Good textures, but the normal mapping is terrible. -
At last, the drought is over! I had a feeling news would be released today, and like lightning from a cloudless sky, it was! The LSPD helicopter looks like a Bell Jet Ranger/MD 500, whereas the LCPD one in GTA IV looked like a Bell 212. Looks like we got the Los Santos version of the U.S. Bank Tower, as usual. The city stretches as far as the eye can see, that's good. Maybe it's because I'm playing too much L.A. Noire, but I'm getting an L.A. Noire vibe from that second screenshot.

The cars themselves are available on GTA Police Mods and LCPDFR. As for the liveries, I have not released them to the public, for they are based off of many other liveries and getting permission from all of the other authors would be a giant hassle. -
You can make any vehicle drive around the city as if it was a police vehicle. Just go in to your cargrp.dat file and go down to the # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS group. You will see all the names of the police vehicles in the game. Normally, you will see police and police2 in the first two slots. Replace those two with the names of any car you want to replace them with.

The font the Detroit Police uses on their vehicles is "AR Berkley". It's free to download.

Just press Ctrl-Alt-D to disable the trainer and Ctrl-Alt-E to turn it back on.

The MVA website: http://www.mva.maryland.gov/Vehicle-Services/REG/newmdplate.htm They said that this plate is only going to be around for three more years. It's for new cars only, and old cars will still keep their plates.
