Hi, just to follow up with my other post, I tried to make an entry for Park Rangers but I keep messing up and then CustomBackup tells me that it didn't load fully. Also, when I try to change the button on the controller in the .ini, it doesn't seem to recognize the change.- 378 comments

My game is crashing left and right this morning. I don't know why. I was able to play roughly 40 minutes ago without issue, but now the game crashes while loading. I have taken out my mods and plugins folders, but the game is still crashing. RagePluginHook_27072016_141536.log RagePluginHook_27072016_142346.log

that's not how it works, update.rpf is only meta files

Then it's an issue with your mods folder. Delete it and start over.

I have an interesting issue with my mods folder. So I install all the vehicles, blah blah blah, and everything works for a couple days, but then for whatever reason, the game out of nowhere decides my mods folder is bad and I have to start all over. Everything is fine and dandy for two or three days but then it just crashes and I have to start over. Any suggestions?

vehicles go in the latest patchday. Unless your me, I have vehicles scattered everywhere. But most people just put them in the latest patchday.

Good morning, Sir; I was just wondering, how do I equip SWAT officers with carbines? I only see the option to equip all officers with pistols. Also, how do I call for Park Ranger backup?

Copy the entire folder called Update, the entire x64e, and the the entire x64 (for sound mods).

@Thehurk I currently have this in my Sheriff2 and Police3 slots. I'd like to put this in my Park Ranger slot with a Ranger skin. Do you know where I would find the lights edit for the Ranger? Thanks in advance.- 158 comments

you could've just deleted your mod folder

You have to replace those mod files with backup files. If you didn't make backups, you have to delete your mods folder and start over. Rage isn't crashing, your bad mod files are.

Something, I don't know what, is wrong with the meta files.

I should probably include that this started happening after I installed Thehurk's F350. Also, can RDE be used with LSPDFR?

When I am playing regular o'l story mode and I get a wanted level, only Police3 and NOoSE will respond if I am in the city. Is it a problem? Not really, I just would prefer other units to respond, and I'd also like to know why only Police3 will respond.

If you have retail version, run GTA V and it should update automatically. I have retail and have installed every single update since January of this year, so I don't know what your problem is.

In you computer's search bar, type C:\Program Files, and click on what comes up. Do NOT click on Program Files (x86). Then go to Rockstar Games, click that, then GTA V, and put LSPDFR and Rage in there. Just put everything in there.
