  1. I think there should be a mod to set the randomiser to create a custom plate of sorts. For example, input 'XX00 XXX' into some command thing, and when you spawn a car, you get 'BX65 RGB'. There's probably someone working on it. But it's something British modders will absolutely love.
  2. God damn it, I was just about to do this... Oh well, this is a damn fine texture. Maybe I'll upload a pre-Battenberg edition. Whoops, I can't.
  3. You mean this? What kind of image editing software are you using for this, then? GIMP? Photoshop? I'll give you some pointers for the software, if that helps. You really could be something big if you eventually invest your time in it. Get some practice, maybe, and follow a few tutorials. Sure, there's not a lot out for UK police vehicle textures, but maybe you'll learn a few tricks of the trade. Me? I just picked up some skills from school, a template pack and ran with it.
  4. Now this is what I'm talking about! Bet you took some liberties from me, didn't you? But I'm just going to give you a few pointers: 1. The rear end needs some work. The reflectives would not stretch out onto the top of the boot lid in real life, and do not stretch out onto the rear bumper at all. 2. The roof markings are a bit off. While I understand that's a model issue, I would suggest slightly altering the text so it fits more appropiately below the lights. 3. The battenburgs also need some work. Really appreciate how you got the doorlines marked out, but the crest is too small, there is too much battenburg at points, and you really should put in a 'POLICE' text at the bottom. Here's something that I really wish you'll eventually emulate. No means to be rude at all, just trying to help. I really need to make a tutorial.
  5. Good on you. Well I can't even play GTA V, so I can't really help out anything aside from texturing, but I'll still follow your work. You seem mighty promising.
  6. The problem is, however, you've edited the original bus textures. Some bad reviews may come due to this. If you really want to impress some people, use these templates if your editing skills are good enough. However, someone has already done the Stagecoach national textures: Take some inspiration, but please don't plagarise.
  7. I could have been doing this all myself. :(
  8. Because someone decided to bump the thread really stupidly, we're going to have to start a new topic. Let's get some things straight. GTAPOLICEMODS HAS CLOSED DOWN, AND WILL NOT RETURN. Sure, we were slightly malinformed, but if the infrastructure and pageviews are failing, its what they have to do. MODELS ARE NOT CURRENTLY DOWNLOADABLE. This is the most serious effect - two of my mods cannot be used with non-els cars now, a large percentage of LCPDFR models retextures cannot be used because the site is down. A MOD ARCHIVE IS TO BE SET UP ON HIGHSPEED-GAMING.COM, HOWEVER NO DATE HAS BEEN GIVEN. BxBugs told me, however, nothing much has happened since. However, he has released some 'critical' GTA IV mods onto the site by one or two people's request. Currently, we have to wait patiently until the archive is up and running to get your mods back. I hope this is informative for you. Its a real shame it had to close down, and I wish everyone the best who is trying to recover and reupload. EDIT: It's nearly been five months since I created this topic, and nearly a whole year on, we've had no answer. GTAPoliceMods is well and truly dead. The odds of it coming back are starting to slim out, and reuploading of mods has not happened. I would reupload what I have in my folders, but for one, it is technically piracy, and also, I may not possess all that is required for some of the mods. But worry not! The fight isn't over! There is still hope it will come back. Someday.
  9. Text to speech is an absolute no-no in my book. Natural voices will only work. Texto para fala é um absoluto não-não em meu livro. Vozes naturais só funcionam.
  10. Great model, currently texturing with it, shame it doesn't have a front plate. I've gone from hating plate templates because they are 'annoying' to wanting all good models with templates with different plate textures and templates. That's what one year of LCPDFR does to ya.
  11. When I was posting my rant, I couldn't make a line break, and had to refresh my post. Sort of similar, but it was solved instantly.
  12. Don't know if this breaks the rules of the site, but is it possible for someone to provide me with some screenshots? In case you haven't read past posts, I can't play GTA V because I broke my serials and also, my game. So if you wish to help, send me screenshots of any kind - OpenIV or in-game - and I'll try and figure out uploading GTA V stuff from there.
  13. Now we can make Libel cars!

This is it. The end of an era. All the Met Police, LFB and LAS vehicles I have made over last year and this year are here for your enjoyment. These Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade vehicles have been put into one pack, all arranged to be put into each and every emergency vehicle slot. These can be used for LCPDFR, other media and the vanilla game if you want, and if you do use if for LCPDFR or other media, credit me for the textures. All these are Non-ELS, but with the right template, they can be used for ELS models. If you want a model individually, they are displayed here: Metropolitan Police Vapid Stanier (police) (Updated! New plates and roof markings in pack!) Metropolitan Police Declasse Merit (police2) Metropolitan Police Dundeary Landstalker ARV (polpatriot) Metropolitan Police Bravado Buffalo (noose) London Ambulance Service Brute Burrito Ambulance (ambulance) London Fire Brigade MTL Fire Truck (firetruk) NPAS Metropolitan Poice Buckingham Swift (polmav) Metropolitan Police Brute Burrito Station Van (pstockade) Metropolitan Police TSG Brute Enforcer (nstockade) Recommended siren: After this, more modern Metropolitan Police and other such vehicles will be coming out, and maybe even some other forces' vehicles. So at the end of an era, don't redistribute without my permission, and enjoy this pack!
  14. Something big is coming. Within the week, one big mod, one small one, and a new era. Stay tuned.
  15. All you need to do now is delete the other screenshots, then I'll be well and truly satisfied. Aside from some minor texture issues, this is a pretty good skin.
  16. Could you retake your screenshots in the daytime or in a light area please? Can barely see the skin.
  17. CURRENT SITUATION - 23:00GMT Police officer Keith Palmer has died after being stabbed outside the Houses of Parliament Four other people died, including attacker, and at least 40 others were injured The assailant drove into people on Westminster Bridge before reaching the Houses of Parliament The attacker was shot and killed by police Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley says it is believed the attacker was inspired by international terrorism Theresa May condemns the attack as "sick and depraved" The PM insists attempts to undermine British values are 'doomed to failure' Metropolitan Police is urging those involved to call its casualty bureau on 0800 056 0944 or 020 7158 0010
  18. No. No, no, and NO. As @Constable Lego said, this is not the time to debate this. Bad things have happened, but the Met does not need guns for normal patrols. And that's that.
  19. By going up, I mean it is extremely likely, to clarify. I think I'll update the main body of my post soon.
