Hey guys, I'm really not sure if this has been addressed or if anyone else has noticed this, but I'm having issues with backup using ELS. One of two things will happen. For one, the backup will show up with their takedowns on... either day or night. This doesn't always happen, but when it does it just looks silly. And another thing I've noticed is that the LODs (I guess it is them?) are terrible on most ELS vehicles. When moving just a little bit away from ELS backup, I see lights / coronas where there are no lights such as on the side of the doors or in the middle of the windshield. This has to be the case for 75% of the vehicles that are in my game, including many of the new 2015 Tahoes. I know the LOD / corona issue is probably an issue with the model and can't really be fixed by a user, but does anyone else have this problem? Also does anyone know how to make it so backup will not appear with their takedowns on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you just look through the texture section until you find one you like? There's plenty of skins for that pack honestly, it's really your job to pick which one you want in your game, not ours.

Where did you buy it? I myself have bought Shark Cards from various places including Amazon, Walmart, and directly from the in-game menu, and I haven't had an issue with any of them. Maybe you bought it from a scam site? Rockstar is very good about giving people stuff they have lost. I remember I had an issue transferring my character and they had to transfer a previous version of my character and every Shark Card that had gone on my account after the previous version that had to be transferred, they gave me. It doesn't sound like them to just ignore your request if you actually did buy the card from a reputable source. Also, @Hystery is right... there's always some sort of proof when you buy a Shark Card as well.

Hi Final, Where are you attempting to add the cars for the police2 or police3 slots? Should be some sort of patchday or another DLC. Also, for future reference, this post should have probably been posted in the support section of GTA V, or here. I'm sure it will get moved soon, though.

In my game I have a mixture of cars, including Captain14's packs (all of them, in fact). And I also have ELS vehicles installed, a custom carcols for Captain14's packs, as well as another custom carcols for other add on vehicles that do not have ELS. Here's how I manage this mess. As you know Captain14 installs DLCs for each pack. Keep those DLCs installed, but then add in your own custom cars DLC, which can be found here. All cars that you want to add in that are not part of his pack, add in there. Also, you can manage carvariation files for those add on cars as well as manage the vehicles.meta for those add on cars. This allows you to keep your ELS cars / add on cars separate from the DLC packs that Captain14's pack installs.

I'm at a loss of what I'm doing wrong here. Ever since ELS came out, I have been trying to find a new default siren to place into my game because obviously I cannot really use Siren Mastery anymore. I understand that Siren Mastery lets you adjust volume, however EVERY siren I have installed is very muffled and low, and you can barely hear it. I believe I have installed them correctly (either replacing the vehicles.awc file or using Import Open formats and creating a folder with a vehicles file and vehicles.oac) however they all seem very low. Here is a list of sirens I have tried: Federal Smart Siren Federal Signal LAPD Federal Signal Smart Siren PA 300 I realize that these tones are going to be lower than Siren Mastery, but you can barely hear them. And when I used to play without Siren Mastery, I am nearly positive they were not this low. Any suggestions?

I've lived in New Jersey for most of my life and from just driving around I think everyone can agree that NJSP has a heavy reliance on CVPI's, Tahoes, and now Caprices. However while I was driving today I saw a 2016 FPIU trooper. This is the first one I've ever seen and I'm curious to see if this will start to replace the huge amount of CVPI's. Anyone who lives in or near NJ, have you seen any of the new utilities?

No problem. Yea you most likely did. I've never heard of a gameconfig editing story mode progress.

The main way to tell if your game config is working is to install a good amount of add on cars without a crash, but I'm sure you know this already. Gameconfigs do not alter story mode progress, however there are game saves that can be downloaded that have already been completed, such as this one. These alter different files, not the gameconfig.

There was an announcement made regarding the removal of this feature.
