Not sure yet, but it'd probably be a regular clothes guy with maybe a shoulder holster or something. If I found a decent Nathan Drake that would be sick. But it was just something that popped into my mind, and I was curious if that technique could even work. Thanks again for all your help, BTW. Hey guys, Another quick question to ask and annoy everyone here on the forums as I attempt to learn more about the guts of this game... Anyways, my question: I have seen a ped modification that would work as an undercover detective, however the W files (wtd wdd wft) aren't the ones you'd use in spark IV to replace the M_Y_FIB/Detective looking guys. So...what if I renamed those files to the FIB or detective names and placed those files in spark IV....would it then work that way, or would I just break my game. Thanks in advance, --Lee

basically from the vanilla version of LCPDFR, I want the white traffic cop's head (The one with the green eyes and brown hair and goatee) on the body of a regular cop (black uniform) The vanilla version's traffic cop to me looks kinda funny with their baby blue uniform and white hats. However, the head is average looking, and the voice associated with it isn't ridiculously stupid (lots of cussing, but meh...) Anyways, I hope that makes sense. If there's a way to take a screenshot in game, please let me know and I'll take a picture of the head I would like switched to a standard LCPD uniform. Sorry for the double post but I'm pulling my f***ing hair out! Is it possible to take the white head from the my_traffic cop_white and place his head texture onto the regular uniform that my_cop_latin uses? I've spent 5 hours now going back and forth from spark IV and GTAIV, and I can get the white head texture onto the body, but the lines don't match up at all. PLEASE SOMEONE PLEASE freakin' throw me a bone here and offer a hint or a clue. Countless searches on google haven't helped at all either.

That would be amazing, Officer! Thank you very much. Phillip, I'm not 100% sure of what could be causing that. Try the debug tool. It's been posted in the LCPDFR support forum. I'd check that. I haven't used it before but I've heard it helps solve lots of issues. Good luck, and I'm sorry I don't have any better suggestions.

Yes, exactly. The White cop head belongs to the traffic cop body model, which is in a light blue uniform, that just looks ridiculous. I would like to take that model's head and use a body model from a regular LCPD officer which is in a black uniform. And I have absolutely no idea on how to approach that. Thanks for the help, btw.

Well, I don't think it should go into the support forum, because it's not really a question pertaining to how to play LCPDFR, or issues with the game. I could be wrong though...

Hey guys... So here's the situation. In the vanilla install of LCPDFR the player model MY_Traffic Cop White has a head which I like because it's a basic, average looking white guy. However, the uniform he is using is well, as the file says, a traffic cops. I want to use that head model on the basic LCPD uniforms, which happens to be black (not the baby blue that traffic cops apparently use) I installed a uniform mod that used nice black uniforms, but unfortunately it got rid of the white head completely, and replaced it with a scary ex-military possible skin head looking guy.....0.o Is there any way that I could keep the head model from the MY_Traffic Cop White and use it with a basic black LCPD uniform, while maintaining some semblance of fitness? (As the only other white cop in a black uniform looks as though he could be close to 300Lbs, lol ) Thanks in advance!

Man...I didn't know those cars caused crashes....I almost DLed them right away...Although Bid96 is on top of it because I searched GPM for hours and still never found them. Too bad they crash games...I'd have them and I probably wouldn't be off my computer for hours and hours, lol. I agree. I've heard LCPDFR by itself is really stable on MP, hence why I want a vanilla RP group. At any rate, I'm told that LCPD clan uses Episodes from Liberty City, for their group which uses The Ballad of Gay Tony. I've only got the basic Grand Theft Auto 4, and unfortunately, I don't have the 20 bucks it costs to buy the Episodes from Liberty City add-on which includes TBOGT. Or am I confused and LCPD is a seperate RP clan from Liberty City Police?

The reason I ask for anyone willing to play using vanilla is because I hear mods cause instability on MP, especially ELS and some car mods. The truth of that, I don't know. I'm also looking for an RP group that would use the Police Computer system and vanilla LCPDFR, but I don't think such a group exists. I applied for LCPD as they're an amazing group, but the addon they use I don't own, and I'm strapped for cash and will not likely be able to buy it for quite some time. Thanks for the help smoke, I'll add you up. Also, thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction to a vanilla RP group.

Ahh. Does that traffic mod by chance fix the rear enders when you're stopped, or do you have the Less Overtake mod? I wouldn't think you did based on that last stop... Thanks again for the vid! I always enjoy watching them. But that last one...damn, what a rough patrol! :cool:

Just finished the first one! I really liked it but I think you might have the taxi bug...as in no other cars except for taxis, lol. However, while I haven't seen the other videos yet (I fully plan to) it looks like you may have fixed it.

Breathalyzer?! OMG! That sounds perfect too because honestly, I'm experiencing the whole muggings/domestics/suicides callouts bug in LCPDFR...I never seem to get anything else. This sounds really neat! I can't wait until they approve my account. Now if I could just figure out how to install darker uniforms for my police characters, I'll be in hog heaven! I downloaded a uniform pack, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to install it. It seems very complicated...

It helps quite a lot, actually, still a bit complicated ( for my slow-learning brain), but definitely something I'm going to get into! I just signed up for it in fact, lol. Thank you both, gentlemen for helping me out and getting me pointed in the right direction!

Thanks Justin! Immediately after I had posted this, I ran across that thread and was reading and trying to understand exactly how it works. I posted in their thread too. My understanding is there is a sort of dispatch system that you can respond too, yet the webpages' events are not linked to the in-game events, so I'm confused as to how one is supposed to take any actions. I'm not trying to be snarky or insulting, if that is how I sound, because I'm very interested in participating myself, but I just don't know how, lol.
