So im wanting to start getting into non els cars, However i do have a question, is there a mod to make the cars still act like ELS? i mean, like pressing DPadLeft for lights Dpadright for sirens, and "B" for siren tones? 

Basically like the majority of FiveM servers are.

I'm not an expert in the whole non-els field but lspdfr has a feature within the keys ini that allows you to turn the siren off while keeping the lights on. Unfortunately this still uses the default actuation of the lights by tapping the horn button.

Check out lux_vehcontrol.  We use this exclusively on our server and it works wonderfully.

While I have been on here for a while, as someone who wants to contribute, I'm not about to offer something I wouldn't check myself.
30 Years of IT have taught me not to trust everything, but most people here run an AV that will stop stuff like that, not to mention the repercussions from the admins for doing something so stupid as to post an infected or snooping site.

Hope you like Luxart, we thought of using ELS, but too much to make sure clients get it installed.  Most of our players just want to connect and play.

i do appreciate the effort, however i do not believe this will work in lspdfr as per the topic

I was referring to the use of FiveM, I've had this for over a year now without incident.

Not sure who the hell would want to use NON-ELS in just LSPDFR, however I can say that I have made a non els vehicle work in lspdfr by installing the vehicle to a default slot an example being police2. Or you can install the vehicle as an Add on. As controls for lights and sirens, you are stuck with the default controls for the horn on gta. I highly suggest you head to YouTube and find a video to help.

I offered a solution.  Honestly no real reason to quote something that isn't true, much less be rude about it.  You're not stuck with the default settings on GTA, the resource I offered as a solution changes that so you can use the lights and sirens like ELS, but not have to use ELS.

I wasn’t being rude about I was just starting out by saying who the hell would want to use non els on default GTA. That’s not being rude, I only said that cause pretty much everyone uses ELS models. I don’t appreciate being called rude when I was giving him suggestions on what to do. And I have installed non els vehicles before into single player, so I really don’t appreciate being told that I’m not telling something that isn’t true. Telling someone that they are stuck with default controls for lights and sirens is what I tell them from my experience from installing NON ELS. And the fact that you are a newbie here, it’s clear you haven’t even tried to install a Non Els. Plus you didn’t even know what the topic was for at first as you mentioned Luxart and clearly you didn’t understand the question he was asking. So don’t tell me I’m lying when I’ve had a lot more experience than you setting up FiveM servers and installing vehicles into LSPDFR. I’ve been doing it ever since LCPDFR for GTA 4 installing and fixing shit. So when I have 6 years of experience installing things for GTA and fixing things.

I don’t need an IT with no experience within the community to tell me I’m not telling the Truth when these are things I’ve tested more than once.

Reading through this topic, I'm even a little confused as to what the question was and how some of these topics came up, so allow me to offer some insight.

 

- You can utilize ELS's features (siren control only) with non ELS via a VCF that disabled ELS using the vehicle extras.  However, you still need ELS installed.

 

- Non-ELS came first.  That's what stock GTA is, vanilla cars, vanilla lighting.  I'm not sure how this confusion started of non-ELS cars not working with GTA.

 

- Non-ELS cars install the same way as ELS, there's just one differences:  ELS comes with an XML that has to be installed.
