  3. LCPDFR: '80s Disco Edition Seriously though, thats pretty bloody cool. (I'm still using V6 at the moment, V7 confuses the hell out of me)
  4. May I remind you all of this line in our Community Guidelines: Now, I'm all for constructive criticism as I feel it helps the creator look at what went well and what didn't quite work which they can then apply to their next model. Everybody starts off at the bottom and slowly works their way up the ladder, if you'd asked me last year what a hierarchy was or how to put a car together with these unlocked parts, I would've laughed in your face and said I had no idea. Whilst I'm still attempting to create some small things from scratch in zModeler, the most I've done is modify the parts handed to me which'll be seen on my current model. Although my time is dedicated to my college work at the moment so I'm not sure when I'll get that thing finished. Back on topic though, I'd like to commend the following members for being the few members who stuck to our guidelines and defended the OP (who must've been feeling pretty shitty) KevinDV Cj24 strike Jetski343 AndrewL129 ScrimpyData visible25 Beckugan1 RTZVI I'm sure there's many I missed, but these posts were the ones that caught my attention. As for the OP; Continue with what you're doing buddy. It looks pretty darn good! Don't listen to people that moan "Oh here we go, ANOTHER CVPI." They seem to be forgetting how many LAPD & NYPD CVPI's (as well as others I'm sure) that are currently in the modding community. Make whatever car you want. This community will stick by you throughout as we have proven time and time again.
  5. Reasonably high settings, four ELS car mods, numerous script mods, Multiplayer. With that combo, I can play for a solid hour or two with nobody crashing out.
  6. No, you're not right. If you'd taken the time to read my post you would've seen: "Confirmed by the official @SouthLAnd_TNT twitter account" Ben Mckenzie, Regina King and Michael Cudiltz have all confirmed via their twitter that the show is no more, although Ben stated he would happily support a Kickstarter project to get a finale..
  7. It just annoys me how absolute crap like "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Toddlers and Tiaras" constantly get renenewed even though we know they are absolute rubbish. (A toddler who thinks she's a supermodel and a fat mother who exploits her child? Yeah, great TV) I'll miss SouthLAnd. @Justin - Yeah, it's left us on a huge cliffhanger of which we may never find out the result.
  8. Today marks a very sad day in television history. One of the best cop shows around has officially announced it won't be coming back for a sixth season. Just ignore the fact that shit like "Toddlers and Tiaras" and "16 and pregnant" is currently getting new seasons. After a posting from the official SouthLAnd twitter account, I became concerned. Within minutes I had discovered one of the most saddening things I've read regarding television. @Southland_TNT Confirmed via numerous news outlets. Source: http://variety.com/2013/tv/news/southland-canceled-by-tnt-1200479187/ Feel free to discuss your thoughts and fondest memories of this show, I've lost faith in TV.
  9. Know if anyones ported or re-made the Nurburgring? I love that track.
  10. "Now comes with a free virus!"
  11. I need links to that article they came from!

  13. Right, I've searched high and low for something like this but Google has given me nothing. Is anybody aware of an accurate (or just a multiple) NYPD pack? I'm looking for the usual CVPI / Chargers but with multiple liveries so that there's skins for Highway Patrol (I'm not fussed about not having accurate lightbars for that division), Auxiliary and regular patrol? If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
  14. O_O I'll stick to V6 for now and attempt to tackle V7 at the weekend.
  15. The default one from the game can be found here:
  16. Very nice. Looks sexy
  17. I doubt we'll lose 70,000 + members just because we couldn't release an update to a FREE modification before GTA V was released. Besides, there's no decent policing sidemission in V (that we know of), so people will come back to IV to play LCPDFR until we (if its possible) port it to V.
  18. Fair enough. Could you imagine the hell a Driving Standards Agency or the police would go through if one existed in LC? "Yeah, I need a check on a yellow taxi, plate is "LIBERTY CITY". ... fuck.
  19. Same thing happened in San Andreas bro. Plus, the plate would correspond to where the car spawned. For example, if a car spawned in LV, "Las Venturas" would appear just above the actual letters, was pretty nice although I doubt V will have something similar :(
  20. According to one reporter, there's three counties of Law Enforcement Which explains the new police cars we saw.
  21. 6. Not possible. If previous GTA's are anything to go by, the map isn't populated all the time, it'd take too much processing power. Traffic and pedestrians spawn around you then de-spawn when you're out of range, something complex like "traffic reports" just wouldn't work. 11. I don't see this ever being true, sure there are some people like me who actually enjoy driving like a normal person in GTA games but there are times when we just want to race through the streets, I can gurantee a mission or two will have a time limit to get to a certain area, the police won't chase you unless you hit someone or ram a cop car. Wanted levels: The police will chase you on foot and in vehicles WITH sirens and lights at any level. Always have and always will. Oh, and its already been confirmed that there are only FIVE wanted levels. Nice rumors though, but that's all that are.
