I've been curious for quite some time as to what some of the members of this FINE website do for a living, anyone willing to share? There is specific wire needed for strobe lights,if you use anything else it can either catch fire or burn something out. you can find it at the light distributors, some may sell them to you, some won't, I respect the law when it comes to this as it can get pretty serious, I am one of those types of people that will stop if I see someone with a flat tire at 1am, and having lights on the highway in pitch black, are not a bad thing.

Lol Would most likely start your car on fire after a while, my buddy installed my first set, went through the firewall and around my steering under the hood and around the metal frame.. could have been catastrophic if I hadn't been in the car when the power supply caught on fire. Send me a PM about the strobes. EDIT: They're pretty flexible out here when it comes to lighting, just don't abuse them, as there are people that try to pull people over with red/blue lights, which happened last year with a 2011 Dodge Avenger pulling people over around where I live, didn't take long to get caught, light distributors can sell even a red/blue liberty but it's up to you, the owner/driver to be responsible.

Not really, a brand new Power Supply from a distributor would be around $100.00 depending where you are, about $90.00 for a set of strobes, mine was used when I bought them, paid $100.00 for 2 Power Supplies and he just gave me 2 free and I bought 7 headlight strobes for $5.00 each and he just gave me a few cause I only go to him to install my lights,getting them installed would be the biggest thing and having the PROPER wiring for them, NOT 18 gauge speaker wire that people say is fine

Also, check your fuses, you may have blown one somewhere.

There is 1 old interceptor that has them, they aren't illegal as long as the car doesn't look like a cop car no matter what kind of car it is. I'm Canadian, not American, what kind of lights do you have?

Thinking about trying out a couple Amber Whelen Vertex in the headlights themselves, since it is the new Wig Wag system in the new Interceptors.

It's a 2003 CVPI, lots to do on it for the winter months, new tires, new undercoat, gonna put her away next year for winter hopefully and just use it for a summer vehicle.

Thanks! my next project for the lights is another set of strobes that will be amber put in beside the white ones in both headlights and reverse lights with a different toggle switch.

Okay, my last topic didn't go so well as there ARE people against the use of strobe lighting for whatever reason, I made sure I spoke to a Police Officer about the legalities of strobe lighting before I installed them this is what he as well as the guy who decals and outfits the RCMP vehicles for the Dartmouth/ Halifax/ Tantallon area: I can legally have them installed anywhere in the car as long as I do NOT use them on a public roadway for an illegal purpose or on a public roadway at all, they CAN be used on a private road, driveway or empty parking lot, amber strobes/ LEDs are the only type of lighting that can be used while the vehicle is in motion and as you can see i'm in an empty parking lot, keep in mind that this is not for everywhere, I don't abuse them either, also, there was a comment about how a fog lamp mounted on the car would have been better, WRONG, it IS illegal to make the car look like a cop car, spotlight, rambar etc.. Well, my name is Slimory (obviously) I thought of it whilst signing up for Playstation Network, I thought of it cause well, I am very slim and my first name is Ory, so it worked, hence the "Slimory" I did change it to Ross305 cause well, I love Rick Ross' lyrics and he does talk about the "Miami Dade 305" in a lot of his lyrics, but I changed it back cause Slimory was more suitable and the capital "S" well, I can't STAND when people spell my name without a capital "O" so since it's 1 word, well you get the hint.

Don't take offence to this but, i'm guessing you installed the game, forgot the patch, LOADED your game with mods, Police vehicles, ELS V7, ENB Series AND your running off a laptop, my opinion, not a good idea, you will just burn it out, now the reason your having so many issues is because you are not looking around the forums or google to see what your problem is with your game, instead, you install everything expecting it to work, unfortunately modding is like clock work, everything has to be done right or things go wrong and it is very frustrating until you get the hang of it, which will take awhile now, to your problem. you need Patch 7 which is required for mods to work. I tried to make an audio file before, it sounded horrible, I just couldn't fine tune it, what I meant was i'd record the sound files from my car and upload them here or to whoever wanted to make use of them, but apparently nobody wants to do it .

Not sure if the right section for this but since it is pretty random... Was just curious if I recorded audio from my crown vic engine, starting, shutting off, driving and running the engine wide open audio files could be made for GTAIV? may be kind of a dumb question, but it's just a thought.
