Hey community!

I'm having a weird issue where on some of my police cars there being recognized in game as police cars and I can pull people over and stuff like that,  When other police cars in game are not recognized in game as police cars and I can't  pull people over. Weird right?

It just started happening to I put in these ELS VCF's that were in the game before (worked fine before) and I also installed a vehicle meta file that was also in the game before which worked fine. 

 

Any Ideas? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Please attach, don't post, your vehicles.meta.  Also please include the name of the problem vehicles.

How? I am having same problem with any car I add to the game as of today, all cars added before today are recognised as police cars, but none I have added today. I have even tried using a meta from a car that I know is recognised as a police car and just change the name within the meta, and they still don't work. Have also notice these new cars have the radio on, so the system deffo not seeing them as police cars.

Yep same issue I had. Take out your mods folder (put it on desktop and rename it to "_mods" without quotes)

Now see if it works.

Huh? But If I take out my mods folder and stick it on Desktop how will it load the cars? Or is this some sort of game cache issue, take out the folder load the game , close the game, re add mods folder and it works?

It will take out the cars but see if that works first, then we can go from there. This worked for me so it will see what is wrong.

You can put it back in if you dont delete it just move it to somewhere else and rename it _mods

Ok I am really lost here, my issue is that the cars are not recognised as police cars so if I take the cars out of the game how will I know if it has worked as there will be no cars to check it with lol! I don't know if ALL of your cars were not working but for me it is just the 3 I have added today.

Ok I know what your issue is I had the exact issue, Its not the cars. Only policeb worked for me and that's what I did to fix it. The stock vehicles will be there again you can put it back.

If you don't want to do that then answer this question: What did you install before it stopped working?

Only thing I have added is the addon spawner mod...hmmmgoing to take that out then and see if thats the issue, can't see how it would be tho.

Yea I dont think thats it it was my vehicle meta so thats why Im saying to take out mods folder to see if thats it

Do you have a modded meta?

Yes I have a modded meta, but it's not the meta as I just tried renaming one of the known working cars (in the meta) to one that is not working and  the car still didn't work so its not the meta, I suspect it might be the addon installer just can't see how or why that would effect it, actually I am using a persistence mod so I can have all my cars parked in a line on the runway, guess that could also be messing with it.

 

 

Well taken both of those out and still not working, have a feeling I am going to be looking at a fresh install as no car I add now is recognised as a police car.

Ok well i dont know then It was the meta for me try to ask people in the rage hook discord thats what I did.

It's no big deal I have just deleted and re installed, I do a weekly backup incase of things like this.
