Huh? But If I take out my mods folder and stick it on Desktop how will it load the cars? Or is this some sort of game cache issue, take out the folder load the game , close the game, re add mods folder and it works?

How? I am having same problem with any car I add to the game as of today, all cars added before today are recognised as police cars, but none I have added today. I have even tried using a meta from a car that I know is recognised as a police car and just change the name within the meta, and they still don't work. Have also notice these new cars have the radio on, so the system deffo not seeing them as police cars.

Might I suggest a visit to youtube, you can learn so much on there and its like having someone with you teaching you. Really is the best way to learn!

Whats the most common reason for crashes?...... gameconfig.xml. I assume that when you install RDE it adds it's own gameconfig which is out of date, so once I added the correct one it worked.- 1,512 comments

So I am guessing this mod no longer works? Having spent over 3 weeks trying to install it, I can only assume it is dead! Have tried on multiple installs of GTA, tried installing on a clean install and the result is always the same..CRASH before the game even loads. Delete the mods folder where it was installed and replace with original mods folder with all my normal mods and the game works again. Conclusion.. This mod no longer works, which is a shame as it looked really good!

Actually there is an official script hook out by AB unfortunately it has been "stolen" from his website. mods>update>update.rpf>common>data

Same issue here with regards to the cost system crashing , I did send the author a message about another issue over 5 days ago but it has not even been read, so I wouldn't expect and fast response for this issue, going to try what another user suggested , an older version of rage native.- 1,178 comments

We CAN still use openIV we CAN still mod and use mods. I think it's time we got over it! The best way of putting our middle finger up at T2 is doing what we do best, enjoy modding the game. T2 is more than welcome to come and get me if that is what they want to do but I think they have better things to do like think of the next way to upset its declining fanbase!

So if OpenIV still works now and when the new script hook v update is out people can still mod and use mods then why are so many people so worried? Surely as long as we block any future updates all is still good?

There seems to be many petitions going round at the moment! None will help. Right now all I can hope for is a speedy release of script hook, only found out about lspdfr a few days ago and was blown away by it and now can't play it. I never thought at the age of 44 I would be having a tantrum!!

Why don't you just add a link to your signature for people to PM you if they need the program if your that desperate for people to be able to get it... Just an idea!

At the grand old age of 44 I am only just getting into the modding of GTAV and just love lspdfr and hope that I will be able to continue to use it, even tho at this moment I can't due to outdated script hook, and now I get this popup on OpenIV giving me the option to uninstall (Not a cat in hells chance!). I have paid for GTAV on every format that it has been released on so have spend a fair amount of money with R*. It does make me wonder if people will now stick their middle finger up at them and just used pirated versions from now on. I have purchased this software so i should be able to do with it what I want, if I can't then why should I put my hand in my pocket and hand over money! Rant over... Anyone know how to stop the OpenIV popup from coming up every time you start openiv?

I would also like to know this, there as so many keys that GTAV uses that could be free'd up for better use with various mods but you can't "unbound" keys from what I can tell, totally crazy!
