCPD Gang Squad all over it, and both are slicktops. Really nice skins, low poly and non-els by Ekalb I believe. Good day, DrDetroit
  3. I get a tiny bit of lag every once in awhile, if I leave it on. But only when it's active, not when I turn it off. I only use it when doing traffic duty, or when pulling a car over. Well worth it. Good day, DrDetroit
  4. I will try that with v6. Thanks. Good day, DrDetroit Eh...don't like only 20 cars out of 80-90 in game. You'd have to run 4 Traffic Flows at the same time, after manually adding all the cars. Imagine there'd be massive lag doing that. If you keep Traffic Load at or under 20 cars per cycle you'll not have any texture loss and all cars will spawn. DrDetroit
  5. OoooooWeee! That is nice! Good day, DrDetroit
  6. Probably have to manually remove the registry lines before reinstalling. I had to do that via a tutoria I found online the last install of GTAIV I did. Google, something like "GTAIV reinstall will not work". Sucks cause I had to download GTAIV twice, back-to-back, and it takes like 4hours to download the damn thing. Good luck! DrDetroit
  7. You are probably using ELSv6, try using v5 instead. The earlier version is far more stable and less likley to cause the game to crash. TIP: Beware of modding the police and police2 slots (police3 and police4 as well), as those cars spawn the most, using a high-poly ELS car can cause severe texture loss and crashing as well if used in those first two police slots. I only mod my nStockade and policeb slots for my fav high poly ELS rides. No texture loss and no crashing since those do not spawn as often. If you have a really fast CPU (quad core) and 16+gig RAM, you could possibly mod all slots with high-poly ELS cars...just know that it can cause problems in-game. - You'll know when you get the texture bug, where all the roads and buildings start to disappear in-game. Also, I do mod all of my police slots (police, police2, police3 and police4, aswell as noose slot), but I do not use ELS cars and I keep those cars low to mid-poly vehicles (under 1-1.5Meg WFT file). TIP: When modding cars, try modding one, then run the game for a few minutes to make sure it works ok. Sometimes a car is just not compatible and will crash your game. Mods I use: LCPDFR (of course) Braveheart 2.3 Vdh Police Helper 1.1.0 Vdh Tow Script Vdh Med/coroner Real Time Cycyle (v4), in lieu of an ENB Farnsworth Business Tycoon Mod ELSv5 PSS Radar Script (not IV DashCam - too laggy for me). Strobes Longer Days Mod Traffic Load (better than Traffic Flow - Traffic Flow you will see the same 20-cars over and over. Not with Traffic Load, you get them all!) Less Overtaking ALPR (automatic licesnse plate reader). First Person Mod Various Ped mods, new cop textures, ect. Good luck, DrDetroit
  8. Pull up to the scene and before you get out of the car hit CTRL+Z and you'll spawn a barrier behind your vehicle. It will stop AI from running into you and your suspect/victim. Good day, DrDetroit
  9. If you reinstalled Windows, HD and Vid card, and that is when your issues started, must be a driver issue. Also, maybe try installing Dx11 as you're new vid card may run better with the updated Dx. Good luck! DrDetroit
  10. ENB's are notorious for huge lag issues for many. If you uninstalled the ENB and it ran fine, then it's obvious that you can't run that (or probably any) ENB's without adding lag to your game. Use RTCv4 or something similar to cure lag. Also, you should have Dx11, why run Dx9? Good day, DrDetroit
  11. I use Real Time Cycle v4, which give a nice bloom effect to the lights, enhances the ambient lighting and weather cycles, but I don't notice any performance loss with it, like I do with other ENBs. I think it's available at GTA4-mods.com. Good day, DrDetroit
  12. Try updating your vid card driver OR if updated already, roll back your driver back to a previous release. You should be running smooth as silk, has to be a driver issue far as I can tell. Google your current driver and see if others are having the same issue. Good day, DrDetroit
  13. Put it right on your chest, like Superman. That'd be cool dude...totally dope! :-0 Good day, DrDetroit
  14. Strange question to ask. To answer it; yes, it's a pretty good username. Good day, DrDetroit
  15. If they need a ride on my shift, it's either in a prisoner transport or coroner's bag. Good day, DrDetroit
  16. You should be ok running it smooth at medium settings. Have you tried lowered your in-game settings? Traffic density under 20, view distance under 30, Shadows low or off, water quality low, texture quality medium, reflections medium. Also, some mods will hit your FPS, like ENBs and HD graphic textures. DashCamIV and SNT lags my game too, so I make any game changes in SNT then I disable it in my folder so it does not lag my game (I only use it to slow down in-game time from 2sec per minute to 7-sec per minute with longer days mod anyhow). Post up if anything works for you. Good day, DrDetroit
  17. Check to see if you have latest Netframe installed. It's been awhile, but when I first installed LCPDFR I had the same problem. I remember having to update my Netframe to version 5 (something like that) and I had to use Xliveless instead of Dsounds.dll. Anyhow, the Netframe requirements I believe is in the readme or in the troubleshooting pinned topics. Also, the answer is available here somewhere, I do remember finding the solution with the LCPDFR search function. Good luck, DrDetroit
  18. Yea, Game Booster does very little. It actually makes my system lag when I run it. I manually shutoff unneeded processes and applications, Try using MemTurbo4, which is very effective. Set the Auto Recover Level to 55m and Target Free Ram to 55m as well (as close to those numbers as you can get the sliders). Then Apply and run the Deep RAM Scrub and after that Optimize button. In the Config settings Deselect the option "Don't Auto Recover Unless CPU is Below XX". It cured my setup of all texture loss/popping and increases FPS. You'll notice that you'll get at least an extra 10%-15% RAM and will cure most of the issue that have to do with the memory leaks GTAIV has. Good luck, DrDetroit
  19. EDIT: Just seen your edited OP, not sure what the deal is. Seems far more than a missing ASI loader. Download and install a scripthook (1.7.1.7 is the latest). http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83 I think LLCPDFR auto installs all that stuff, so not sure why you're without, but anyhow, that should be all you need to get the game working. Just drop the files into your GTAIV main directory and you should be good to go. I play the Steam version of GTAIV-EFLC, so my main game directory is C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLC. Remember, read the readme file. Good day, DrDetroit
  20. Nice! Does the new version just add support for the older scripthook or will it work with the newer scripthook 1.7.1.7? Should folks whom have no issues with 1.0.0 still use the new version....is there new content? Thanks again Abraxas. You're mods and support is top notch stuff. Good day, DrDetroit
  21. Mods are easy to install once you have LCPDF up and running. Most of the mods have two files that you simply copy/past to your scripts folder, located in your main GTAIV or EFLC directory. Others you simply copy to your main game directory (not scripts folder). Cars are just as easy to mod, but you need a 3rd party installer called SparkIV or OpenIV (SparkIV is much easier to use). Open the vehicle file up and import the new car files, rebuild, save and your done. It's pretty easy to do, especially if you have been PC gaming for awhile and familiar with modding games in general. Even if you're not, it's really easy to do. Good day, DrDetroit
  22. Braveheart 2.3 Vdh PH 1.0.0b Vdh Coroners mod Vdh Towing Farnsworth tycoon mod Hippy Communist Robbery mod Strobes mod ELSv5 - a few cars only - no AI Less Overtake mod Longer Days mod PSS mod ALPR mod Didn't realize all the mods i'm using till I just listed them. Runs smooth none-the-less. Good day, DrDetroit
  23. Did you mod your police and police2 cars with high-poly ELS cars? If so that is probably why...that and/or traffic load and traffic fix will do this if settings are too high (in the .ini file). Good news is with no buildings or roads, I bet your frame rates are through the roof! Good day, DrDetroit
  24. Like willpv said. You can cuff both, then aim at the suspect 1 and press F9 or F10 (never tried F9 with two suspects). Then aim at suspect 2 and press F9 or F10. You'll get two transports...or two passengers. Good day, DrDetroit
