GTA V crashing when I enter/remain in a certain area of the map
@LennyyNo, when I remove that mod everything reverts to normal, and I can drive that stretch of highway repeatedly without the game crashing. I should add that I've had this particular vehicle installed for quite some time (we're talking a year+) without issue, and these crashes only started within the last week, despite that fact that I haven't altered the files at all/have reinstalled the original files to undo any inadvertent changes.

GTA V crashing when I enter/remain in a certain area of the map
@Lennyy No, I don't have them set to spawn anywhere. None of the data files trigger a corruption warning when opened in Open IV. The crash only occurs when I drive down a certain section of highway, adjacent to the Braddock Tunnel, which is the really bizarre part of all this.

GTA V crashing when I enter/remain in a certain area of the map
@Lennyy I have completed testing all of my LML vehicle mods, and have located the culprit. By chance would you be able to please take a gander at the files and see if you can find anything out of place? I will attempt to retrieve the original download off my old laptop in the meantime, as the model is no longer available for download. Please note that the vehicle model files themselves (the yfts and ytds) are too large to upload here, so I am going to assume that they are not corrupt as I can't alter them as they are locked by their creator, so they are obviously all original internally. EDIT: Reinstalling the original vehicle files from my old laptop seems to have stopped the game from crashing when I patrol Braddock Pass/Tunnel, however I will keep testing to confirm. EDIT 2: The crash recurred. Hopefully your review of the files will locate the issue. I'll just avoid that one part of the map for the time being. install.xml carcols.meta carvariations.meta dlctext.meta handling.meta vehicles.meta

GTA V crashing when I enter/remain in a certain area of the map
@LennyySure thing. I'll give that a go and see what happens.

GTA V crashing when I enter/remain in a certain area of the map
@Lennyy I have only installed add-on vehicles via LML, all of which have been installed for some time without issue. I rechecked the files on each one and found no errors either. It's a really bizarre set of circumstances, I know, especially considering that the crashes only occur when I patrol one specific area of the map, and nowhere else.

GTA V crashing when I enter/remain in a certain area of the map
Good day, I am wondering anyone here experienced issues with GTA V crashing only when you enter/remain in a certain area on the map? I am currently dealing with this issue (it occurs when I attempt to patrol the section of freeway at the Braddock pass tunnel), and my logs show no errors with my plugins, etc. I also tried deactivating my mods folder (and later remade it), but the issue persisted. The only thing that seems to stop the crashes is deactivating LML, however reinstalling it proved fruitless as well. Is there anything else that could be the culprit?

Red, pixelated night sky phenomenon
Hello, I'm wondering if perhaps someone here might be able to shed some light on why my game's night sky has started appearing pixelated as in the screenshot below, and possibly how to fix it? I use standard QuantV as my graphics mod of choice. This phenomena isn't visible when the time is set to daylight hours, and has a slight reddish tinge to it as well. Any help is greatly appreciated is it is quite immersion-breaking. Thanks in advance.

Game randomly started crashing as soon as LSPDFR starts to load
Never mind, I seem to have solved my own issues here. The original crash seems to have been fixed by restarting my PC, and the second was due to my forgetting that LML will cause the latest versions of GTA V to crash if the game is launched via RPH. Launching the game itself first, the launching RPH while on the splash screen before selecting "Single Player" was always the fix for that, I just failed to remember it at the time. D'oh!

Game randomly started crashing as soon as LSPDFR starts to load
My game has randomly started crashing right after LSPDFR starts to load, but there's a catch: I haven't changed ANYTHING in my game files. My went from working normally to crashing on startup, without explanation. I know this sounds impossible, so I'll attach my RPH log below, in hopes that it'll prove that I'm not making this up. Additionally, I was able to glean from Event Viewer that kernalbase.dll and ntdll.dll are the faulting modules, not sure if that helps. I really don't know if the latest update has a part to play in this either, or if the lack of updated gameconfigs is responsible, so I'm hoping someone here can help before I end up bald from frustration. RagePluginHook.log UPDATE: My game now won't launch at all. As soon as RPH hooks the game, it crashes to desktop.

Strange Crash
Hello all, I'm hoping that perhaps someone with more experience can shed some light on what this causing this repeated CTD. The game will run for varying amounts of time before crashing, with different error codes each time. I have included the log that Event Viewer generates each time (in a spoiler), along with my RPH log (attached file). Any help is appreciated. EDIT: After some testing, I think this crash may be related to BattlEye. I will conduct further testing to confirm this. RagePluginHook.log

Canadian Charges, Tickets, & Search Items
Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback and thanks as well for pointing out that mistake. I thought that I'd removed all of the death penalty stuff (for exactly the reason you mentioned), but clearly I missed one. I will fix that and update the pack. EDIT: I double-checked all of the charges files and cannot seem to find the death penalty listed anywhere, so I'm not sure why that's happening.

Location of the texture for the American flag pennant streamers in Paleto
Does anyone by chance know where in the game's files I could find the textures for these pennant streamers? They are the last American flags in my game that I would like to swap out for Canadian.

Downgrading GTA V via RPH backups isn't working
@bdavis94 You are an absolute legend! I don't know how you found that solution, but it worked like magic. It's a literal gamechanger, and for that I can't thank you enough. Best help I've ever gotten on this forum.

Downgrading GTA V via RPH backups isn't working
Does anyone know by chance why downgrading GTA V using the RPH backups doesn't work anymore? I mean, why bother having RPH create those files if they don't serve a purpose anymore?

Spawn command working but vehicles do not appear
I recently installed this pack automatically through ModManager and found that when I attempted to spawn the vehicles, the spawn command worked (no error message), but the vehicle did not appear. I tried installing the pack manually as well, basing the file setup off another working single vehicle installation I did, but encountered the same issue. Any suggestions? @LMSExcuse the ping, but perhaps you could look into this one for me? I'm at a complete loss.

Recurring possibly NVE-related crash
A thorough inspection of my vfs log file indicated an invalid path for update2.rpf, so I simply removed that file from my mods folder, re-added vfs.dll to my GTA V directory, and launched as normal. Runtime is now over an hour and 20 minutes and counting, so I'm hopeful that I've got everything fixed now.

Recurring possibly NVE-related crash
I installed NVE last night, and after perusing these forums to find out about the LSPDFR and LML/vfs.dll compatibility patches, I finally got the game to load and play properly, however I am now experiencing a recurring crash (after no more than 35 minutes of gameplay) for no other apparent reason. I have to think that these crashes have something to do with NVE as it is known for this sort of thing, and furthermore I had just remade my mods folder prior to installing NVE, so as to remedy a previous recurring crash. I will attach my RPH log below, in hopes that perhaps someone else will be able to see what I'm missing or doing wrong. RagePluginHook.log EDIT: After some testing, it would seem that the crash is possibly being caused by LML, as removing vfs.dll from my GTA V directory allowed the game for over and hour before I shut it down, as I assumed that if the game hadn't crashed after twice the previous 35-minute runtime without LML, then it is probably the cause of the crashes. I am still looking for a solution though.

Recurring CTD
I've been experiencing recurring crashes lately, after anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour of gameplay. I haven't been able to link these to any particular mod, but did notice an anomaly in my RPH log after my last session. I couldn't find any info on the internet about this particular exception, even though others have had it as well. I'm really thinking that this must have something do with the crashes even though it happens well beforehand. Here is the text in question, hopefully someone here can help deduce what that means: (Full log attached below as well). RagePluginHook.log

GTA Keybindings Menu claims conflicts that don't exist.
@Dozel I have tried resetting the keybindings to their defaults, however the issue persists. I also tried re-copying over my update.rpf file to my mods folder, as well as deleting and allowing my settings.xml and associated files to recreate, as the internet suggested. None of that worked, so I have resorted to changing my trainer's keybindings instead. Thanks.

Seemingly inexplicable GTA V full game crash to desktop
@UnknownBastion I did try what you suggested there, however it either had no effect, or caused the crashes to occur sooner. That said, I removed Megaphone overall, so I will try your other suggestion again and see what happens now.

Seemingly inexplicable GTA V full game crash to desktop
@UnknownBastionI guess I spoke too soon. My game is back to crashing after only 20-25 minutes of runtime. I reverted the few changes I made between that 11-hour run and now, but no luck. Log attached below. RagePluginHook.log

GTA Keybindings Menu claims conflicts that don't exist.
I attempted to change a couple of keybindings that are in conflict with those of my trainer, but found that I couldn't save my keybindings as the game is claiming that they conflict when they don't. I even went through each menu and ensured there were no conflicts, and one of the menus showed a red triangle denoting a conflict anywhere at anytime during this process, so I'm not sure why this happened. The game also says a keybinding could be unbound, but I can't seem to find any that aren't set to a key. Any ideas?

Seemingly inexplicable GTA V full game crash to desktop
@UnknownBastionThanks again! I assumed as much would probably be the case. I did have to downgrade the Police Megaphone mod as the new version seemed to be making the game crash sooner than with the older version, but otherwise I'll keep experimenting and see what gives me the longest playtime.

Seemingly inexplicable GTA V full game crash to desktop
@UnknownBastion Thank you for your suggestions! I implemented both and my game ran for nearly 7 hours before crashing again, with same error code it was crashing with originally. Then on my next session, the game crashed after a run of just under 2 hours, no error code given. The long runtimes are good, but I'd still like to know what is causing the eventual crashes, as I really haven't changed anything in my game recently that would be responsible for them. I've attached yet another log, so hopefully that will shed some further light on things. If not, I can probably tolerate what I have now, as I don't usually play for that long at a time. I should also add that the last two crashes occurred while my character was at virtually (no pun intended) the same location on the map. That could just be a coincidence, but I have heard of crashes having something to do with that before. RagePluginHook.log
