  1. I would... not sure if you'll see any difference in game, but SSDs are much faster in general. If you can afford it, I say yes!
  2. @Matthewcl375 Yes, if you can go up in price then I say go for it. Get the i5 6600K, it's only $20 more, faster and is overclockable. I recently had a GTX 960 4GB, it's a decent card (couldn't have MSAA turned on however, but you should be fine).
  3. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/wxZqpb Maybe something like this? You will need to buy OS if you don't have it.
  4. Very true, I just picked up a new EVGA GTX 1070 for $429
  5. Are you asking for a pre-built system in your OP or the parts for a build in this price range? Many of these $400-600 YouTube builds that you see include used parts, does not include OS, etc.
  6. The way I see it, if you want to play at 1080p at 60fps on high-very high settings (with MSAA off), you will have to spend $1,000+ on the build considering you buy everything new. If you're willing to sacrifice visual quality and fps, you could certainly get away with a cheap $600 build. Not sure why people do this, as you're building a system for yesterday's standards, not today's or certainly not tomorrow's. I spent about $1,400 on my setup. Run the game on high-very high settings with MSAA x4 at 45+fps with LSPDFR and mods. Also, I'm not worried about future updates or even any new games coming out. If you must limit yourself at $600, you could build a cheap setup using AMD 6-8 core processor, GTX 960 card, 8gb ram, cheap mobo etc.

  8. Most epic LSPDFR patrol yet!
  9. hahaha! I'm getting my pen and paper ready on future mod suggestions and what I could've done better!! haha
  10. Yep! It's basically an unmarked police car. But as others have stated, they do get to keep the cars off duty which I think is awesome. Regarding the trainer and a license plate mod, that wouldn't be 100% accurate. Connecticut CVPIs have the black pieces on the trunk between taillights. You would miss that part if you just used a trainer to color the vehicle grey. But I agree, this is a very basic texture indeed.

I couldn't find a correct CT State Police Skin, so I made my own. This features the correct (to me) shade of grey and the black pieces on the trunk between the taillights. Pretty basic skin, but the only correct one on this site to-date! Please note that this texture works on multiple CVPIs (by POLICESCO, Bxbugs123, Black Jesus, etc). I only created the texture, please do not reupload this file anywhere without my permission Installation: 1. Download CVPI Model by POLICESCO (http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/9268-lspd-cvpi-4k/) 2. Use OpenIV and go to: (Mods)/x64e/levels/gta5/vehicle.rpf/police.ytd (or wherever you installed it) 3. Set OpenIV to Edit Mode 4. Open police.ytd 5. Replace cvpi_sign_1 texture (delete others if wanted ex: cvpi_sign_2, cvpi_sign_3, etc) 6. Save and enjoy! Vehicle used: -Iggy Fresh Video of CVPI with said texture:

Love this car! Amazing attention to detail. I use it a lot for Military Police episodes. Thank you!
This is now my most favorite car in the game. Amazing attention to detail, thank you! This is by far the best 2015+ Charger out there.
Another amazing set Brad! I just used it on a 2015 Charger in my upcoming episode :D Thanks for volunteering your time to help out this community!

  15. Thank you for fixing the trunk issue. However, now I'm unable to apply window tints to the model like I used to with the old model. Anyways to fix that?

  17. Yes, very stable. Haven't seen any issues at all and temperatures are still great, the highest I've seen was 49 degrees after a gaming session.

  20. What's going on guys. Thought it would be cool if we had a thread where everyone listed their computer specs and what FPS they get in GTA 5. I tried to do a quick search but couldn't find such a thread. I think it would be helpful for others to see how different systems perform. Anyways, here's my setup currently: - Intel i5-6600K Skylake OC'd to 4.0Ghz - GIGABYTE G1 Z170 Gaming Mobo - EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB FTW - 16GB DDR4 G.SKILL SDRAM - Mushkin 512GB SSD - Corsair Hydro H50 Liquid Cooler When running in-game benchmark, I get about an average of 60FPS on mostly high to very high settings with MSAA turned off. I just purchased an EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB, super excited to see how much of a difference it will make. I will update my post soon.
