  1. Oh I see, that makes sense. I didn't read it through properly. Thanks for clarifying
  2. Not at all rude, it's the simple truth. Exactly why I'm wandering why he's doing the State of Philadelphia, which has no relevance to the game seeing as it's set in Los Angeles. I would have thought he would be making an LA based Utility is all. Perhaps he's from Philadelphia, I'm just curious. I think it's fair to also say that most people want a vehicle for the environment it's set in, with GTA SA, LAPD vehicles were the most popular. With GTA IV the NYPD had the largest amount of mods, as well as the NYSP, so one would assume that the priority mods would be for GTA V to have LAPD vehicles. But of course, it's entirely at the modders discretion, if he wishes to make a Philly based vehicle then by all means. In my opinion though, he would satisfy more people doing an LAPD vehicle, because the LAPD and LASD have similar equipment, and very little would have to be changed, in fact, other than the skin most people would probably use the exact same vehicle (not realising the subtle differences between the two). The demand right now is for LAPD vehicles, then individual states come trickling through, that's what happened with GTA IV (when I joined the LCPDFR community)
  3. Well, on F5544's, there is the Arjent and the front grille lights, that's all there are. On this there is the Arjent and the rear lights only. I'm assuming it means that 18 light slots are taken by the arjent, leaving only two for anything else.
  4. I'm asking about the equipment, the skins aren't a problem because they are easy enough to make, although it's pointless having a CHP skin on a vehicle with the wrong equipment. Especially for the LSPD, based on the LAPD, it needs to have the Arjent lightbar because they're so disctintive and unique to the LAPD and LASD. The Philadelphia set-up is very different to the LAPD.
  5. I'm assuming you know something I don't? Is he making the LAPD and CHP vehicles afterward, because the only person I know doing that is Desmond98.
  6. Animate it so that he actually reaches for the radio when pressing the panic button, I'm assuming its a button on the radio as it is with our officers here in the UK. And if you can have a different audio sound: "Most agencies panic button is stating "10-18" or "step it up, code 3" over the radio if you're covert about it. Others will literally just scream "need assistance/backup":https://youtu.be/X1L1APOGhLI?t=2m29s10-18!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAPPpoFfqTENeed assistance!" That'd be really good, I'm assuming the LAPD will have this system in place, seeing how large they are
  7. Ditto, I wouldn't mind testing. Shame you're making Philadelphia PD, it'd be far more relevant to have an LA based department

  11. Well, it was based on information that we found, some had push-bars, bear in mind he lives on the other half of the planet, so there was no way for any of us (the guys involved in giving some information) to know that the push-bar's are only for traffic units, certainly that information would have been far more useful a couple of days ago, when the question was originally proposed. Secondly there is no way of getting a working traffic advisor until an ELS system comes into play, thus far all models haven't had a traffic advisor, the limitations of the lighting slots (around 20 according to F5544) means that only the most important emergency lighting can be use. Thirdly, unfortunately, KevinDV has an outstanding model for a lightbar, but is not allowing anyone to use it, I've contacted him and he's denied permission for anyone, including Desmond98, to use it. But please, if you do have any more images, diagrams (especially of the lighting or equipment) it will go a very long way to increasing the accuracy, I'm doing my best to provide information, but living across the Atlantic doesn't make me privy to inside out knowledge of the LAPD. I ask that you understand that this is a WIP, with plenty of work to do, so if you do find any bugs, that you should post them here.

  13. That's also the same pushbar, Setina PB-450L, however on the side of the bars instead of using the dual colour LED's made by the manufacturer, like the LAPD do (so they flash blue and red), the LASD seems to have placed a more protruding red only plastic cover on top. Both sides flash just red, and its more protruding, I'd expect that the LED's at the front of the push-bar are blue and red. Also, several other differences: the LASD have a circular shaped black antenna, instead of the other more hexagonal shaped antenna. It's placed in the middle of the roof, instead of being offset to the right as it is on the LAPD Utilities.*1 No flashing lights on the mirrors *2 It has 3 aerial antenna's, all different to each other, placed in the rear portion of the roof. *3 It has another antenna just behind the lightbar, central to the roof as well. 4* https://www.flickr.com/photos/68446122@N06/14335654730/in/photostream/ (1* Circular antenna in the middle of the roof) https://www.flickr.com/photos/68446122@N06/14522297085/in/photostream/ 2* https://www.flickr.com/photos/68446122@N06/14335654180/in/photostream/ 3* (1x silver antenna, 2 x black antennas) https://www.flickr.com/photos/68446122@N06/14335702769/in/photostream/ (1x Black antenna) Going through the images and zooming in will really help, its quite confusing to differentiate the antennas. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/1273-whelen-led-par-46-spotlight/ (better spotlight than the current one) this spotlight is more suitable for both the LAPD & LASD vehicles
  14. Yeah, plus if it was Sheriff, it'd be patroling in the wrong area. Police3 seems to be the right slot. It is afterall LSPD, not LSSD, so it belongs in one of the four Police slots.
  15. Yeah, take your time, rework what you need to. Am I right in thinking you haven't added the LED lights into the mirrors?
  16. Hamster, you should consider making an LAPD version of this vehicle. I don't know the extent of your modding skills, because this is an SR-T version, so there would have to be some changes made, such as the sports trim which would have to be removed, to convert it into a normal stock Charger, also the rims would have to be changed. That being said, LtMattJeter released as a DEV part, the right steel rims for a Dodge Charger PPV, which makes it much easier. I've attached the link for his steelies. Also, the Arjent lightbars are making an appearance very soon, maybe F5544 might release his as a DEV part as well. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8929-dev-dodge-charger-pp-steel-rims/ (Images of a Charger LAPD) https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8508/8554216009_08273724f6.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5547/14403572310_050b67f855_b.jpg
  17. Also, there aren't any aerials on the Utility, but they have this small black box by the light bar, image should show it, that's the only equipment that they seem to have on the roof, if you want to add that before releasing it tomorrow. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/LAPD_Ford_Explorer.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7227/13163889714_ef5d3f006e_b.jpg
  18. Another fix (sorry) the Ford badge on the rear is too big, you've got it going from the window to the plastic trim, when there's a little more space, the badge is a little smaller than the one used for the rear.
  19. @Desmond98 By the way, a correction. The rear light in your image (maybe because of the lighting) but it looks black, whereas IRL the light is red. The rear light does look black in your image. If you can, you should also add the balancing weights to the wheels, but thats a tiny detail really.
  20. You're not allowed to do this! I have to study, this seriously jeopardises my commitment to studying ;) Very good so far, quickly done, good luck with F5544, he's another outstanding member of the community who has released some really good mods.
