Please don't tag Youtubers. They have enough people trying to get their attention every day. If they want to download and give feedback, they will. The only thing turning me off from the Blaine County texture is the yellow "Sheriff". During the night it looks good, but during the day when it's sunny? Practically invisible. Also, I recommend zipping up your files instead of having them all as independent downloads. This is helpful for everyone, especially in terms of organization. -

Do what, take the files and put them somewhere else? Go to where the car files are at that you're wanting. Drag and drop them onto your desktop. Now navigate to the very newest patchday that has a vehicles.rpf. Rename the car files on your desktop to "police". Click "edit mode" in open iv drag and drop the renamed files into open iv. click "edit mode" again and you're done.

Absolutely beautiful, and really adds for roleplay! The only bug I've found is when turning on headlights, the lights on the lightbar also turn on, so it looks like the takedowns are on.- 15 comments

Not a fan of the editing. Takes away from the car and the scene. -
Rockstar is not going to send you a free copy of a triple A, formerly $60 game. I don't know the timeline of when your disc drive no longer worked, but I assume at the time of getting the game it worked. This means the problem is on you, not Rockstar. It's your responsibility to buy the game again if you wan to play it. My guess is because it's on Steam, right there whenever you need it. No need to insert a disc, no need for extra steps, just click to install.

That is true, but if the vehicle does not have lights on it, which is what I was getting at, I don't believe it'll work. Take the vehicle files and put them in a law enforcement slot such as police, police2, etc. If you try and make a default slot law enforcement, you're going to have civilians driving around in cop cars.

Ok, hold on, what slot is the car in now? XD Is it in the slot it was originally in and you just tried making it law enforcement?

There isn't a "best" graphics mod. Everyone has their own tastes and opinions on what is the best. You'll get people saying x, y,z and so forth. It comes down to what you like best for your game, and the style you want your game to look like. My advice is install different graphics mods and try them out. They are easy to install and uninstall, just remember to back up your original files before replacing.

I feel your pain, as I've had to do this a few times as well. I will say, this isn't something we did. It's whoever made that specific captcha system. I'd love to not have to deal with it, I'd love to not even have a captcha system. That just isn't viable with how people are, unfortunately. Others ruin it for those that have done nothing wrong.

Have you added the car to a police slot, such as police, police2, etc?

Are you a vehicle developer trying to make a car a police vehicle, or are you asking if you can spawn any old civilian car and patrol with it? If it's the latter, you can't.
