redoper reacted to Nutt for a file, Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script
Introduction Hello everyone, I’m pleased and very excited to introduce the “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script” or L.E.J.S. for short. The script was designed and outlined as a team project between Albo1125 and myself. This script was designed in-mind to give the end-user more control over the policing powers within GTA V. By allowing most, if not all, the functionality of governing which departments have jurisdictions over what parts of Los Santos. With this script you’ll have the power on setting up which areas of patrols… what particular vehicles are in use… what particular Law Enforcement Officers are in use... are they stationed or patrolling… what time of (day or night)… and much-much more.
    Special Thanks
Thanks EVI for being the original beta tester and bouncing future ideas off us.
Thanks c13, BroCop and Dilapidated on assisting in the second wave of beta testing.
Thank you AlexGuirre for the Zones enum-related stuff and Dilapidated once again for the HELI_MISSION native use.
Police Jurisdiction Police jurisdiction refers to the legal authority for police to enforce laws and the specific geographical area in which this authority exists. Police officers generally have jurisdiction to enforce the laws of a local geographic area or the entire state in which they serve. By contrast, federal officers, such as FBI agents, carry out the enforcement of federal laws throughout the entire country.
Jurisdictions and Policing Possibilities Border and Customs Enforcement. Wildlife and Game Enforcement. City, State and Federal Buildings Patrols. County Roads, Freeways, Highways and Byways Patrols. Road Construction Assistance and Enforcement. Railroads and Train Yards Patrols. Subways and Trolleys Patrols. Airport Policing and Security Enforcement. Marina, Beach and Shipyard Patrols. Coast Guard Patrols. Public and Private Property Security Patrol. Or any other area of Law Enforcement and Security that you can think of.   Summary L.E.J.S. allows the end-user to customize their needs within the .INI file (example below), by giving the end-user certain key variables on achieving their goals. The script will be an ongoing project (add-ons, updates, tweaking, etc…) that will give the end-user even more control over time.
CREDITS & LICENCE Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script is coded by Albo1125 (aka The Great OZ). Cee Montana (aka Nutt) is the owner of the Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script. You cannot upload or redistribute the Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script without the explicit written permission of Cee Montana (Nutt).
Q&A Time Q. Is there a tutorial on getting started?
    A. Yes. Please see the awesome tutorial video by Albo in the video section. Also, the first time you execute the LEJS Editor - it will automatically link you with the tutorial video. Don’t worry, it’s only a onetime measure on cutting down on some of the learning curve questions. Lastly, the Editor may require the “run anyway” elevated permissions for the first time depending on your OS.
    Q. How many Jurisdictions Patrol Profiles can I create within the .INI file?
    A. Creating jurisdiction profiles are limitless. That being said, I would personally suggest on keeping each jurisdiction area or zone, vehicle count under twenty-five (25). Especially if you’re using non-vanilla vehicles and a large activation boundary. In other words: You can have hundreds and hundreds of patrol spots… just keep each jurisdiction or area under twenty-five (25) vehicles if possible.
    Q. Can the user create jurisdictions and patrol points all across Los Santos?
    A. Yes.
    Q. Can the user create sea and air support jurisdictions points?
    A. Yes. If you’re creating custom air-support and/or sea-support jurisdictions… you can gather coordinates by using a simple trainer or enhanced trainer “airbrake” feature during gameplay, then saving the coordinates data via RHA console command “SaveLEJSLocationInfo MyLocationName”.
    Q. How accurate are the Jurisdictions and patrolling setups?
    A. The script is very accurate to what the .INI file is setup to do (by you). The x, y, z coordinates, heading coordinates and the area of patrol size, are very important key components on giving the user as much control and accuracy on creating believable jurisdictions patrols.
    Q. What is the difference between selecting a “Custom” and “Zone” jurisdiction setup?
    A. Custom setups gives the user more options (control) for specific needs and accuracy… while Zone setups gives the user immediate selections (over 90 zones) on getting patrols setup quickly - without the needed coordinates data.
    Q. Can I create “Custom” and “Zone” setups within the same jurisdiction?
    A. Yes.
    Q. Is there a default .INI (prebuilt) contained in the download?
    A. Yes. A few patrol points on getting you started.
    Q. Can I use custom and/or renamed patrol vehicles?
    A. Yes.
    Q. Can I use civilian cars?
    A. Yes. If it has wheels, wings and it floats - you can use it.
    Q. Do the LEJS Officers react to crimes?
    A. Yes and No. Officers will react to Michael’s, Trevor’s and Franklin’s crimes - not surrounding crimes (gangbangers, fights, etc…). We’re working on the latter part… so stay tuned for updates.
    Q. The Officers that are patrolling - do they roam away from their areas of assignments?
    A. No. As long as the user sets the correct “area of patrol size” and/or other boundaries within the .INI file… the patrolling Officers will stay within their jurisdiction scope.
    Q. Will Officers leave their Jurisdictions during a commission of crime?
    A. Yes. But we’re looking into giving the user the option on “not allowing pursuits beyond the set jurisdiction scope”.
    Q. How do I get the axis x, y, z, and heading coordinates for my particular custom patrol needs?
    A. LEJS has a custom console command “SaveLEJSLocationInfo MyLocationName” which allows you to easily save your location information in the required format of LEJS's INI file.
    Q. Will there be a thread on sharing locations and coordinates?
    A. Sure will. I figured some end-users may-not want to go through the hassle of plugging in data. So there will be a thread where users can share their Jurisdiction setups and/or patrolling spots (with photos) – so that others can decide if its fits their needs.
    Q. How stable is the script?
    A. No major problems to report.
    Q. How can I edit the .INI file?
    A. The nice and simplistic .INI Editor of course!
    Q. Key features?
    A. Most of the key features can be viewed from the .INI Editor. However, I believe the master viewing mode (F3 Key by default) is quite impressive. You can verify the areas of patrols that you created (per immediate surrounding area), and modify them later based on your observation. And if you set the blip feature (per car) within the .INI file, you’ll see the vehicles in real-time (especially the vehicles that are set to patrol) doing their job within the area of scope that you set.
    Q. What are the red, green and yellow blips in the master viewing mode (F3)?
    A. If enabled in the .INI file (per vehicle), the master viewing mode lets the user know which vehicles are stationed (red), which ones are patrolling (green) and which ones are zoned spawned (yellow).
    Q. How do I reload the script if it stops working completely?
    A.  Bring up the Rage Plugin Console. First, if necessary, unload the plugin by typing UnloadPlugin “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script.dll” and pressing enter. You can then reload it by typing LoadPlugin “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script.dll” and pressing enter.
    Q. Can I easily make changes to the INI file while in game?
    A. Absolutely! When you’re in master viewing mode (F3), you can reload the values from the INI file by pressing F5 (default). You will see the changes you made are immediately reflected by the master viewing mode for easy editing and perfecting your jurisdictions.
FYI:  * Guys/Gals please make sure to use the correct coordinates when creating custom zones. Especially if it has a negative (-) in front of it. Example: if the coordinate states -34.789 then it should be -34.789.   Tutorial Video:

redoper reacted to Albo1125 for a file, NewsHeliPursuit
NewsHeliPursuit is a script modification that allows you to have a news helicopter follow your pursuits. After a certain time period (configurable in the INI file) a news helicopter is dispatched and will follow the pursuit you are engaged in.
NewsHeliPursuit allows you to customise the model and the livery of the helicopter that is dispatched to your pursuit in the INI file. The download contains a pre-built news helicopter livery that you can install. The default INI file is set to accommodate this by default.
Prefer a slightly more colourful news helicopter skin? Check out this texture by @koudai919!
Installation Instructions are provided in the readme. Requires RPH 0.36 or higher. Please read the credits for full acknowledgements.

This mod simulates the flight patterns of Southern California (more specifically, Los Angeles area) law enforcement air support helicopters. That is, they will orbit around a target entity or position instead of just hovering above. A spotlight will track the subject when night-time. You may also call for a backup heli anytime while on-duty.

    A Must-Have For Realistic Gameplay!

Make sure to put HeliAssistance.dll and HeliAssistance.ini and HeliAssistance.pdb into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.
Make sure you have the latest RageNativeUI installed. And make sure you have Spotlight installed.

redoper reacted to SyeDog for a file, On The Beat Callouts[WIP]
On the beat Callouts is my first Callout Pack and my first GTA V Plugin is general. Designed around standard, low to medium severity Callouts.

My aim is to develop the Callout Pack to fill in the gaps where other packs do not, giving you a more rounded and realistic feel to the patrol you are on.

Whats included in the pack so far:

Local Stolen Vehicle - Pursuit of a stolen vehicle in your local area
Drunken Disorderly - Possible intoxication on the streets of San Andreas You will find a variety of people out on the streets, drinking a bit too much Once you have stopped the suspect and are close enough, press Y to interact with the subject Highly recommend StopThePed for additional interactions with suspect
Graffiti Call - 4 possible options for this call, respond in the mirror park area Has 4 different options depending on a dice roll, make sure you check all 4 out to mix up your patrol Unfortunately only has one location but will be adding more locations when i can Animated and props to add realism to the callout
Suspicious Vehicle - with three slight variations to the callout. Eagle eyed officers will hopefully tell the difference.
Laser Pointer discharged at aircraft - this call can play out in a few ways, subtle differences but adds variety. Has its own RageNativeUI Menu. Press (Default Y) the Speech button to interact with the suspect Added immersive subtitles to fill you in with the situation as you approach

    Planned for development:

Integration with LSPDFR+ by @Albo1125 Add custom inventories using the new 0.4.2 API Continue to add RageNativeUI menu's into callouts in my Menu Pass Patches Public Disturbance - Possible suspect disturbing the peace at location Suspicious Behavior around locations in San Andreas Shop lifting from store / petrol station Car Crash without incident Various Anti Social Behavior incidents Adding animations and other props to add realism to the callouts More...
    INSTALLATION:
Drag and drop files into your \Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR folder
Please Read the README included in the download

Don't forget to adjust your ini file when installing / upgrading this callout pack.

    Recommended Mods:
For the best experience i recommend downloading and installing the following mods which help expand the experience of my callouts
Computer+ (ComputerPlus) by @PieRGud version 1.3.0.0 or higher //// For computer interactions with callout logging and information about callout progress Traffic Policer by @Albo1125 version 6.15.0.0 or higher //// Helps with traffic related interactions StopThePed by @BejoIjo version 4.6.5.0 or higher //// Allows more interactions with stopping and processing peds during the callouts.  Adds ability to call taxi's or other support vehicles for peds during callouts Adds the ability to process alcohol levels and intoxication of peds during callout Police SmartRadio by @Albo1125 version 1.2.0.0 or higher //// Adds a quick and easy way to select options for callouts and adds functionality from other mods to enhance my own

    ATTENTION!
This mod is no longer in active development!
Development of this mod has been taken over here
What does this mean? Well, simply put, I can no longer handle it. School and work has to take priority, and I just don't have the time for it anymore. I'm very sorry to those of you who were looking forward to new updates, bugfixes, your suggestions and more. I wanted to say thank you to everyone for your incredible amounts of support along the journey of this plugin.

I first submitted this over 3 years ago, way back in 2019, as just a couple of vaguely security related callouts. Since then, nearly 50,000 people have downloaded it. I can't even picture that many people in my mind, it truly blows me away, so thank you.

For anyone interested, I've decided to open-source the entirety of Beta 1.2, along with all unreleased WIP Beta 1.3 code here on GitHub. It's a GPL license, so go crazy. Unfortunately I no longer have the original code for the older versions, but if you really need them for some reason you can always just decompile them, as they're all still available here as .dll files. Thank you all again for your support over the years, and happy modding.

    Security+ is now in Beta!
After a very long wait (sorry haha) the major update is finally here.
I won't spoil too much, but some of the new features include:
        - A brand new code base for maximum optimization
        - Remastered or Remade all existing callouts!
        - Now supporting 50 locations across San Andreas!
        - 36 Unique security scenarios!
        - A custom security dispatcher!
        - And much more

I've done my best to remove all existing bugs, and everything should work smoothly, however, if you find a bug please don't hesitate to leave a comment or send me a message 🙂

Hey guys, I'm happy to release my very first LSPDFR Callouts plugin, its pretty basic now but I plan on updating it in the future to include more callouts for a variety of agencies for Australian LSPDFR fans.

Requires: up to date RPH and LSPDFR
    RageNativeUI

Click here to see the callouts in action!

Massive thanks to @Albo1125 for his videos and code which helped alot to learn scripting and thanks to @xwoundedstoner for the police model seen in the screenshots.
    The current featured callouts include:
Welfare Check - Can range from anything such as just a simple check up on someone who is fine, to someone pulling a knife on you cause they're unstable.
Bar Fight - Alcohol can make people very aggressive and a pain for police. What will you do when you're called to respond to one?
Hit and Run - A suspect has fleed from the scene of a hit and run. Chase them down and bring them to justice.
Transport to court - Another part of police routine is to transport accused persons to their court hearing.
MVA - Major accident on the freeway and you're called to respond, handle the towing of vehicles and first aid till paramedics arrive.  taken out because still glitchy.

Known Bugs: In the welfare check the subtitles wont continue unless you step away

    Other Features:
Codes Menu - (Press f5 for codes MENU!) A Native UI menu that allows you to call to VKC (dispatch) that you're on duty, off duty, need assistance, need medical assistance or need prison transport.
More to be added. (The code 9 and code 13 menus have been removed because of bugs with spawning in LSPDFR Backup police and ambulances)

PLUGIN HAS BEEN TESTED & WORKS WITH LSPDFR 0.4.8
(If this is not the case, please PM me)
    Overview
Proudly built by a computer science student in Montreal, Station 19 Callouts aims to be the most realistic depiction of a police drama in GTA V. Before playing this callout pack, I recommend watching a couple episodes of the TV series 19-2, I'm sure you'll be hooked! I've designed this callout to be customizable to the player's liking through the use of an INI file. That being said, I cannot stress enough how the callout pack is more realistic with the custom dispatch audio enabled. If you're a YouTuber and prefer to disable that, there's a setting for that.

    Callouts
"Vandalism at Viger High School" (S02E01): A student smashes the computer system in his school's main office. Vandalism? Sure. (Spawns near ULSA) "Suspicious Armored Car" (S03E06): An armored car company out of New Brunswick decides to go pickup some cash a long way from home. Apparently, cops in New Brunswick and Montreal don't look the same... Be sure to keep your chill (or not). (Spawns near Union Depository in downtown LS) "Active Shooter in Station 19" (S04E04): Rejected into the academy, the suspect walts into Station 19 seeking revenge. Play as an officer responding to the scene or a sergeant coordinating a box search. (Spawns near downtown station)

This callout will create an active manhunt within the Grove neighborhood. There will be several perimeter units to which will hold the containment. Therefore, the suspect will be within the containment and you don't have to waste time searching outside. There is also a command post where you will respond to for briefing.

Note: You must be a distance greater than 150 meters from Grove for this call to activate. This is intentionally done to prevent the player from seeing units spontaneously being spawned.
It is advised that you have HeliOrbitPlugin v1.3.6+ installed for best experience.

Make sure to put OJManhunt.dll and OJManhunt.ini into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.
Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.

    Introduction
This plugin adds callouts to the LSPDFR plugin. You can find a list of currently available callouts below.
It also comes with a feature to repair any vehicle with a dead engine.

    Features
    - Adds 6 callouts to the LSPDFR plugin.
    - Repair any vehicle's engine if it's broken.
    - A Quick Panic Button to quickly tell dispatch you're in trouble! Press the key 3 times.
    - A lot of customization in the included .ini file.

    Using the plugin
The callouts will appear randomly while you are on duty. You can also start a callout by typing “StartCallout (Callout Name here)” without the quotes and brackets in the RPH console.
If you are near a vehicle with a dead engine, a help box will appear in the upper left corner of your screen. Stand in front of the vehicle (Or wherever the engine and hood is) and press T by default to repair the engine. There is a 50% chance that the repair will be successful.

    Installation
Drag and drop everything inside the “Grand Theft Auto V” folder to your main GTA V directory.

    Default GTA V directory locations:

    Steam:

    Known bugs
If a bug is in this list, I am working on fixing it. If you have encountered a bug but it isn't in this list, I most likely don't know about it.

    - There are some performance issues due to some features. I am working on this. If you are really experiencing severe FPS loss due to First Callouts, you can disable the vehicle repair feature. This will improve the performance a little bit.
    - A rare crash in the gang shootout callout. You can disable the callout in the .ini file, or if you're living on the edge keep it enabled, it might crash.

This callout pack are based upon certain calls/scenarios that do not occur often. They bring another level of immersion, having Youtubers in mind to display some unique content for their viewers.

First Scenario: DUI Checkpoint in Strawberry.

Note: You need to use Callout Manager to activate these calls. You will not get them randomly while on patrol. You may receive an error (red subtitles) when trying to activate a call. This means you are within the spawn radius of the call and you need to drive away and activate again.

Make sure to put OJScenarios.dll and OJScenarios.ini into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.
Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.

This callout pack aims to bring more realism in terms of what police officers deal with on a daily basis; it's not always just shootouts and police pursuits, but rather incidents such as people acting suspiciously, and investigating people's actions.

Feel free to edit the .ini file to configure what callouts you want the game to spawn.

Overall, I hope you enjoy, and please leave a comment/review saying your opinion about any feature, and what needs to be improved/added. I'm trying to base callouts off of ones that haven't been added by other callout packs from my own knowledge, and if there are any that are similar, I will try and vary the context and the outcome to make it more diverse.

    CALLOUTS:
    ===========

Currently, there are eight callouts available as of v2.1.0.0:

Shoplifting (Clothing Store) - Asses the situation, and arrest the suspect if they are in possession of stolen items.

Suspicious Ammunition Purchase - A person is attempting to buy a large amount of ammunition - further information available when on-scene.

Objects On The Roadway - Clear the objects that are holding up vehicles to prevent any accidents occuring.

Suspicious Person - Unknown person who has been reported to be acting in a suspicious manner. Take precautions as you don't know what they have on them!

Assault with a Firearm - Get to the scene of this one quick, and attempt to take down the shooter. (Multiple callout locations - more coming).

Abuse Of 911 - Someone is wasting the emergency service's time by repeatedly phoning 911 when they don't need it. Investigate their phone to see if they have any recent logs or not.

Trespassing - Someone is on land that they shouldn't, whether it be residential land or commercial, or even military.

Vehicle Explosion - A fire or unknown event has caused a vehicle to explode.

Also, lots of credit to LtFlash for making the plugin CoordSaverV, as it was massively helpful in being able to determine spawn locations for these callouts.

Contains a .ini file to customise what callouts you receive in-game.

The gangs of LS are trying to take over the city. Fight back with the power of law enforcement. This plugin contains LSPDFR callouts that involve gangs. Expect multiple suspects who may not be best pleased to see the cops turn up to ruin their day.
    VIDEO COMING SOON!
    This version contains two callouts:
    Requirements:
A legal copy of GTA V RAGE PluginHook 0.45 LSPDFR 0.3.1 Install:
Place "GangCallouts.dll" into your Plugins\LSPDFR folder
GangCallouts will load automatically when you go On Duty.
    Known Issues:
Some users have reported a crash or incompatibility when calling for backup. I'm currently investigating this issue.

UPDATE: VERSION 0.1.2 NOW AVAILABLE. Some new callouts have been added, however due to my game not working at the moment they remain in an untested state, if you encounter any bugs please inform me by being as detailed as possible, IE: when the bug/crash happened, had you accepted the callout yet, were you arriving on scene, as well as any other information that you can think of.

Ravenguard callouts is a collection (two in total so far), that would be expected in the everyday duties of Officers, yet I have not seen them implemented in other plugins.

I just started learning to develop callouts, and this is a learning process. I intend for their to be more callouts, not sure on the amount but I would like to develop at least 5-8 different and unique callouts. I am releasing this in an early beta form and this is not to represent the final product.

I have tested this with most of the major callout plugins that you find on here and have had no issues so far. If you find something please leave a comment and a log if you get one. Screenshots are nice to.

    Current Callouts:
Domestic Disturbance (Two people are fighting and caller says one of them has a gun, this plugin will develop alot more with future releases)
Dead Body in Car (Someone called 911 saying that they think there is a dead body in a car, respond to the vehicle and find out)

    Future features that are planned:
Domestic dispute between neighbors (Handle the call as you see fit)
Stolen Vehicle (Want to add more depth to a stolen vehicle call. If the suspect pulls over will he tell you that you his gf is trying to get him arrested after a fight? Will he take off and attempt to flee? Or will he open fire on you as you approach. I would like to make it so there are many things possible for the suspect to do)

    As suggested by BlueSteelShield:
    Prowler
    Vandalism
    Parking violation
    Forgery(money)
    Accident(ped vs car)
    Missing person

And more will be added as I develop the callouts, also any ideas would be great I will do my best to implement the things the community wants.

Thank you for downloading Ravenguard Callouts!

-Beggar: (Planned) There are reports of a beggar harassing people on the streets. Check it out.
    Features:
-Dead ID. Press H near a dead body to check their ID. There is a chance you will not find any.
