Job: SecurityOfficer at an Oilsupply base. Playing LCPD:FR because i got hooked while watching youtube videos. Concidering applying to either The Norwegian police academy (PHS) or prison academy. This is just MAYBE, have to see what "future me" wants.

Was watching the live wall here when it suddenly came to me. If someone where to make their own server running GTA IV- LCPD:FR would it be possible to have a live wall just for that server say on your own profilepage? Its not a demand or anything , just thought it would be cool to have. Picture this: Someone is watching the live wall and wants to join in on that same action,then they just type in the server adress and boom they are in. And btw...the live wall is wierdly hypnotic. Its like watching the matrix screensaver. Its hard to stop XD If you dont know where the live wall is then you can find it by clicking the crime stats button up in the right there next to gallery.

I found this using google. just copyy and pasted it: "What i did was this: Installed the game. Then installed the official patch for the game, i have 1.01 but there is a newer one 1.02. 1.01 is vital if you want to get the game to work. I would not recommend 1.02 if you are cracking the game, i.e. replacing the original .exe with a cracked virsion. I didn't bother updating to 1.02. Regardless what you decide, just find the patch online download it and install the patch after you've installed the game. Ok theeen, don't start the game yet. Installed net framework 2.0 ( at least). i run xp x64 so it only has the 2.0 at the moment, but i think there is already a 3.5 for the 32 bit windows. Where to find it, easy, go to microsoft and go to the download section.... or just search it on microsoft.com for whatever system you have ( xp, vista). Once you properly install that. then it should work. I probably don;t need to mention that if for some odd reason rockstar cluband windows live were not installed with the game, then they must be otherwise the game won't work. Again if you are cracking the game, you are on your own... i dont't know what you are using, you have to follow their instructions after doing everything i typed out here. Warning though, this game is soooooo needy, like a spoiled hot, big tittied wife. IT will lag to death on high settings... and not graphic settings like quality, nooo that's ok if you have a good card. No i mean more on like vision distance and traffic density and other cpu spawned *****. I play it on a moderately tolerably level. Settings for graphics are all high (like i said if you have a good card it won't affect the game performance much) but my view distance is 20-25, shadows are off or on 1, and traffic densisty is moderately mediocre."

Run the diagnistictool and post the log here. If something is wrong there someone will see it. and a small advice, be patient...People might just not answer if you are unpatient.

oh. LoL sorry. I downloaded it without actually seeing who it was from. Spent 20 minutes trying to find it again.. Thought i did.. im really looking forward to do some MP action with my friends. Just waiting for them to actually get computers. :blush:

The car is downloaded from ASTTrprDillon95 and is named 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor "VSP" - VERSION: CVPI_VSP_V2.0 (V2) The car does not belong to me,i just made that skin. It isnt perfect either but i can send you the skin if you like. PM me for details.

Just throwing eggs at chickens here,but do you by any chance play on multiplayer and not singleplayer? If so check if you have set the traffic to parked.

Just for fun i would like to know how many bought GTA IV just for this mod? I can tell you right here and now that i sure did. I bought GTAIV/EFLC almost a year ago and still havent played the vanilla missions Before i got my computer i remember watching youtube movies about this mod and getting even more geard up on getting this. Its not the main reason i got a computer but it sure did speed up the buying process. So how about you? BTW: The pictures was a skin i made just for this topic. Yeah iguess it`s stupid but i thought it would suit the topic. And i REALLY like this mod. so.....SUE ME. XD (Dont sue me)

I cant say anything for other countrys policeofficers (since im from Norway) But i do like the ones from my community. Had one episode with the police superintendant there wich was a bit cool. I was out walking my dog one late evening and i was just about to cross the police office yard when the superintendant drove out infront of me in a place where civilians ordinary would get a ticket from driving out from. I shaked my finger at him with a joking expression on my face and he stopped. I said to him: "you are not allowed to drive here" And he said to me laughing "Im allowed to drive where ever i want". Then we started to talk about the car (VW Passat 2011 stationwagon unmarked policecar) And i asked him if it was his car. I answered: "No, it belongs to the policeoffice. We are not allowed to have this on our private cars" then he turned on the blue flashing lights. It was awesome!

Just wondering if it is possible to get the environmentlight to flash yellow. And if so..How is it done? Have looked in the ELS.ini but there wasnt any code for yellow.

Yes. Dont know how but it somehow transformed into a shortcut. And was named Paint.NET. Dont ask how, cuz i simply just dont know how. ;-)
