Well, its happened. Microsoft have essentially killed off the last amount of interest from any true gamers and fully dived into the casual gamers and socialite lifestyle. Yesterday (or earlier today for you americans), Xbox Rep "Major Nelson (Larry Hybb) posted on his blog of what the Xbox ONE will feature which has caused a massive backlash from gamers around the world, myself included. I don't think I need to explain why thats absolute bullshit. What if you wanna take your console to a place where you won't have an internet connection? When asked about this controversial move, microsoft said "You can always use mobile broadband" which means YOU need to pay even more money to an ISP to play the games you bought. Have Microsoft essentially handed us the gun and put an apple on their head? Will you be sticking to PC and/or getting a PS4?

Tip: Most laptops have an area on the touchpad where you can disable it. Mine for instance, is in the top left corner of the touchpad, I just tap it twice to disable it. It stops the annoying mis-clicks when typing.

Not to get too offtopic, but David Tennant was the best doctor IMO. I lost interest when Matt Smith took over, not to mention Tennant's last episode was damn emotional.

Very true, I'll leave the feature to LCPDFR then, I want the scripts to work together instead of mine trying to take all the speech features. I have however found some very very cool unused audio for some of the cops that could be implemented as different features, one that really stuck out for me: Thanks for the help, but remember - We're trained professionals Now if only I could think of a situation that could be used in. Hell, I could just give the player model some more "life" instead of being a mute police officer. Others; "You wanna go to jail? Get out of here" "I'll have the freshest donuts you have" "Reporting another accident" I think something could be done with the "Cover Me" speech files, perhaps all police AI in the area could direct their fire to the suspect firing at the player? Hmm. I'll see what I can do with this

The script is finished although I'm tweaking it (or attempting to) before I release the beta. After feedback from my testers, people wanted the cars to pull over so I obliged. The code is there to make them use the taxi's way of stopping (when you hail it) but they still leave the cars in the side of the road. I did attempt to put in a way for the script to stop them doing this, but I'm stuck. Any ideas would be awesome. If not, I'll release the script how it is and work on another way of getting these vehicles out of the way, possible I could make them turn around or drive off at speed as you probably would if you heard and saw gunshots. EDIT: If enough people want it, I'll add the ability for the same effects to apply when used on foot.

Sorry, but this is an awful, awful server. Now I can understand why the good RP servers on ArmA require you to sign up. Here's what I encountered when I tried playing there: People ran up to you and just hit the button to steal your money then ran off The police didn't know how to do shit and were corrupt as fuck One time, me and my friend were sick of it. We were being pulled over every five minutes and I wish I was joking but I'm being deadly serious. Eventually, it gets to the seventh time in half hour that they tried to pull us over, so I floor it hoping for a decent chase. I was in an SUV so I went offroad, the police though? Nope. They fucking shot us with the gun on the roof of their truck and killed us. Another time, they were randomly opening fire on civ's. I was driving down the road behind a police car because it was the only road into the main city. They didn't like this and used the gun on the roof to kill me. This is what happens when you let everyone onto an RP server then have no admins that give a shit to deal with it. Since that, I never went back. Its totally fucking useless. I applied for CL2 (google it, I'm not putting its full name here) and was accepted, its a much much better community with some very nice mods, although I haven't played in a few weeks

I had this problem last week, after arguing with a R* rep on twitter for a good hour (they kept trying to say it was an error on my end) they admitted it was an issue with their IV issues. They sent me an email containing this:

I'd be disappointed if that was the actual map. Considering R* had said: "It'll be bigger than RDR, SA and LC combined" and "Our biggest map yet"

Traffic stops and pursuits will work, but not much else.

I suggest using the LessOvertaking.net mod. When you're stationary, vehicles will stop behind you for a maximum of twenty seconds before trying to drive around you, its very very helpful.

LCPDFR uses the taxi system for the traffic stop system. For example, before starting the mod hail a cab and see how it pulls over. Then load up the mod and start a traffic stop. Once the mod has been loaded, all cars outside of LCPDFR lose the function to pull over. You'll need to restart your game and not activate LCPDFR.
