  2. The ELS.ini file which can be found in the main GTA directory if you're using ELS, it has all the instructions you need in it.
  3. Please do not double post, instead there's an "edit" button on your posts, please use that instead, I'll merge your two posts for you. In regard to the TrackIR, I've heard positive things about it from the Flight Sim community, I however do not play any games that would render the technology useful.
  4. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by G17 Media staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  5. You need to post this in the Support section, I'm closing this thread, as we have a troubleshooter you have to follow, it could also help if you read the stickies in the Support section before posting.
  6. Yeah, it's pinned so it's easier to find, this topic was actually created to accomodate the need for organizing Multiplayer games outside the official MP group, as well as any other MP group on the site.
  7. I see no problem with "bumping" this topic, it has no real effect as it's pinned, the double-posting seems fine as well, as it's actually relevant, and would have easily been missed if it was edited into your previous post.
  8. ELS V6 adds that, as does DAS which is designed for multiplayer games.
  9. It's nice that you want to inform us, but we can't really use the information for anything when you don't have any images to show. I'm looking forward to seeing some images of the project, it's always nice with new projects.
  10. I use Sony Vegas, it's a pain at times.
  11. You'll need to edit the render settings, how and were depends on what software you're using.
  12. You'll lose quality when you compress, compressing means loosing data / detail. Your file size seems a bit big, my 40 minute episodes are usually around 2 gigabytes, I render my videos in .mp4 in 720p with a bitrate of 600k ( or 6 mill, I'm not at home atm, so I can't check). Depending on the resolution you render in fraps, you might want to consider rendering in 480p instead of HD resolutions, I should do that as my fraps recordings are closer to SD than HD.
  13. I started out using non-els cars: First ELS cars:
  14. Cops who cannot carry the responsibility given to them should no longer be in the job.
  15. This thread is for organizing "right here, right now" LCPDFR Multiplayer games. It'll be up to those playing to agree on rules and content used, as well as organizing it, this thread is not associated with any MP group that's currently active on the site. It is not organized by LCPDFR staff. The creation of this thread happened after the issue was brought to light. A few tips: You need a legal copy of the game in order to play MP You need to use Dsound, and not Xliveless as ASI loader It's a very bad idea to use "taxi bug fixes", they tend to spawn vehicles that only you can see Using ELS and high poly cars may cause frequent crashes (as known from single player) Using the LCPDFR.com official TeamSpeak (or any TS for that matter) is greatly encouraged, both MP groups utilizes TeamSpeak. Using DAS (Dispatch Assistant System) is also greatly encouraged: http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=799. As stated, those are tips, not rules or requirements, it's up to those who are playing to agree upon how the game is played. We have two MP channels on TeamSpeak, if more than two games are set up, those who get there first will have the TS channels. Have fun playing.
  16. Welcome to the site, I'm always delighted when people try and do their own research, that's how all of us learned what we learned, or by simple trial and error. We'll be looking forward to your video(s)
  17. You've posted this in the wrong section, this belongs in the "random" section, I'll move it. You should be able to post an image by using the advanced text editor (the switch in the top left corner), and using the image icon in the second row.

  19. You will have to buy either GTA IV or Episodes from Liberty City, there's several different ways to obtain a legal copy of the game, I suggest you try and Google it, we cannot provide you with links to a pirated version of the game, as well as we do not provide support for pirated/cracked versions, I'm going to close this topic, as it does not belong in this section, and the before mentioned no piracy links statement.
  20. I'm quite sure some users would not like to be listed in that context, I hope you've asked them if it's okay.
  21. It will always lag when fraps is recording, unless you have a massively powerful machine, nothing will change that.
