good additions, id love to see a better police computer added like real life, maybe in future a Police Equipment update!, that would be great.

yeah it def sounds like a ragehook compatibility issue, the past few rage hooks it worked fine, its honestly hard to play without the computer, adds so much too the game.

i have had random issues with ELS, had to do a fresh install of it two times now, because it will run fine for few days and the window stopped poping up as well. I redownloaded some new vech skins and els seems to be working good so far. On day two of window still showing, so could of been some els xml files were messing up els itself. If you have skins installed, try to rename the Mods folder to _Mods temporarly and launch game and see if window pops up. or move mods folder on desktop till you launch and test it, but this is guessing you got some els vechs installed.

For those who probably dont know, rage has yet again released a new update, saw it as i was helping someone get lspdfr to work. Could cause complications for your game in future if you dont have it, just wanted to update everyone. Previous version was .59, most should get a prompt to auto install new update. well ill confirm i was able to get els working today and the skins without crashes, i could help take a look in discord via record too see if your installing correctly or you can do teamview and i can install the files for you, or take a look at what you got in your main directory, see if anything is out of place.

i just now got ELS to work properly and vech skins for it, took me days to get it all working, that is weird, sounds like a sound file is messed up. You extracted the xml files to the ELS folder right for the cars you got?, is this first time you installed ELS?, or this just started to happen today?

yeah i saw there is no mods for detectives, i wish i knew coding. I have the ambition/dedication, just not the skills, and yeah you can learn using videos, but i learn best hands on. Neither did i go to college for coding either, instead i did Computer networking and electronics technology at a vocational school. I should of did the coding class dang it.

i hate game is dead posts, no offense to OP of course, no game is ever truly dead, unless they pull plug on servers itself. people say that about all the MMO's out right now too, but people still play them.; Im just getting into lspdfr going into 2018 and yeah i get alot of bugs but im able to play game. The only way things continue is hard work and dedication from the community, if more people learned how to mod you would see more on the list, but its understandable, not all people want to learn or even do modding, its a ton of work. If i knew how i would be doing it right now, i would love lspdfr to keep going, how good the mod is i wish it was a standalone game instead, because any thing gta 5 devs do, can mess up the mod. Im surprised they havent tried to steal this mods idea and use it for their own personal gain, for how popular it is, i hope that never happens. And hope to see lspdfr continue in future gta releases as long as they arnt jerks and support mods again. Yeah things do not last forever, but take the moments you get, and live them to the fullest each, and everyday. LSPDFR came around when im having a hard time in my life right now, it helps keep my mind of the negative, and the forums keep my mind from wandering, im glad its around and i came across it. It reminds me of what i always wanted to do in my life, but never have, i find the mod and add-ons so immersive i dont even consider myself that im playing GTA 5, im playing LSPDFR.

all great videos, i just cant seem to get vechicles uploaded correctly, i have tried everything to youtube, etc and cant find a good guide for 2017, i follow all read-mes and i open IV the files and just dont see them, i only got skin to work so far. SO i have to be missing something

i wish i would of known about lspdfr back then, late to the party at 2017, i just randomly found a youtube video of a guy playing gta 5 and saw he was a cop, i was like hmm whats this? saw a title called lspdfr, and google searched it, best thing i ever did. To date from any mod i have ever tried, this one tops them all. This mod so good, i could see it being used as a training tool for actual law enforcement. Good job.
