The new 2021 Tahoe - thoughts?
Tahoes aren't really super great for every day patrol work in a city. The FPIU is marginally better. I'm the outcast, but I really liked driving the new Caprice. Though my agency doesn't actually have any. 😞

Can you successfully start vanilla LSPDFR?- I cant load lspdfr 4.7 because it says cannot find anything
Is this just vanilla LSPDFR?- Possible Solution to Slow System/Insufficient Permissions
Mother fuck. Yep, this worked. First time out.- BejoIjo
Have you consulted Odysseus?- Currently Changing Play Style, Suggestions?
I couldn't fathom not having access to lethal weapon system(s), based solely on the number of potentially violent calls I have responded to.- Do US police have panic buttons?
My agency does. We refer to them as an "e-trig" short for "emergency trigger." There is one on my portable radio and one on my MDT. The one on my radio will make the radio automatically key up for like 5 seconds. When you press it a big ass alert pops up in our communications center with alarms and shit and has the officer's ID and GPS location of the officer's patrol car. Dispatch will immediately tone out and broadcast an e-trig alert and the location and try to get the officer on the radio. Like 99% of the time the officer comes back and reassures everyone it was an accidental activation.- Opinions on Weapon Mounted Cameras (WMC)
I think it's overkill with the prevalence of body worn cameras. Every new device is another point of failure. I'm sure it's well made, but it's an electronic device. I'd wager it has a failure point from kinetic shock damage. How many rounds go through that handgun before it fails? Even a forensically confirmed device failure will result in "why didn't the officer have his weapon camera on, he needs to be fired/arrested/sued/drawn and quartered/etc." I think between body worn cameras and dash cameras, there is sufficient documentation.- Miss Live PD? I can help
I had the mic a little too far up and I sound like a 300lb mouth breather. I will 100% begin all future videos with "Gooooooooooood evening fellow LSPDFR nerds."- Miss Live PD? I can help
Gooooooooooood evening fellow LSPDFR nerds. I figured you all would enjoy some good old fashioned live streaming from a real life SoCal LEO. I'll be 10-8 for the next hour or so, I'll be happy to field your questions or try to get into whatever mischief you'd suggest. No, I don't monetize, no I'm not going to ask you to like, subscribe, etc. Just for fun. https://www.twitch.tv/blizzination- Vehicles I want to use on patrol are not being used in game

- no police4 vehicle when choosing patrol car
Yep. I figured it out - I was adding the Pontiac G8. I added its own section in Agency and it populates in the garage with the duty_selection addition also. However I DIDN'T know about the custom agency script. Interesting. Thank you- no police4 vehicle when choosing patrol car
@zach016, I'm having a similar issue with an added police5. I can spawn it, but I can't make it appear in the garage. Do you have a link for said "extra step or two?" Thanks- Blizz's Updated California Laws
Actually, 27803 is an infraction, not a misdemeanor. So I'm going to remove it from Crime Report all together. If you want to get SUPER technical, all infractions are arrestable offenses. I've had this argument in professional circles, but it's true. Notwithstanding specific authorities, like 40302(a) for failure to ID or 40302(b) for refusal to sign. But if you started making custodial arrests for stop sign violations, I don't think command staff would be happy with you. I'm working on these same updates for both LSPDFR+ and Interaction+- 26 comments

You're right. I will add 27803 VC. I know what I did, when I was doing helmets, I said to myself "I dont need to add 21212 since there are no kids." Good catch! I'll fix in 1.1 (prob today or tomorrow)- 26 comments

Hmm....so you're cutting a cite with Interaction+ rather than on the MDT using ComputerPlus? That's causing a crash?- 26 comments

So...sort of. In California, attempted crimes are covered under 664 PC. When you're completing an arrest report or probable cause declaration, I've always written it as 664/459 PC (for attempted burglary). 664 is it's own section, but it has to be combined with another offence to become operative. I think the easiest way would just be to add 664 PC into the enhancements, and then you could charge 664 with whatever the attempted crime was (Burg, murder, etc.)- 26 comments
