  1. You'll have to compromise quality for an increase in framerate, the only other option would be to upgrade your computer parts.
  2. Have you tried running the game as Administrator?
  3. You've posted this in the wrong section, I'll move it to the GTA IV > Discussion section for you.
  4. You've posted this in the wrong section, it belongs in the GTA>discussion section, I'll move it.
  5. Our cars are roughly as quick as the CVPI, Vauxhalls police-spec Astra comes with a 1,2 diesel engine, that's the most common cop car in Britain, the Mondeo's I've linked to has a 2,5 Turbo engine that tops out at 235 kph/ 147mph. It comes down to how the force is structured, the Astras mentioned are only "response" cars, that means that they pretty much stick to responding to 999 calls, due to the unique way the UK police forces are structured. I'm guessing it's the same story with the Prius. BMW's are very common as well, especially the 5 series in either the 525D or 535D spec.
  6. It depends on a lot of things, most European police forces has some form of Mobile Data Terminal they can use to check persons, vehicles etc. There as some checks that can't be carried out over the MDT, such as what the prior arrests/convictions are for, your immigration status, what grounds a European/International arrest warrant are, there's more, but it varies from country to country. It also comes down to the legislation, here in Denmark the cops can stop whoever they like, they are not required to have probable cause as the Yanks call it, you are also required to identify yourself upon request by a police officer, you will be arrested until your identity is known, drivers are also required to have their license on them. There's no "normal" stop, it depends on the reason for the stop, a stop for a traffic offence is much different that those of a suspected burglar (usually done on cars from eastern Europe), it also comes down to how the persons behave and respond to the officer(s). Furthermore, Yank coppers seem to rely on FIT's for checking suspected impaired drivers, whereas most, if not all European police forces does so using a field breath analyser, officers trained in FIT's can also carry those out if officers deem the driver to be impaired by other substances than alcohol. The UK police relies on a evidential breath analyser to provide a accurate reading of the BAC, whereas they are deemed too inaccurate by Danish police to be used here, instead they are required to provide a sample of blood, the sample is taken by a doctor at either the police station, or hospital, depending on who's contracted for the job. This method has also lead to several "double" charges, where habitual drug users are also charged with §54, driving under the impairment of substances other than alcohol as well as the standard §53, driving under the impairment of alcohol, as drugs such as cannabis shows up in blood samples approx. three weeks after the drugs was consumed.
  7. I'll whip out my "Flickr" account: (warning European vehicles, Yanks may vomit upon seeing these brilliant motors)
  8. You've posted in the wrong section, this belongs in LCPDFR > discussion, I'll go ahead and move it., As Original Light stated, there's no way to change that, you can change the shortcut for "definition" in the keyboard bindings option menu.
  9. That's a Fusion. The 2012 Charger PPV's very popular, I've seen quite a few new Chargers.
  10. Yup, it's a proper unmarked car, not plastered with obvious lights.
  11. I've found yet another photo, that'll wrap up my photo-spamming spree for now.
  12. Yeah, some are buying the standard non-Police Interceptor versions. I've found one more, from Louisville, Kentucky:
  13. Some forces already bought a few standard edition PI's, I've managed to dig up some photographs of some of those units: EDIT: It seems they're already giving it a facelift, the 2013 will be styled to fit these depressing economic times:

  15. This isn't LCPDFR support related, we already a pinned thread about that in the random section: http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/5174-need-help-buildingconfiguring-a-pc/, I'm closing this as it's not LCPDFR support.
  16. My honest opinion: don't bother with the mod if you can't even install GTA IV or update it.
  17. Yeah, you need the Flashlight mod that's out there somewhere, it can be a bit tricky to install, as you have to use OpenIV, I'm sure a google search can lead you to a download link.

  19. Use google, this is closed
  20. State your problem here, and not elsewhere, we only provide support in this section, I'm assuming that you've followed the troubleshooter that comes up when you attempt to make a new thread in the support section, if not, do it. Also read the stickies in the support section before asking. Keep in mind that no support is offered for cracked/pirated copies, as well as installations that has other mods than LCPDFR installed. I'd also suggest removing your skype name out, not everyone will take it and use it for good.
  21. We have a support section, which you've posted in, post it here, otherwise don't ask for help at all.
