  1. It's nothing new, I have not uploaded anything than this in the last half year.

  3. EVI had a lot of his old mods removed, do you have his permission for uploading his tow truck?
  4. He uses this model: http://www.gta-modding-chest.com/database/119-2008-ford-crown-victoria-police-interceptor-dallas-police-department/index.html
  5. No, but you usually see an error when the game creashes.
  6. This is Kinkstas model, right? As far as I remember, it definitly wasn't the best conversion. LODs are missing, parts have incorrect names, materials are wrong. By the way, what error code do you get when you load it ingame?
  7. I've written it's my last release here, I'm still releasing on my own website. Though, I'm taking a break currently anyways. And no, I'm not going to advertise my website in the description, whoever wants to follow me can do that bit of research, it's not hard to visit my profile.
  8. The Driver model is more accurate and has less bugs than Schaefft's model.

I haven't uploaded any file to LCPDFR in the last months, this is likely my last release here. I'm currently taking a break from modding, if you want to stay up to date visit my own website. Installation: Put the noose.wft and noose.wft into your vehicles.img. Credits: - Model is Ford Crown Victoria from Driver SF, converted to GTA IV by F5544, modified by KevinDV and Cj24. - Rims by Bxbugs123, Textures by Lt.Caine. - Whelen EDGE made by KevinDV. - Toughbook, Antennas, Cameras and Radars modeled by Ridgerunner, textured by Cj24. - Spotlight made by Cj24. - Liveries made by Break. Notes: To make the emergency lights work properly, you need ELS. Files included: - noose.wft - noose.wtd - readme.txt - template.png - pic (1).jpg - pic (2).jpg - pic (3).jpg It is forbidden to upload this or a modified version for public without permission. Changing textures is allowed for personal use. Any commercial or by laws prohibited use of the content of this archive is forbidden.
  9. All you did was putting other skins together. I recognize parts of my skins and I'm pretty sure I've already seen other parts before. You definitly need to fix your credits.

  11. Yes, it seems like I did take your post wrong, if you just wanted to give him a friendly advice, make it sound like one. In my opinion, modding is supposed to be fun, and nobody likes being told what to do. I'm not saying you or anybody else is an arrogant person, but here're a lot people whose posts sound exactly like that.
  12. The topic he linked to in his first clearly states it uses Inner Edge lightbars. In all of the pictures posted you can clearly see that it's an Inner Edge. There're a lot replicated cars with incorrect lights, just look at the Slicktop car in Tim98's recently released LAPD Pack. Also, I don't really understand why he should PM you? Do you have tips on how to create models? I don't think so, seeing your only model release being a CVPI with a completely wrong scaled lightbar. I'm really getting sick of all this ignorance and arrogance. It seems like nobody knows how or nobody wants to correct wrong statements. Modding isn't fun anymore, there're too many wanna-be modelers and thieves. I know there're a lot of people here who say I'm arrogant, because I feel more important than all those newbie modders. But well, I'm modding for more than 2 years and released nearly 90 mods, so form your own opinion. I don't post a lot on LCPDFR anyways, so if anybody wants to argue with me now, I'm not going to reply.
  13. You need to buy ZModeler.

  15. I actually did this in default IV with an added police bike, it should work in EFLC though. Replace the wft and wtd file and change the handling line to whatever fits your wishes. To tell the game it's no bike but a car, use this vehicles.ide line, it uses the values from the normal police car: policeb, policeb, car, POLICEB, POLICE, VEH@STD, VEH@STD_RI1, 100, 999, 0.2345, 0.2345, 0.2, 2, 1.0 ,1, ext_strong+ext_script+livery

  17. By the way, if you buy a model, convert it and release it then, you violate the actual license of the vehicle in the most cases. And this is not any better than stealing. But to get back on topic: Currently EVI is working on the Interceptor, he posted pictures here: http://www.gta-modding-chest.com/index.php?page=UserGalleryPhoto&photoID=137#profileContent. UndercoverChicken already posted several pictures of his Utility Van here in the gallery, I guess that one is finished soon. I'm pretty sure both of these cars are going to be better than BPM's.
  18. Luminescence or similar mods only increase the brightness of the lights, that's just one value in the visualSettings.dat. You can't use timecycles to make your lights look like in your screenshot, ENB is the only possibility.
  19. It has been some time since I updated this topic the last time. Here're the new mods: 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - Liberty City Police Department (ELS) Download 2008 Ford Crown Victoria - Unmarked Las Vegas Metro PD (ELS) Download 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - Dallas Police Department Download I actually don't like the look of the car so much that I have to create it. The model isn't that specific anyways, there're a lot similar vehicles released. I'm currently working on an LAPD Pack. It's going to be as realistic as possible. More information and pictures as well as a list of all planned cars can be found here.
  20. These stutters are sometimes caused by low graphic settings, I know a guy who had a much more stable game when he changed to higher settings. When I had this problem, using an ENB or specific timecyc mods fixed it for me. There're quite a lot graphic mods that increase performance without losing quality. After I replaced my GTX 570 with an AMD card, I had to change a lot of the settings in the game profile to get rid of those stutters, you could also try playing around with yours. Your vehicle mods might also cause lag, especially the Charger and the CVPI you titled as low poly have around twice as much polygons as for example Lt.Caine's ambulance, the Tahoe or the Bearcat. When the game spawns several 3mb vehicles, your hardware needs much more power as when using the 500kb default vehicles. I guess your crashes might be caused by all those scripts. Vehicle mods or changes to the data files usually don't cause crashes. SNT, xliveless and Traffic Flow shouldn't cause problems, at least I never heard of that. I'm not sure about the other scripts. I had problems with the less overtaking mod but I can't remember if I had crashes or if it simply didn't work.
