The stealing has been going on since I first got this mod. But now, the cops are actually shooting at the suspect while I'm driving him to the police station! I believe it's a bug that causes them to be angry/aggressive.

Common issue with GTA4, the draw one. 1.0.7.0 and it's happening. How do you lower the draw?

Depends, if it's just a guy off the street that you try to arrest/frisk and he runs away - there's no red dot. If it's part of a mission (such as the car chase one you described), yes theres a red dot.

I thought ALT+H only works with gunpoint and ALT+R is by who is closest to you.

Not really easy for people to find information. So many threads, who would be bothered to look through all of them. A FAQ/ the Error Troubleshooter you created would be great.

How about a new button to customize the voice. I would suggest a "pool" of voices, and the user be able to select from the pool by pressing the "arrow down" button during character selection.

We also need more voices if you could steal them from the other officer characters.

Hmm. The issue is occuring when you try to look at someone elses Crime Stats. Your own should be fine.

Why didn't you just perform a PIT maneuveur? How's your application to be a cop? The guys also doing a full circle around the area. Also a bit late, he aimed the weapon then lowered then you shot him. That would constitute shooting a surrendering civilian. What police officer aims for the head? You will be trained to shoot for the torso. Your a cop not a Green Beret.

In the recent 0.90F patch, the cops are behaving way aggressive, shooting on sight non-compliant suspects.
