  1. I recently resumed playing GTA V/LSPDFR after a couple weeks off, and within the last couple of days, I've started to incur a full crash to desktop after roughly 25-30 minutes of gameplay. I haven't made any changes to my mods folder that would cause something of this magnitude, so I'm thinking something in there has become incompatible, but I can't seem to figure out what, despite no shortage of effort. I have attached the RPH log from my latest session below, in hopes that someone here can figure out what's causing the crash, as some kind folks have been able to do for me before. Thanks in advance! RagePluginHook.log EDIT: Upgrading my ScriptHookVDotNet to the latest version, running a scan of my PC for corrupted files and repairing them, or some combination thereof seems to have helped with my issues greatly, as my game ran for 11 hours soak testing, before it finally crashed with a different error code. I've added the RPH log from that session below in case anyone has time to take a look and see if they can diagnose why the game crashed again after running for so long. RagePluginHook.log
  2. My apologies, I didn't realize that Windows now has a separate Virus & Threat Protection app, as opposed to old, firewall only system. I have disabled the new antivirus app, so hopefully that'll be the end of it. Yep, that fixed it.
  3. Thank you for responding, however my firewall has been off since before the title update even happened. I have no other anti-virus software active, so I'm confused as to why RPH is tagging reputable plugins as containing viruses. RPH isn't crashing, and the game loads and works fine, just not the plugins. I really don't think it's related to the false-positives.
  4. I just finished updating my game and everything needed for LSPDFR and such to work properly, and upon launching the game I found that RPH won't load any of my plugins anymore (including LSPDFR), claiming they contain viruses. This does NOT appear to be related to the antivirus false-positive issues that normally affect RPH after title updates, as my firewall has been OFF the whole time. Please see my RPH log below for more info, and hopefully someone else knows why this has happened to me. RagePluginHook.log
  5. By all means go ahead and fix any issues you find in Notepad or any text document editor, then send the files to me at Fhsig13#8651 on Discord if that works for you. If not, I think you can just attach the file to a comment here if it's small enough.
  6. Done and done! @DooVan Give 'er a try and let me know what you think please!
  7. I will give your request a try, but please know that my French is rusty. It's been 5+ years since I last studied the language in high school, so you'll have to bear with me.
  8. Thanks, man! Your feedback means a lot, especially considering this my first modification ever. I have got the Quebec stuff done, thanks to your sources, so standby for an update! I also gave you credit in the "Credits" tab.

Having noticed a distinct lack of Canadian content for STP & Compulite, I am pleased to share my own configs. These are the result of countless hours spent filtering through the Criminal Code of Canada, Provincial Motor Vehicle/Highway Traffic Acts, and others. I hope that they are as much use to others as they have been to me. Since I know that realism matters to a lot of us, please note the following before use: I have included French versions of the "Other Provinces & Territories" VehicleItems.xml and PatDownItems.xml files in case any French-Canadian folks would like to use them. Possession of up to 4 ounces of Cannabis/Marijuana is legal in Canada as long as the possessor is 19 years of age or older. Tasers/Stun Guns and Pepper Spray containing Oleoresin Capsicum (OC/Mace) are prohibited (illegal) weapons in Canada, excluding use by law enforcement and, I believe, military personnel. Knuckledusters (also known as Brass Knuckles) are also a prohibited (illegal) weapon in Canada. Provinces British Columbia - Included. Alberta - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Saskatchewan - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Manitoba - Included. Ontario - Included. Québec - English & French Versions Included. New Brunswick - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Newfoundland and Labrador - Included. Nova Scotia - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Prince Edward Island - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Territories Yukon - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Northwest Territories - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Nunavut - Not started yet, haven't been able to find resources. (If you know of any, please let me know). Please let me know if I have missed any charges or tickets that should be included, and if you'd like to see tickets for any other provinces or territories made. Otherwise, Enjoy! Updates: v.1.00. - Initial release. v.1.1.0. - Added a citations.xml file for Ontario as I already had one made that I had forgotten about. v.1.2.0. - Added a charges.xml file for Ontario as I realized that the penalties for DUI vary by province, in addition to the federal charge. v.1.3.0. - Added citations and charges for Manitoba. v.1.4.0. - Added citations and charges for Newfoundland & Labrador. v.1.5.0. - Added citations and charges for Québec, and fixed some typos in the Ontario citations. v.1.6.0. - Added French versions of the citations.xml and charges.xml for Québec, added French versions of the VehicleItems.xml and PatDownItems.xml files, and corrected some inaccuracies, typos, and duplications of items in the English versions of the VehicleItems.xml and PatDownItems.xml files. v.1.7.0.- Fixed a couple typos in both of the English VehicleItems.xml files. v.1.8.0.- Added upgraded French citations.xml and a French translation of Charges.xml for Québec. v.1.8.1.- Minor fixes. v.1.8.2. - Added more cycling-related citations for BC, and implemented some other fixes. v.1.8.3. - Updated BC citations to add the new offences for failing to leave a safety gap when passing cyclists, as well as driving unauthorized automated vehicles and commercial vehicle speed limiter violation offences. v.1.8.4 - Removed patdownitems.xml and vehicleitems.xml files as BC reversed its' decision on drug decriminalization, so those files are now moot. Any such files can be used in conjunction with this mod, so long as you adjust your item classifications accordingly.
  9. PSA: This mod is outdated and will cause your game to crash. Hopefully someday we'll see another K9 mod as good as Herocop once was, but for now we say so long to a trusted partner.
  10. I happened to test removing that very mod right after posting my original query, then let the game soak for over an hour, and voila. Doesn't seem like its going to crash anymore. I knew I had previously removed Herocop for a reason. Hopefully someday another K9 partner mod will be produced....
  11. Since a few days ago, I've been experiencing a crash to desktop after playing for a short time. Given that it always seems to be one of those "access violation" type crashes, I automatically assumed that I messed something up in my mods folder, so I backed up some things and deleted entire folder before remaking it, and I'm still getting a crash. I've attached my RPH log below, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help out. Thanks in advance. RagePluginHook.log
  12. Never mind, I solved this problem on my own, through trial and error. Turns out that if you add too much text to the.xml file, so question groups won't show up in game, so it was, in essence, a size issue after all. I simply removed some unnecessary questions, and voila! All groups are now present and accounted for.
  13. Hello all, I recently restarted my LSPDFR modding and used Sereous313's "Ultimate Questions 2.0.1" to improve my StopThePed. I went into the TrafficStopQuestions.xml document myself however and corrected some grammatical errors, as well as altered some of the questions to fit my RP. That said, when I load everything up in-game and got to interact on a Traffic Stop, several question groups are missing for no apparent reason. I compared my modified .xml file with the default one (which doesn't lose any groups when loaded) but can't seem to find any reason why this would happen. I used OpenIV to ensure that I didn't damage of structural coding of the document, and found that it is in every way identical to the default UQ .xml file, aside from my changes to the question wording. Any ideas? I have attached my modified .xml and the default below (default is trafficstopquestions1.xml) EDIT: I also tried reducing the size of the modified file to that of the default, and found that size was not responsible for the issues I've been having, despite a version of the file with fewer changed questions working correctly. TrafficStopQuestions.xml TrafficStopQuestions1.xml
  14. I think there may be an overarching issue with the mod at this point, as I am having the same problem on my end. My flashlight worked up until at least the last STP update, which, if I'm not mistaken, came out just after the last GTA V title update, so either one could be to blame. Benjolio has a Discord channel. I am going to see if I can bring this to his attention there. Update: Benjolio's support team seems to have already received reports about this issue, and they have stated that "Certain things can sometimes interfere with this feature and stop it from working. We haven't determined what the specific culprit is. We've heard reports that it randomly stops working and will randomly start again."
  15. @Jedahdiah Sorry for the tag, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that the DLC Pack didn't work for me, since the carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta in the pack are empty files. I think you might've made a mistake in the upload, based on that.
  16. Thank you, however I have already verified, in conjunction with the mod author, that ELS is not causing the issue. He insinuated that he has tested his mod with and without it, and did not experience the same issues, per my conversation with him on Discord. I have also tried repairing the vehicle after activating the extras in question, to no avail.
  17. With all due respect, the Add-on pack is now missing.....
  18. Although what I'm about to say has been stated at least in part by others above, I feel that a critique such as this deserves clarity. In order for your add-on packs to work, each one must contain the .meta files necessary not only for the vehicles to spawn, but also for them to function as desired. DLC packs such as this also require certain other data files, namely setup2.xml, content.xml, and dlctext.xml, in order for the pack to function as it should. While the quality of your vehicles is outstanding, the construction of your Add-on DLC Pack could use some work. I do hope that this can be a teachable moment for you, as a mod author, and that your pack enjoys the success it deserves.
  19. @Will The pack author was not able to help afterall. Seems the issue is not his end, and I seem to have installed it correctly. I'm thinking it must something to do with LML. That kind of extra must be incompatible.
  20. I do still have ELS installed, however that doesn't seem to be effecting it. I am now in contact with the author of the GCSO pack, hopefully they will be able to better diagnose the issue, from the inside. Thank you for your help anyways.
  21. Okay, I tried that and it partially solved the problem. The lighting on the vehicles is now functional, however certain extras, such as lightbars and rambars, do not appear on the vehicles when triggered to do so.
  22. Alright. I'll give that a go.
  23. Funny thing is, I did combine the data files into one of each type, and put all the streaming files in one folder. I can send screenshots to back that up if need be.
  24. Here are the screenshots you requested. I re-arranged the folders since I posted my original query, in order to match working LML non-ELS packs I've found, in hopes of making this one work. also tried one other install.xml file (a simplified one, attached below), which matched that of a working pack (adjusted to suit this one), however the result is the same. The lights fail to work, and any lightbars set as extras will not appear when triggered to do so. install.xml
