How to fix "Current Game Version Not Supported"
BlueLine Vibes replied to DonutOperator's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
Oh, good news then. I had always thought it was needed to update the mods folder after a GTA 5 update. @MichaelYoder - No need to update your mods folder if you have one. Just stay with the one you have. Just listen to the others that provided the tips here. -

ultimate backup peds with random clothes?

Daywalker, my apologies, I thought you could have read my sarcasm. I was giving you a complement. -
Just to ride on the back of UnknownBasition and Cyan: UnknownBasition & Cyan are 100% correct on this. LSPDFR will typically spawn in police vehicles (more than likely the same type of vehicles you have currently installed) they spawn nearby, further away and then eventually come within play render view of your character. Note that it can even be a few streets over. Then Lord forbid you press a Panic Button! Most are not aware of a Megabyte Hard limit imposed by Rockstar on vehicle model size. Whether that be a yft or ytd type of file. The consensus for the Megabyte hard limit imposed is fairly close to 25mb to 30mb, give or take a mb or so. So you can probably guess the trend that most vehicle mod authors have been going with and that is 4k textures. Because we all want those 40mb worth of Police Computers, Radios, Starbucks Cups, Ticketbooks, and printers that you will never see, even in first person *sarcasm off* I won't mention much more as UnknownBasition and Cyan covered great recommendation with the GTA Resource Adjuster and take a good look at your car models sizes. Focus on that ytd, there is are ways to reduce those file sizes and vids out there that go through Step by Step on how to maintain top quality and still cut the ytd size in half. (Probably not advisable to self promo my vids here) Good luck!

ultimate backup peds with random clothes?
BlueLine Vibes replied to Daywalker1974NL's topic in LSPDFR 0.4 Support
What is this? Are you actually coming back to the forums and offering the solution to your fix? Did you even provide pictures to help others that might have the same issue? There appears to be a slip in the Matrix! But in all seriousness, this is a rare thing to see on these forums and it's refreshing for a change. I won't self promo here with a link to my EUP 9.3 with Ultimate Backup Config Video here on your thread, but you can find it easy -
GTA V & RPH Crash whenever I attempt to load Story Mode.
BlueLine Vibes replied to GrizzlyCMMG's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
I think he replied with a pretty solid response - Good possibility that your Gameconfig will need to be updated. WIth an addon like you have, a new Gameconfig for GTA version 3028 will be needed no doubt. TIP: The Gameconfig on GTA 5 mods site is not currently in date. However, if you want to download NVE (Natural Vision Evolved) pretty sure even the free version is updated for 3028, it would be a great place to find a working gameconfig. NVE has a "Optional Addon Folder - Gameconfig for addon vehicles" that is updated for 3028. Now my question to you is ....... is it worth downloading an 8 gigabyte graphics mod just to grab a 90kb file? That there, is the Question of the day. No need to install NVE, just that 90kb Gameconfig OIV file that 99% of LSPDFR players are not even aware of -
I've always found Google to be the fastest way to find almost anything these days rather than a drive post on a forum.

Is your current game version 3028? Have you verified integrity of your game files through either Steam / Epic / Retail? Then last but not least, do you have a mods folder? If you have a mods folder, it may have an outdated update rpf that is reading off of an older game version. -
Convert EUP clothing to Ultimate Backup Clothing

Dang, I should have been looking in year 2021, would have found that link or on Beljojo's discord ..... Let me know if the numbers match up 100% so I don't have to test my brain out. -
Convert EUP clothing to Ultimate Backup Clothing
BlueLine Vibes replied to Padster029's topic in LSPDFR 0.4 Support
Yes, I think the comp_shirtoverlay is the same as upperskin. I am not 100% sure on the tasks if it is the same as armor. I would have to get into the game and equip. However, I think I made a EUPtoUB before and I do believe I saved a regular duty uniform with a vest and it had tasks as part of the uniform profile. So there is a good chance on that. I have only experimented with EUPtoUB for a very short amount of time. However, since I have OCD I will report back my findings if a number might need to be taken away from the model and texture, probably in about 10 hours as I am heading to work right now. -

Great question, I have only had a small bit of time with EUPtoUB plugin. However, I am curious to know if you might need to take 1 away from the items? I might be way off here, but I know with Police Menu for example, you have to take 1 away from the model and texture number for things to spawn or look properly as it technically goes by the numbers imposed by the police locker room, rather than trainers / skin control. I will have to investigate further. -

Crashes after like 30 minutes of play

BlueLine Vibes replied to OfficerDingo87's topic in LSPDFR 0.4 Support
The renaming of the dxgi.dll to d3d12.dll did not work for me and several others unfortunately. Usually after about 20-30 minutes it will start crashing the els.asi That is just logged in on duty. Not even in a car or using other menus, callouts etc. Just crashes the els.asi You can still play fine, all mods work but ELS is a no go. Was using NVE with Reshade. Now I am using Visual Vanilla -

BlueLine Vibes replied to OfficerDingo87's topic in LSPDFR 0.4 Support
It's okay to bump it. Confirmed it is Reshade for me at least. Getting Script Hook errors with els.asi and later it will be trainerv.asi Taking out Reshade corrects this issue. Taking out Reshade unfortunately takes out a lot of key features for NVE which is an unfortunate cycle. Since the author of Reshade refuses to even acknowledge that there is an issue with his dxgi.asi (more than likely) I am forced to uninstall Reshade along with NVE. I will keep an eye out for any new updates in the future, but posting on the Reshade forums and also their discord will not help. -
An exception occurred while executing ELS.asi
BlueLine Vibes replied to Gambino37's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
I will update as well when I know something. I am sure my video about NVE that I uploaded (The Day Before the GTA update) great timing eh? Viewers will have non stop issues with crashing etc. Probably will not answer those as I would just repeat myself and not going to pin any info, since I do not know what is causing it and no one reads those anyways. To answer your question "Is it a nve issue or Reshade" good question. I am going to assume it may be a combination of both. Certain aspects are needed from Reshade to get the FX like Volumetric clouds, without it, will not work as I have tested it. Reshade may be conflicting due to the FX in the reshaders that eventually cause the issue with the asi. I did see this one bit of information in Razed discord, he crossed through it to show that it had already been completed. Not sure if it has any impact as to why this started happening. An exception occurred while executing ELS.asi
BlueLine Vibes replied to Gambino37's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
Actually I have only started having these issues since the beginning of October. More than likely it had a lot to do with the fact I was on a older version of GTA 5 and an older version of Reshade for the past 4 months. Decided to give the new Volumetric clouds a go to fix the annoying flickering with ELS. Updated my game to 2944 (yep lol) updated NVE and Reshade and then the crashes started happening. So I started 100% fresh again and put a few tutorials up, why not right? Then BAM update literally hits the day after I do the tutorials making them fucking useless with everyone and their dog complaining ...... Your Script Hook video is clickbait Waaaaah, even though It was live the day before the update hit and I had no idea. Sorry, I digress. Updated Game, Now .... needed updated NVE, updated and now the crashing starts. I have taken out NVE and Reshade for now. Not going to mess with all of the visualsettings.dat files for NVE as they appear to be off quit a bit since I have no Reshade menu to correct them and I am lazy. Once things get updated properly, I will switch back. But just tired of the countless hours of non productivity and the non answers from the authors. Doesn't look like they will address this issue anytime soon. -

BlueLine Vibes replied to Gambino37's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
I do not believe the issue was fixed on the October 10th NVE release. From my understanding the only issue that was fixed was the new custom weathers. Even after the very latest release, still same issues with ELS.asi and after that further down the line, it is trainerv.asi, then openallinteriors.asi. I am truly amazed by the lack of people that use NVE with Reshade and have ELS installed on the NVE discord. I think all 3 people that posted about it including myself are in this very thread I will take out the Reshade from the main game folder and see if it also helps. I will come back and post my findings and not do a drive by post and leave everyone hanging. -

Hey your not the only one. I do claim to be very knowledgeable when it comes to LSPDFR and all mods. But this one has me stumped and I can't figure it out myself. Ran across about 5 other people with the same issues and it all started fairly recently and all 5 people I have spoken with installed NVE and Reshade. If I run across anything that works, I will post back.
