  1. I'd happily integrate Agency Callouts into any Computer-related plugin, though I'm not sure I'd use one myself (AFAIK most if not all Aussie states now give our cops tablets, so the in-car restriction doesn't make a great deal of sense for me personally, and I've built my own aus-themed records search). The "phase 10" idea is definitely something I'd be keen for, I've been trying to work out a reasonable way to store past convictions/offences using XML for a little while now. Like Fiskey said though, I don't think it'd be possible without basically recreating the persona system with more flexibility.
  2. That will pause the ped (though in my experience it doesnt seem to work too well, .StandStill seems to be more reliable)..... what Stealth is asking for is a way to add the ped to a "traffic stop" (not necessarily a "traffic" stop, but the "stopped by police" state they go into when you first hold E/DPadRight). It'd mean for example, when you roll up to a callout the ped would already be "stopped" allowing you to press E/DPadRight to get their ID, without doing the whole "stopping" step first.
  3. Quick question regarding the API, what does the suspects plea actually do? I can't seem to see any difference in the outcome of my tests so far.
  4. Finally got my computer to work long enough for a decent length patrol in Macgregor's Ford XR6 Turbo. Not normally a fan of Fords, but this car was a lot of fun to drive so I'm sure it'll make a few more appearances.
  5. I'm trying to set the owner of a vehicle using the following code: Persona ownerPersona = Functions.GetPersonaForPed(owner); Game.LogTrivial("Owners name is " + ownerPersona.FullName); Functions.SetVehicleOwnerName(myVehicle, ownerPersona.FullName); string oName = Functions.GetVehicleOwnerName(myVehicle); Game.LogTrivial("Vehicle Owners name is " + oName); According to the log, the name is being set correctly, yet whenever I run the plate with Police Radio I'm getting some other random name? Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible to force a ped to own a vehicle with Police Radio? Running the plate via the normal LSPDFR radio returns the correct name, but most people use Police Radio so I'd prefer it to be compatible with both. If it makes any difference, I'm spawning the owner outside the vehicle, warping them into it, then assigning them the Wander task for part of the callout. The name setting code above is being called after the ped is wandering, when the officer arrives on scene.
  6. Darkmyre posted a gallery image in GTA V Galleries
  7. For today's stream I was assigned to the Los Santos Port area for a stolen vehicle blitz, interrupted by some random incidents involving shots fired.
  8. Slight 'issue' since the latest version, it seems F11 triggers Traffic Policer callouts (or maybe just the DUI one actually, as I got this one the couple of times it happened before I set them all to false). Would be great if we could at least re-bind that key to something else... I already use F11 for both police radio and to start OBS recording.
  9. Davis Sheriff Office attacked by unknown gang members, multiple officers down.
  10. To be fair, its Take-Two Interactive that are the douches, not R*.
Great callouts, really enjoyed the Racing in Parking Lot call.
  11. using LSPD_First_Response.Engine.Scripting.Entities; String fullname = Persona.GetRandomFullName();
  12. Took the unmarked VE Commodore out for a short highway patrol today, and managed to shut down a bunch of street racers.
  13. We really do need a Functions.SetPedAsWanted(bool) or a way to set ped.isWanted, though.
  14. Finally got a break from the chaos and weirdness for a decent patrol in the Paleto area. Also a bit of a preview of an extended records check plugin I threw together over the weekend.
  15. Best way IMO is to tweak it yourself, then you'll get precisely how many cars/peds you want/your system can handle. Just open /mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5/popcycle.dat in a text editor and edit the numbers to your liking.
  16. Personally, if they're suspended I arrest them and tow the vehicle. If they're expired, depending on the situation I'll either impound the vehicle, cite them, and call them a taxi, or sometimes just cite them and let them drive off. Reason I sometimes let them drive off is we don't get a lot of scope of how expired the license is. I've known people who've been let off after being pulled over within a couple weeks of their license expiring, and so I kinda roleplay this for some of the suspects.
  17. Patrolling the Vespucci area (at least that was the plan) plain-clothed in an unmarked car. There seems to be a spate of grand theft auto's in GTA today, with some criminals even competing for the same car!
  18. That's gotta be one of my favorite features of this plugin, something other plugins dealing with peds dont seem to do at all.
  19. Obviously it's your call, but you shouldn't feel you need to remove a callout just because someone else has released a similar callout. Personally I find its great when there are several different versions of the same type of callout, as it adds to the level of randomness - if there's 3 packs that have an Indecent Exposure callout, thats at least 3 possible outcomes everytime I accept the call, which sure beats "oh, its callout blah, I just have to go here, do this, bam done, call PT/coroner/towtruck and move on". I'm pretty sure theres some overlap in almost all of the callout packs.... and hey, at least you're adding more value to the game than the one guy thats making cheap ripoffs of everyones callouts with bad engrish lol
  20. For some crazy reason I thought it'd be a smart idea to try and enforce traffic on GTA's mad AI in today's stream. It's also a two-parter due to repeated LSPDFR/GTA crashes.
  21. I'm not sure if you can turn off specific apps, but you can flag certain wifi connections as "metered" and Windows will reduce its data usage on that network (I think you could also do this on 8/8.1?). Never really had to use this myself though, so I'm not sure how well it works.
  22. It was quite bad when it first came out, mostly cause there were barely any drivers ready for it. I rolled up to 10 around sept/oct last year, and haven't looked back. Granted I don't play every AAA game that's come out in that time, but I've had absolutely no issues with any of the ones I do.
