  1. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> This pack was pretty nice for me. I loved it, personally. It doesn't have the new Taurus that 23rd Division has though :(
  2. I'd like to remind you all that OP is talking about the 1999 Kosovo War. This is NOT the 1992 Bosnian War. The two wars, although in a similar geographic region, are not related. Claims of genocide have been made from all sides of the conflict, and NATO is not without fault. This is a very complicated topic and is made more difficult by people who are educated solely on Wikipedia articles. If you only know of this war from what you have read on Wikipedia, you don't have a clear understanding of the situation. The mass graves and genocides that are known world-wide are part of the Bosnian War. The Kosovo War is different, and shouldn't be grouped in as part of the Bosnian War.
  3. It's not perfectly accurate, but it's passable. The rear of the trucks have some sort of yellow visibility tape in real life though. As well, the yellow line as it passes through the front door near the front of the cab turns into some square-like dotted line.
  4. If you've got any questions about anything, feel free to send me a message via PM here. I'm quite experienced with HTML + CSS so I'll be glad to help you out.
  5. This commercial seems to be less about the actual word "bossy" and more about encouraging leadership in women. Personally, I don't see what's so dumb about it. I understand that you guys are saying that being called bossy isn't mean (it isn't, I agree) but the commercial seems to be more than that. Not a great commercial, and perhaps not executed very well, but I can see what it's trying to do and it's not dumb. Encouraging women to be leaders is something that should happen. That's my two cents.
  6. Personally, I don't mind people smoking weed. I've got a few great friends who do it every now and then to celebrate an occasion and I'm fine with them doing it. Personally, I've never done it and I probably never will, but I don't demonize it like many other people do. It's been proven that alcohol is much worse than marijuana so I'd rather people have fun doing weed as opposed to drinking. That said, I don't think that kids in grade 7 and 8 should be doing. Hell, kids in 9 and 10 shouldn't be doing it either. The only people who should (and even this is stretched because I'd rather nobody did it) are people who are mature enough to be able to step back and see that it's something that shouldn't be abused. If you can do weed and then say "That was fun, I think I'll do it again in five or six months" and then not be tempted by it, I say do what you want. But if you're not mature enough to be able to stop yourself before you spiral into substance abuse, then stay away. tl;dr: Marijuana is bad, but I don't demonize it. Grown out of the ground or not, it has the active ingredient THC which is a drug. You can smoke the leaves right out of the ground and get high off it because of the THC content in the leaves. Of course when it is processed it is more potent, but it's still a drug without being processed or laced. If you stretch that logic you can say that since opium (and from there heroin and many other hard drugs) come from opium poppies (grows outta the ground) then it's not a drug. Honestly though, who cares. As long as the people who do the drugs are responsible there won't be many problems.
  7. My parents came when they were nearly 40 from Bosnia and adjusted very well. Then again my parents are very well educated individuals who spoke three languages including rough English. We shouldn't stop immigrants from entering the country, we just need better rules that govern who we let in. Although we have existing legislation (the point system) for immigrants it obviously doesn't work that well.
  8. As a fellow Canadian, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. I myself am an immigrant to Canada (I came here when I was 1.5 years old) but I identify as a Canadian when asked where I'm from. Likewise, there are many immigrants who come to Canada who accept Canadian culture with open arms. I live in Toronto, which is considered to be the most multi-cultural city in North America by some people. I can say for a fact that a large majority of immigrants do not cause problems, and are a benefit to our country. There is of course, a small minority that do cause problems and these people come from all over the world. I agree with you that people who come to Canada should adopt Canadian practices, and our government agrees with that too. We have obviously not decriminalized spousal abuse nor have we allowed any type of religious or cultural violence to be acceptable. The government has never said, and never will say that anybody is allowed to break the Criminal Code of Canada for any religious reason. The solution isn't to stop immigration, but rather to have more stringent immigration policies to make sure that people who are coming into the country will be beneficial to Canadian society.
  9. Where do you go to school that has 16 year olds and 21 year olds in the same school? Am I the only person wondering this?
  10. I'm not sure how you managed this, but every single one of your posts on this thread is exactly what my response was to every post you replied to. +1 to you lad. You're my new best friend.
  11. Personally, I hate pre-made branded computers. I don't trust them at all, and I've got good reason not to. They aren't the greatest build quality, and you're never sure about the parts that go in them. I really encourage you to go and make your own computer. I've whipped up a setup to show you what you could do, and I've used the same specs as the Walmart computer (probably better quality stuff too) and I managed to bring it down 40 bucks cheaper. Check if out if you'd like to: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2MS6Z You could spend those extra 40 bucks on a nicer processor or GPU, or splurge on a better case or put it towards a nice 1080p 120Hz monitor. OR Check out Ironside computers: http://ironsidecomputers.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=28229 They provide custom computers to people who aren't sure if they want to build their own. They have top quality parts and they make some pretty awesome rigs. They've also got a YouTube channel that you can check out.
  12. I'd say it would be very popular. Most simulation games that are executed well are popular (take Euro Truck Sim series, ArmA series, Flight Simulator series, Train Sim series) as long as all the components are there. The components being an active modding community, good graphics, and interesting game play. You often see bs games like Construction Simulator or Airport Simulator that are pieces of crap thrown together in a few seconds. A good, accurate, fun police sim would be amazing.
  13. Taken from the Imgur FAQ: First Question: Second Question:
  14. Why would you ever use any image hosting other than Imgur. Imgur is BY FAR the best host.
  15. Cars and guns are two different things, and you can't compare them. What are guns for? They are literally purpose built to kill people. What are cars for? They are built to transport people. As well, if it isn't the duty of a police officer to provide safety and protection, what the hell are they used for? Giving out traffic tickets? (I guess even managing traffic is caring for peoples safety, so they shouldn't even do that according to your logic). Lastly, I don't think that "guns are bad, people with guns are bad, and that no one should ever be allowed to carry a gun". I myself enjoy guns and have fired a few while on vacation to different parts of the world. I really enjoy guns and I absolutely love going to a range and firing them off. Guns are awesome pieces of technology, but I don't think everybody should have them and carry them down the street. Its the simple fact that if you have less guns in a country, you will have less crimes involving guns. That is an absolutely indisputable fact, and if you wanna look for yourself compare gun crimes in the US to gun crimes in the UK. My view against guns isn't due to my "insecurities" but rather to the fact that having guns available to everybody will increase the number of crimes that use those guns.
  16. As a fellow Canadian, I gotta agree with Slimory. I'd rather nobody have guns and let the police do their job to protect us, over giving everybody a gun and "trusting" that they wont kill anybody with it. I think any type of carry is a bad idea. The only people who should have guns are police officers and *certain* security guards. By certain security guards I'm talking about guards who have very high risk jobs such as drivers of armored money transfer trucks. Personally, I don't see the reason to arm everyday civilians with guns. Sure, you give something to a trusting individual and that should make the place safer, but you could just as likely give it to a crazed lunatic. By not giving anything to anybody you lower the amount of people that wouldn't do well with their guns.
  17. I'd go with the second option. You don't really need 2GB gfx memory, 1GB should satisfy GTA IV.
  18. I think the NSA has better things to do than catch people trying to impersonate police officers on the internet ;P
  19. If you've got a really good definition picture of the logo, you could use the pen tool to trace it out. It wouldn't be that hard with that font.
  20. Erm, thats not what I've read. From the Steam Community: "To celebrate the holidays in a special way this year, Left 4 Dead 2 will be free until 10AM PST 12/26. It will be free as in, grab it now, pay no money, and it is yours to keep forever – FOR FREE!" Edit: I thought you meant that it was only free to play for a certain time, and then you'd have to buy it after - like what happened with this game a few months ago. Sorry, you're right!
  21. I was about to say that if you got the TV series, you're in for a bucketload of disappointment and bad acting. I only watch the show to see how bad it can get.
  22. It seems you're the one who should watch the video because the video doesn't say that they ever got the driver. They only say that they caught the passenger.
  23. I wanna know if Leawood police finally got that driver :/
  24. It wasn't because they were bad people, but rather because they needed to fund the FD somehow. They only got money from these memberships and if they saved houses that didn't have memberships nobody would buy them. No money coming into the fire department means no money for the firefighters means no firefighters to fight fires. I'm sure they hated watching somebodies house burn down, but they really had no choice.
  25. I know that quite a while ago (around 100 years or so) many communities in Canada would have fire departments that were not funded by the state. Homeowners would need to pay a yearly membership fee and would get an iron sign they would put on their house. If the fire department came around and you had no sign, they would let your house burn down.
